I lost my home and was displaced more than once. Every time, I was escaping death amidst the screams of my children under war and death. I currently live in a tent in the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter.💔 Life is very difficult, like hell. I need to buy milk, diapers, food and drink for my children. Before the war, Mahmoud was an Information Technology student at Gaza University, harboring dreams of building a brighter future for his family. Those dreams were shattered when the university was bombed, classes were suspended, and his home in Khan Yunis was reduced to ruins. Now, Mahmoud and his family live in a makeshift tent in a displacement camp, fighting to survive without water, electricity, or access to food.

The winter cold seeps through every threadbare inch of the tent, and the howling wind drowns out the silence left by everything they’ve lost. With his father sick and his brother in need of medical care, Mahmoud shoulders the burden of his family’s survival alone. Every day is a battle against hunger and despair, a struggle to find clean water and enough food to keep his loved ones alive.

Despite the ceasefire, the nightmare continues. The streets of Gaza are lined with hollow buildings and shattered glass, a grim reminder that peace is a fragile but unwavering hope. The infrastructure is decimated, jobs are nonexistent, and the people are left to fend for themselves amid the wreckage. Mahmoud's dreams of finishing his education are now intertwined with a desperate plea for survival—for the chance to escape Gaza, to rebuild their lives, to turn the page on this chapter of endless loss.

We are living in very difficult circumstances after the occupation launched the war on Gaza. We were displaced from our home and live in a tent that does not protect us from the cold of winter or the heat of summer. We live in extreme poverty due to the circumstances and there is no income. We are no longer able to provide the necessary supplies of food, drink and others due to the insane rise in prices. Thus, my source of livelihood was destroyed and we live in very difficult conditions in tents. It is difficult for me to find the words to describe what we face every day in the tents without food, medicine, or drinking clean water, along with the oppression, helplessness, psychological pressures, and daily traumas that everything causes. Around us and unable to care for our families, the fear of danger, disease and death never leaves us

Now, I find myself in this difficult situation, and I humbly ask for your help to save the lives of my family, especially my little girl, by getting us out of Gaza to Egypt and building a new life outside Gaza or helping us get money to buy the necessities we might be able to afford. Asking for help is not easy, but we had no choice because we want to survive and strive to rebuild our shattered lives.
