Bucky is a disabled amputee and that should still be true in AU’s and fics in general

I don’t care if it “““DoEsN’t FiT wELL””” with your Stucky Coffee Shop AU, unless a fic is exclusively pre or during the war then he should be an amputee and if a fic is exclusively pre-war then Steve should be disabled because that’s what he was pre-serum. The reason why this is so important to me is because it’s important to have representation for disabled characters and we can’t just erase that.

The only time when neither one of them were disabled was during the few years between Steve getting the serum and Bucky falling off the train.

Also, fun fact, the type of amputation that Bucky has is either a shoulder disarticulation or (more likely considering how far the metal arm goes into his shoulder) a forequarter amputation.

And now, here are some suggestions for how to explain why his left arm and shoulder are missing: Cancer, him still being a war vet who lost it in action, an accident involving heavy machinery and bad safety precautions, a very large and extremely infected wound in his shoulder or the “very revolutionary” idea of just not saying how he lost his arm but still referencing every once in awhile that it’s missing and how he’s affected by it.

An AU where Regulus survives the cave and people (mostly Sirius) keep getting him ocean/fish/kraken themed gifts.

Examples of these gifts include:

A Tshirt with a cartoony fish pattern for his birthday. (Where did Sirius get it?? Stores don’t sell these in adult sizes?? And it hasn’t been made larger with magic because the fish are the same size as they are on the kids shirts.)

One of those fish shaped hats that are supposed to look like the fish is eating your head.

Tonsils (they have a tendency to constantly get infected and then they have to get removed)

Tailbone (we don’t even have tails anymore and it’s so bad that it probably gets in the way of us shiting)

Spleen (literally just a sack of blood and it gave my uncle cancer when he was a teenager)

Is the horse Sleipnir? If it’s him that means that he’s Loki’s son. Loki literally gave birth to a horse with 8 legs in the myths.

If Loki had any kind of pet he would definitely make them some little golden horns. Just imagine him shaping some tinfoil and spray painting it gold to put on his pet cat, or someone else's cat like Bucky's to mess with him.

I have two small ones:

The first one is a tiny gash that sits between the bottom of my nose and the corner of my mouth but it doesn’t touch either of them. I got it as a baby from rolling off of my older sister’s bed and smashing a plastic box with my face.

The second one is from being bitten by a tick (and it wasn’t even one of the fun ones that give you diseases!)

i think its funny how facial scars are seen as like a major character plot point where they reveal that someone tried to kill their dad or something when i know a ton of ppl (including myself) who have facial scars bc they rlly arent uncommon and all of them are like. from tripping and falling as a toddler

Pandora Rosier who dreams of the future, who doesn't just dream of a boy drowning in a cave. but sees her brother laying on the ground; not moving, the normally cheerful Barty screaming for his mother in the dark. Who hears Dorcas' sobs ringing in her ears no matter what song she hums.

It's not just her friends she sees in visions, one day Marlene Mckinnon falls from her broom and a flash of her falling after being hit with a spell haunts Pandora for weeks. Lily and James bickering in the hall turns into death on Halloween. Alice's shrieks as Frank tosses her in the lake morph in screams of pain. Sirius staring at his brother across the dining hall melt into him staring at his brothers star from a prison cell. Remus reading alone in the library turns into his sitting alone at a graveyard. Oddly enough she never sees Peter though.

Pandora Rosier who is cursed with far to much knowledge and no power to change it. Pandora, who will see her own demise after watching all those she cares for go before her.

This is exactly what I think happened after Regulus survived his scuba diving adventure, either because:

A) Sirius found out about it and scubad after him.

B) Kreacher teleported Reggie to Sirius/Wolfstars apartment.

Regardless of which one happened, an ambulance was probably called immediately cuz the DE’s won’t ever even think to look in the ICU of a random muggle hospital.

Same. My great grandpa literally committed at least 3 war crimes to get the Nazi’s out of Denmark. Like why tf would I ever want to disrespect and disappoint my ancestors like that.

So all in all id die on this hill, not just because I have a functioning brain and a moral compass that vaguely points northish, but also because I (unlike most other basic white bitches apparently) happen to have a healthy fear of the dead/supernatural.

I know it’s not hard to point out reactionaries hypocrisy when it comes to like safe spaces or hug boxes or whatever but genuinely how much of an echo chamber do you have to exist in for you to think this is a reasonable thing to say
