Hello, I'm Ola, a graduate student from the faculty of science - Al-Azhar University in Gaza Palestine. I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. As you reading my message, myself and my family, “my mother, father, three sisters, and my little brother,” are fighting death in northern Gaza and trying to survive under all kinds of suffering including but not limited to destruction, fear, and instability, starvation, thirst, and poverty.

Since 471 days until now, we have been struggling to get proper food after prices increased by 15 to 20 times, struggling to have clean water for use and drinking.

After a long and tiring effort, my Tumblr account @olasfamily has been disabled, and I have to start over. I feel sad and lost, but I don’t want to face this journey alone. I kindly ask you to share and support us; every donation and every share means a lot to me in this difficult time. Please don’t leave me to face this challenge on my own.

I am writing to you as we struggle through very difficult conditions with winter approaching. The cold is becoming harsher by the day, and we lack the warm clothing needed to endure this freezing weather. We cannot afford to buy new clothes due to the steep rise in prices, and most of what we have is old and worn out.

We are longing to rebuild our shattered lives, and I can't do it without you. I need your support to complete my education and help my family rise from the ruins and find hope again.

Ello fellow Tumblr dwellers! My name is Adler, although I alternatively go by the name Rasmus (mainly for those who already know me from elsewhere). I'm an artist, cosplay enthusiast, gamer(-ish), and a moderator for the Wandering Spirit Discord (as well as the associated games)! I'm thinking that this goober might've been cast out from his herd at about seven months due to his size and abnormal colors (lack of pigment due to leucism), which led to him getting snatched up by animal traffickers not long after. He was rescued, of course, but it still left him with enough trauma to make him distrusting/ scared of humans (and, unfortunately, other members of his species from little proper socialization)

Poor dude has like.. No fight response, only flight. If another male sickle-horn were to challenge him he'd probably plop down on the ground or run away. He's smaller than the average male sickle-horn (just over 6 feet / 1.8 metres) and his horns aren't as big nor durable as they should be. He isn't sickly, he was just on the unlucky side of the gene pool

Share my brother story 🙏

My older brother, who is 34 years old, went missing in the northern Gaza Strip on November 10, 2023.

He left his home from Jabalia camp to buy bread for his children, but he did not return to his home.

We searched for him in hospitals, corpses, and security centers, but we did not find him. We ran in the streets to search. Like children, we have lost our minds. The middle of the night comes and we are looking for him, and until now we do not know any news about him.

He left behind 4 children 💔

All of this is due to the occupation. Dozens have gone missing in the north and south of the Gaza Strip, and my brother is one of these victims.

To find food, we expose ourselves to danger for the sake of our children.💔😔😔
