Here's a dark forest I painted the other day 🍃🎨 - I'm quite happy with how the fading colour turned out

Impressions from my trip to Greece :^)

ID: Two watercolour sketchbook drawings posted vertically. The first one focuses on a green hill with castle ruins on the very top, blue sky and many big, billowing clouds behind it. The foreground, which is much closer to the viewer, shows two pencil outlines of buildings surrounded by greenery. The tree on the right stands out in particular as it has long, spiky leaves and red flowers. The second drawing shows a calm blue sea and several rocks and islets in varying shapes, all white with greenery on top. There is a single reddish buoy floating in the sea. A larger, entirely green island can be seen behind, on a background of blue mountains. End ID

A little experiment with colors!

So this is another version of this. This one is on Hahnemuhle Anniversary Watercolor Paper. I definitely like the way the colors look on this paper more than the Strathmore 400. It's not my best, but it's not bad.
