SOMETHING better than what we could see at first glance but no! the evil guy is dead haha and he stays evil. and he stays dead we don't have to worry about whether or not he deserved to die we don't have to worry about what it would mean that hero society would force a teenager to be the one to kill him we don't even have to spare a thought to the redemption he could've had because yes of course the only true redemption is DYING.
