“Come here,” Pepa said, willing the tremble in her voice to go away as she held Antonio tighter, her little boy hiccuping between his sobs. “Come here, I’m gonna tell you a story. I’m gonna tell you a story, okay? Once upon a time,” she said quickly, raising her voice above the yelling and crashing that was happening in her kitchen. “There was a little boy named Antonio. And he lived in a magical place called… An Encanto.”

They both flinched as they heard something smash against the wall and shatter. “Mamí!” he sobbed, clinging to her tighter.

“The little boy’s abuelo and abuela had to flee their home to look for a new place to live.” She breathed in and out, concentrating on the gentle stroking of his hair. “His abuelo sacrificed himself so his wife and three babies could have this magical place to live, free from any dangers. And what’s more- their house, their casita, was magical too. When the little boys mami and tia and tio turned five, they were given magical powers.”

Antonio wiped away his tears the best he could, allowing the story to distract him as much as it could. “What were the powers?”

“His tia could heal any injury with her delicious food, and his tio? He could see the future.”

Antonio began playing with the end of her braid. “What about the boys mami?”

“She could control the weather with her emotions. If she was happy, like when she got to cuddle up with her littlest nino and tell him stories,” she said with as much of a grin as she could manage, lightly tickling his side. “It would be sunny out.”

Antonio flinched as something else crashed against the wall before he cuddled in closer. “What if she wasn’t happy? What if she was sad or scared?”

“Then it would rain,” said Pepa softly. “A lot…”

Hello everyone! I’m so sorry for my inactivity and I haven’t been answering any requests. I’m going to try to catch up on some, but applogies if I can’t get to them all. ^^ But anywho, I hope you enjoy!

“Phew..” Mirabel sighs. She hides behind the picture frame in the wall. She peeks through the frame, no sign of her family.

“Mira-?”

“AHH!! I’m sohorry! Hahahave mercyy!!”

Mirabel had scrunched up on herself and shut her eyes. When nothing happens she looks to see a slightly worried Bruno.

“What are you doing here?” he asks.

“What are you doing here? You’re allowed to be outside now, yknow.”

“Yeah, i’m just having a get together with some old friends,” Bruno looks down to see his rats staring at them.

“Ah, sorry, tio! Uhm.. I’m just playing hide and seek with some others.”

“Sounds fun, but could you hide somewhere else? We’re exchanging secrets.”

Mirabel grins and makes her way out of the wall. She hears footsteps and ducks behind a plant. Unfortunately the plant doesn’t do much for her.

“I can hear her,” Dolores whispers. Isa giggles mischievously. Dolores smirks and slowly strolls over to the plant. Mirabel’s heart is racing. And suddenly the leaves are pushed back by Dolores.

“GOTCHA!”

“NOO!!”

Dolores and Isa tackle her to the floor. Isa grabs her sister’s arms and holds them up, while Dolores prepares her torment.

“Nohoho!! Please! Please, let me gohoho!”

“You know the rules, hermanita,” Isa teases.

“C-Can’t you just bend them for me? Pleeeease?”

“Not unless you can escape,” Dolores smiles, “and it seems like you can’t.”

Mirabel shoves them with all her force and gets up to start running. Only to run right into Pepa’s arms.

“Eek!” Mirabel squeals when Pepa immediately begins to prod her sides. Mirabel starts squirming and flops to the floor like a fish.

“Tiahahaha!!! Nohohohohoo!”

“Now you’ll get double punishment for trying to cheat!” Pepa laughs.

“Nonono!!”

“It’s only fair, mija,” Julieta chimes.

“YOU TRAHAHAHAITOR!!!”

Dolores began tickling her belly as Pepa pinned her to the ground to get her underarms.

“Pleheheheheasee! I cahahan’t!”

“Maybe next time you’ll be quicker to call dibs!” Isabela grins.

“SHUHUHUT UHUHUPPP!!!” Mirabel screams.

Dolores gasps, “that’s so rude! You really need to watch your language!” She quickly dribbles her fingers all over her ribs and stomach. Mirabel arches her hips and kicks the air.

“NOHOHOHO!! IM SOHOHOHRRY!”

Julieta and Isa smile at each other and join in, tickling each side of Mirabel’s poking at her hip now and then.

“EEEEHEHHEHEHEE!! NOHOHOHHO!! P-PLEHEHEASE!! IT’S BEEN FIVE MINUTES!”

“Actually it’s only been three,” Isabela smirks.

“AHAHAHAHHAAA!!”

“Hmm,” Pepa thinks, “I have an idea.” She let’s Julieta take over the pinning and makes her way to Mirabel’s stomach. She gently rolls up her shirt. Mirabel’s eyes widen with fear and anticipation.

“N-NO! NONONO! Please! A-anything but thahat! Stohop!” Pepa circled her sides and smirk evilly. She takes in a big breathe and blows a raspberry onto her stomach.

“AAAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH!! NOOOHOHOHOHO! PLEHEHEHEASE! PEPA PLEHEHEASE! STAHAHAHAP I CAHAHANT TAKE IHIT! EEKK!!”

Finally they let up. Mirabel is flushed and giggly. She rubs away the ghost tickles and her family helps her up.

“You…guhuhuys are cruel…!”

They all laugh.

“Time for another round?” She asks. Quickly everyone kneels and touches their nose.

“NOT IT!”

“JULIETA!!!” Pepa pokes Julieta’s sides, and she squirms away.

“Nohoho! Wahait! I have to hide first!”

Everyone laughs and begins another round. And then Bruno comes out from behind the wall. Everyone turns to look at him.

“New idea!” Julieta smiles, “instead of me hiding, Bruno should!”

“Nope.” Bruno runs off, making sure nobody follows him. They all laugh again.

“Sorry, hermana, you’re not getting away that easy!” Pepa wiggles her fingers.

“Pehepa!”

"Tsk Tsk. This is what you get for messing with my plants hermana, after this are going to help me clean up the mess you made before Abuela gets back from town!" Isabella turned around to start picking up the shattered pot pieces,

"Sorry not sorry Isa!" yelled mirabel, from the other side of the hallway before she started sprinting away before she got caught again.

It took Isabella a second before she processed what just happened but when she did,

"MIRABEL! GET BACK HERE!!!" She yelled before taking off after her. You might not know this but Isabel can be very, very fast when she wants to, and right now she was traveling faster than the speed of life. Mirabel looked behind her to see Isabel catchin- oof!

she whipped her head around to see Dolores?!

"heyyyy Dolores~ Ikindaneedtogetthroughsowouldyoupl- ack!

"Thank you - - Dolores -" isabella said as she caught her breath.

"no problem prima, I heard about what was happening from the other room so I thought I'd help you out."

How they were having a normal conversation right now was a mystery to Mirabel since she was currently being held with both her arms above her head as the tried to escape.

"did you really think that you could escape mira?" 

Mirabel gulped before looking up at her sister.

“maybe?” she replied with a nervous smile.

Isabella gave her a sinister smile before digging in, not soon after Dolores joined in making mirabel shriek. This was going to be a long day...

When all of a sudden she saw her mom walk by and thought that she should get back at her mom for tickling her yesterday

She slowly snuck up behind her but Julieta heard some noise and as she turned around Isabella pounced on her causing her to fall to the ground on her back and isa is sitting on her hips

“I-isa? What are you doing?” Julieta seemed confused

“PAYBACK for yesterday” Isabella spoke in a mischievous tone

Julieta gave her a puzzled look

“Nevermind let me just show you” with that she started to tickle her sides

“MmmhehmPh ughmmaph” julieta gave her best shot at trying to stop herself from laughing by putting her hands on Isabella’s wrists so she can at least stay in one spot

“Aww mom you don’t have to pretend you aren’t ticklish? Your laugh is my remedy” she chuckled

Julieta turned 5 different shades of red

Julieta smirked “you little rascal-..”

Isabella froze and braced her self for a tickle attack but instead she felt arms wrap around her in a hug

Isabella gladly excepted and hugged her mother back, sure Julieta was planning on getting her back but for now, all she wants is a nice relaxing moments with her daughter

“Is that so? How cute look at you trying to scram away but it’s no use no one can escape my tickles…especially you”

Julieta started to tickle her belly button which causes her to have cute hiccups and giggles

“Yohou ahre sho mehan” she managed to let out while in fetal position with a few giggles coming due to the attack

“So are you gonna say it or do I need to make myself clear again?” She smirked wiggle her fingers above Dolores’s stomach

Dolores sat up and thought that she couldn’t let out Bruno’s secret he practically begged Dolores to keep it quite so she lied…

“Well um see I basically wanted to uhh feed some townspeople and seeing if they uhm would like new food hehe”

Juli had a stern look

Dolores gulped and sweating like a lawn sprinkler

“Aww how sweet mi amor, that must have been really nice of you” she smiled back

“Yeah..”

“Well I’ll be off now see you later corazon” the healer smiled warmly as she exited the room

Dolores had never felt that relieved
