idk if it exists or not but. minecraft au. (benreys herobrine)
Maaaan, where were all these White folks during the past 8 years that Black Lives Matter has been protesting? Because, honestly, this shit is irritating and infuriating.
Why do you care now?? What took you so fucking long to give a shit about us?? What have y’all been doing while we’ve been suffering at the hands of cops and your people? What have y’all been doing while we’ve been getting gunned down in broad daylight? What have y’all been doing while we’ve been fighting, crying, mourning, and dying for our people? WHERE 👏🏾 THE 👏🏾 FUCK 👏🏾 HAVE 👏🏾 Y'ALL 👏🏾 BEEN?!?! 👏🏾
Some of y'all only give a shit about looking “woke” and “progressive” to Black folks and your White counterparts, and it shows. Y'all need to cut that shit the fuck out. You only hurt our cause when you show your ass like this. Allyship is not allyship when it’s performative, and even if you’re an “ally,” you’re still an oppressor. And y'all need to realize that.
We don’t want another George Floyd. We don’t want another Tony McDade. We don’t want another Ahmaud Arbery. We don’t want another Breonna Taylor. We don’t want another Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Sandra Bland, Tamir Rice, Philando Castile, Rekia Boyd, Eric Garner, Freddie Gray, Natasha McKenna, Samuel DuBose, Alton Sterling, Aiyana Jones, Laquan McDonald, Jocques Clemmons, Deborah Danner, Terence Crutcher…. We want justice. We want change. We want a future for ourselves and our children. We want to be able to exist without fear, without pain, and without our lives constantly being threatened. And we want y’all to do your part and work to dismantle the system that was created to harm us.
We are so tired of Whites sitting around doing nothing while our people are dying. Sharing posts in support of us and the movement is not enough. Signing a petition or two is not enough. We need y’all to call out your White counterparts for their racism and work on your own racial biases as well. We need y’all to listen to us when we talk about the injustices we face and learn from it. We need y’all to listen to and uplift our voices. And we really need y’all to be actively engaged in destroying everything that works to destroy us.

I too get evil when anything happens
You know, it's really interesting looking at how much of a fucking prick Klavier is during Turnabout Serenade compared to Turnabout Corner and Turnabout Succession. I don't remember if I mentioned it explicitly in my Klavier analysis (which you can find all 3,952 words of here) but when you compare his behavior in Turnabout Serenade to Turnabout Corner or Turnabout Succession, he's such an asshole, seemingly for the sake of being an asshole.
During Turnabout Corner and Turnabout Serenade, he's largely focused on either helping Apollo and being really weird about it or having a mental breakdown because his brother is being accused of murder for the second time in less than a year. The worst any of his comments come off as in Turnabout Corner at least are lighthearted teasing. He straight up implies Ema's bad at her job because he kept vital information from her (basically blaming Ema for a decision he's implied to have consciously made).
I've mentioned it before but I don't think Klavier necessarily does this on purpose. His behavior in Turnabout Serenade is similar to his behavior when he's 17, similar enough that I actually think it's either a form of age regression or him regressing in regards to whatever mental health treatment he got between the 2019 section of Turnabout Succession and Turnabout Corner. It's so interesting and also breaks my heart tbh. I want to know why his instinct when something traumatic happens to him is to get really fucking mean about it.
the speech contest
Dark skin,
Large lips,
Wide noses,
And a powerful history.
These are trademarks of my people,
BLACK people.
We have fought, and struggled, and died for our futures,
And we are still being denied.
On social media, like TikTok,
We are being forced down on the for you pages.
White creators are using our content and getting all the glory.
When you hear the name Charlie D'amelio, what do you think of?
You may think of TikTok, or the renegade.
I think of how she stole the original dance
From a BLACK creator.
And after learning, she’s done NOTHING,
To spread the positivity she receives,
To spread the fame.
If you look her up on Google, you will see American dancer.
She didn’t make those dances up, she stole them.
It was only after many famous people did it without credit,
The world learned it was originally by Jalaiah Harmon.
A young black dancer.
And it’s not just social media.
Recently George Floyd was killed.
By four white police officers.
Want to know what they did,
Minneapolis.
Had the GALL.
To say “it’s unforgivable”
And then fire them.
That's all.
They just handed them a pink slip.
And said “It’s ok that you killed this innocent black man, here's a job referral so that you’ll be sure to get another job. Have fun!”
One kneeled on this poor man's neck,
While he gasped, and said
“I can’t breathe”
He knew what he was doing.
He could have stopped,
But he didn’t
And Floyd died.
And they just fired them.
People are protesting,
The family is saying they should be harshly punished,
And I agree.
And you can’t say “it's because black’s are more violent
Don’t you see they live in the bad neighborhoods,
And there are shootings everyday!
And oh dear, they’re in gangs!”
Ok, sure.
What race are most school shooters,
What race was Dylan Kebold?
What about Dylann Roof?
George Floyd was charged with ALLEGED forgery,
FORGERY!
Dylann Roof, who we knew killed those black families,
Just trying to exercise religion,
Was taken in peacefully.
This man MURDERED my PEOPLE.
And was taken in like he got a DUI.
But they killed George in daylight,
While being filmed, and they knew,
The system would protect them.
The system was made to protect the public.
Not the police.
I’m scared of the police.
I’m scared that one day, my dad will be pulled over for no reason,
And that someone I know and love could be next.
I’m tired of fighting for my rights,
And being followed around in stores.
Someone I know has been asked to empty their pockets in a store,
A respectable, kind person.
Just because he was black.
This melanin that’s in my skin,
Remember all the pain our ancestors have experienced.
We will rise,
And we won't be silenced.
