or: Why Aizawa Almost Quit That Day
---
It was a day like any other… until it wasn’t.
Rumors started circling around breakfast.
“They’re giving us the talk today,” Mina whispered, eyes wide.
“You mean the ‘birds and the bees’?” Kaminari smirked.
“I mean the ‘you’re all future pro heroes and the press is gonna catch you doing something dumb so here’s how not to ruin your career with a sex scandal’ talk,” Momo clarified, already emotionally distressed.
At exactly 10 a.m., Class 1-A was herded into one of the support classrooms. Aizawa was already there, rubbing his temples like he aged 10 years overnight.
Midnight stood at the front in heels and a tight suit, holding a laser pointer and a deadpan expression.
Present Mic was there for emotional support. Possibly emotional damage.
Then it began.
---
“Welcome to the UA Pro Hero Sexual Education & Conduct Course,” Midnight said smoothly.
“Also known as: ‘Keep It In Your Pants Until You’re Off the Clock.’”
Several people choked.
“I’M NOT READY,” Kaminari whimpered.
“Bro, we’re literally built for trauma,” Kirishima whispered back.
“I THOUGHT THIS WAS MATH CLASS,” yelled Iida in horror.
Meanwhile, Y/N was sitting front row, snacks in hand, eyes glowing with danger.
“Oh this is gonna be good.”
---
Slide 1: “Consent Is Sexy.”
“Absolutely,” Y/N said, nodding like she was on a talk show.
“But also—let’s talk about the real danger here.”
Everyone turned.
Y/N stood up and pointed at the projector.
“THIS! FONT! IS! HORRIBLE!”
“It’s giving... Microsoft Word from 2008. I feel like I’m being visually assaulted.”
“Sit down, Y/N,” Aizawa muttered.
“But my eyes have rights too—”
---
Slide 2: “Quirks & Intimacy”
Midnight began explaining how quirks can impact personal relationships and safety.
“So you’re telling me,” Y/N interrupted, “if someone has a lightning quirk and accidentally zaps you in a sensitive zone, it’s technically a workplace hazard?”
Denki went red.
“I’VE NEVER— I— I MEAN—”
“I’m just saying, bro,” Y/N added, shrugging. “Charge up the wrong spot and someone’s getting CPR.”
“Y/N,” Aizawa growled.
“Oh my god,” whispered Uraraka, curling into herself.
---
Slide 3: “Hero Image & Scandals”
Midnight: “As heroes, your personal lives may become public. So being recorded in compromising situations—”
Y/N raised her hand.
Everyone held their breath.
Midnight sighed. “Yes, Y/N?”
“What happens if a scandal boosts your popularity? Like, what if I pull a full ‘celebrity tape leak’ and end up getting sponsored by a mattress company?”
Aizawa stood up and left the room.
No explanation.
---
Slide 4: “Protection & Responsibility”
They passed around “educational materials.”
Y/N held up a condom and stared at it like it was an alien artifact.
“Do these come in glitter?”
“No,” Midnight said without looking up.
“They should. Missed marketing opportunity. ‘Safety, but make it sparkly.’”
Kaminari wheezed.
“Also this thing looks like a sad balloon. If you blow it up and let it fly, does it scream like a dying rubber chicken?”
She tried.
It did.
---
Slide 5: Questions & Open Discussion
“Absolutely not,” Iida said immediately.
“I have one,” Y/N grinned.
“No,” Todoroki said flatly, before she could speak.
“You don’t even know what I was gonna say!”
“You were gonna ask if quirks can be sexually transmitted,” he said without blinking.
“...Okay first of all, that’s a valid question and I don’t like how quickly you guessed it.”
---
AFTERMATH
The class sat in stunned silence as Midnight wrapped things up.
“Any final takeaways?” she asked sweetly.
Y/N raised her hand and said:
“Yeah. I’m never trusting Denki near a hot tub again.”
Denki: “I SAID I DIDN’T MEAN TO ZAP THAT ONE TIME—”
The room devolved into chaos.
Aizawa never came back.
Rumor says he’s still walking the streets of Tokyo, wondering where he went wrong.
The sun had just started to set, casting a golden glow over the U.A. training grounds. You sat on the bleachers, nursing a bottle of water after a long training session. Denki Kaminari was pacing nervously nearby, chewing on his lower lip.
You watched him out of the corner of your eye. He kept glancing your way, then turning back around and muttering something to himself.
“Denki,” you called. “Are you okay? You look like you're about to short-circuit.”
He jumped—literally—and gave you a sheepish grin. “Haha, yeah! Totally fine. Just, uh… processing. Y’know. Brain stuff.”
You raised an eyebrow. “Since when do you process before doing something dumb?”
“Ouch,” he said, mock-pouting. “That was rude. Accurate, but rude.”
You laughed, and he rubbed the back of his neck, the blush rising to his cheeks like a voltage spike. “Okay, uh… can I tell you something? Like… serious something?”
Your heart skipped a beat. “Yeah, of course.”
He took a deep breath and stepped in front of you, eyes unusually steady despite the sparks dancing along his fingertips.
“I know I joke around a lot. And I know I’m not exactly the smoothest guy in the class—”
“You once flirted with a vending machine,” you reminded him.
“That machine ate my money, it was a declaration of war,” he said, flustered, but quickly shook his head. “Anyway. The point is… I like you. A lot. Like, a lot a lot.”
You blinked, stunned, as he kept going, words tumbling out in a rush.
“And I’m not saying I expect you to feel the same, but I just—every time you smile, I feel like I could overload. In a good way! Not in the ‘eyes-go-blank-I’m-a-human-lightning-rod’ kind of way. I just… had to say it.”
There was a beat of silence.
Then you smiled.
“You’re such a dork.”
He groaned and dropped his head into his hands. “Oh nooo, that’s it. I’m fried. I blew it.”
You reached out and tugged his sleeve gently. “Denki.”
He peeked at you through his fingers.
“I like you too.”
His eyes widened. “Wait—really? Like, seriously? No short-circuiting joke?”
“No joke,” you said, standing up to face him. “I think you’re funny. And brave. And sweet. And yeah… a little dumb sometimes.”
He grinned, the electricity in his hair sparking wildly now. “That’s fair.”
Then, suddenly unsure, he held out his hand. “So, uh… can I take you on a real date? No vending machines involved.”
You laced your fingers through his. “You’d better.”

Pairing: Bakugo Katsuki x (platonic) Chubby Little Sister OC
Tags: sibling vibes, soft moments, light bullying, Mitsuki being a mom, grumpy x sunshine
---
“You’re seriously making me babysit her?”
Bakugo’s scowl could’ve cracked concrete. Arms crossed, eyes twitching in irritation, he stared down at the chubby little girl peeking out from behind his mom’s legs.
Mitsuki rolled her eyes. “She’s your sister, Katsuki. And I have errands. You can either watch her or listen to me scream for an hour. Pick.”
He groaned like he was being sentenced to death. “She cries all the damn time.”
“I do not!” she squeaked, voice breaking halfway through. Her round cheeks were already turning pink, her hands clutching the hem of her too-big t-shirt. “You’re just mean!”
“And you’re a crybaby,” Bakugo snapped, already turning toward the living room. “C’mon, Baby Bear. Let’s get this over with.”
She blinked. “Baby… bear?”
“Yeah. Round, soft, and whiny. Don’t get snot on the couch.”
---
At first, she avoided him—tiptoeing around, too scared to even ask to change the channel. Bakugo ignored her just as much, only occasionally tossing a jab like:
“Stop stomping, you sound like a baby Godzilla.”
“Why are you always eating something?”
“Don’t look at me like that, I’m not gonna cry with you.”
But Mitsuki kept forcing them together.
Board games. Movie nights. Grocery trips. He even got roped into walking her home from school once.
And slowly—very slowly—things shifted.
---
She started sitting closer.
He stopped rolling his eyes when she talked.
She’d bring him little snacks she made (badly).
He’d ruffle her hair when she got nervous.
And when she got picked on at school for her weight?
Bakugo showed up the next day, leaned on the classroom doorframe, and said loud enough for everyone to hear:
“You mess with my sister again, I’ll turn your desks into kindling. Got it?”
She didn’t cry that day.
But she did tell him he looked cool.
And for the first time, he only called her “Baby Bear” once that whole day.

◇
◇
You grunted as the hard and big sharp blade pierced and dragged down your arm multiple time's, blood trickling down all the way to the bottom as you heard the drops of blood hit the ground. Your breath was uneven and your hands and whole body shok, probably because of the sharp object injected into your skin. You didn't know why you did it, but it just felt right.
A few moments passed before you walked towards the bathroom to wash of the remains of the blood on the blade, the bathroom door creaked as you pushed it aside.
You took a cloth that hung on the small metall bar beside the shower and carefully wiped the blade, being carefull to clean everything off and not to cut your finger.
You laid back the cloth and walked back towards a drawer next to your bed, you gently and carefully placed the blade into one of the shovels.
You sighted as you looked at your arms, blood dripping out of the hem of it, you'd probably have to bandage it because of the cuts, but then you'd have to go downstairs to get some from thr medkit in the small box that was hung on a wall inside the kitchen and then everybody would suspect something going on.
You didn't want to start commotion, that was the least you needed right now. You had a few cotton pads in a tall glass next to your makeup shellf and you also had a box of wipes under your desk so you didn't have to worry about those things.
"Hmm... maybe i should just ask katsuki he usually doesn't question things unless he gets suspicious, and most of the times he had to bring something to you he never asked why you needed it"
You told to yourself.
And if he got suspicious, you could just say something happened at training, right?
You walked to the bed and sat on it, quickly grasping your phone and pressing on Bakugo's contact.
"Can you bring me some bandages plsss"
You typed and laid down the phone, waiting for a response. "Bling" was suddenly heard and you picked up the phone.
"Tch, are you too lazy to to downstairs or somethin"
"Just get it for me asshole"
"K, fine."
A few moments later bakugo knocked on ythe door and you sprinted quietly towards it, you opened the door halways so he wouldn't see your bloodied arms.
"Here ya go, take the the bandages, but why do ya even need it in the first place"
"Oh uhm, something happened at training today, it's nothing serious but my "wound" opened up again, but anyways thanks for the bandages!"
He frowned and made a "tch" sound before he turned on his heels and walked away. You rolled your eyes before closing the door. You gathered all the things you needed to clean and bandage the scars.
First you put some water on a few cotton pads and softly wiped the bleeding cuts with it, then you grabbed a pair of wipes and carefully wiped of the water. Finally you picked up the bandage roll and cut off a small piece, you carefully wrapped it around your arms.
After everything was done you cleaned up everything around you, washing away the drops of blood on the floor and changing into your night clothes.
You checked your phone before placing it on your night table and pulling the blanket over your body.
Hours passed and soon sunlight beams became vissible shining strongly throught the curtains. You woke up and groaned as you sat up and rubbed your eyes, your memory refreshing as you thought about how much damage you did yesterday.
You raised your arm as a sudden pain stung you, you whinced and groaned as you shut your eyes closed. A sight left your mouth as you stood up and walked towards your closet, you grabbed your uniform and walked towards the bathroom to change.
When you were done you did light makeup look with mascara, lipgloss and a tiny bit of blush. You smiled at your outfilt, you put your books in your bag and made sure you looked fine before heading downstairs to eat breakfast.
When you arrived downstairs you saw some of your classmates already sitting around a table, they shoot you a glance and waved at you to come closer. You took quicks steps towards them and sat down next to mina.
"Hey girl! What took ya so looooong, it was getting boring without you"
She said as she took a bite out of her cereal earning a chuckle from you.
"Sorry sorry! I guess I lost track of time, I promise!"
"Hmmm, are ya sure you weren't making out with bakugo or something like that"
She smirked as the people around you quickly widened their eyes and shoot bakugo and you a glance. Your mouth widened and your eyes raised, bakugo quickly looked at mina and shot her a big frown, IIda's eyes looked like they were gonna pop out if his scull, momo put a hand on her mouth and sero smiled playfully.
"WHAT THE HELL RACOON EYES"
"H-HUH"
"Oh god"
"THAT IS HIGHLY INAPPROPIATE"
Your cheeks flushes with a red tint and you quickly tried to change the topic of the talk.
"That didn't happen, I promise!"
"Hmmm, fine fine I belive you but next time I'll catch you"
"You sure will"
You said while chuckling.
A few minutes later you checked the watch on your wrist, a few minutes left before class was starting. You put your breakfast in your backpack before rising up from your seat.
As you took some steps you heard mina say your name
"Y/n? Why didn't you eat your lunch, you didn't even take one bite"
She asked with a confusing look on her face.
"Oh uhm, im not really hungry right now, feeling a little nauseous so just might wait til dinner"
Katsuki took a notice in this but didn't say anything as he watched and listened to your conversation with the pink haired girl.
"Oh okay, hope you get better, we better get going to class too, mind if we walk with you to class?
"I don't"
You smiled as you watched her and the others stand up, throwing away the remains of the breakfast in the trash before following you to class.
Some hours later you're in your fourth period, your scars itched and were begging to get itched. Your brows furrowed in irritation, your homeroom teacher, shota aizawa took a notice in how your brows had furrowed in almost each period.
He walked to your desk and bent down with his hands on each side of the table.
"L/n what's wrong, and don't you dare say nothings wrong because I've noticed your face rhythms so tell me"
You looked up at his sharp face studying your every move.
"Uhm, nothings wrong what do you mean"
"L/n."
He stated strongly, "don't you lie to me"
"I'm fine, don't you worry"
He grabbed your arm before watching you whince and groan as you pulled your arm back in a fast motion holding it with your other arm.
He slowly pulled his arm back and looked at it.
"Why did you-" He stopped talking when he noticed something red spilled under your left arms hem.
You widened your eyes and swallowed your saliva, watching his eyes following your gaze. You hid your arm under the desk as you waited for a reaction.
"L/n, let me see" he spoke in a dark tone as his eyes darkened.
Your lips shivered as you shook your head, you didn't have time to react before he snatched your arm back and pulled your shirt around the arm back.
He stopped when he had pulled it away, looking at the cuts around your arms. Some were small, other were looking like a normal cut you would get from getting scratched from a cat or something like that, but what really worried aizawa was the three very big cuts bleeding on the top of your arm near the elbow.
"What the h-hell" he stuttered, his eyes wide.
"Tell me what happened right now, i know damn well this injury didn't happen during training"
Your throat got dry and you struggled to find the words to explain and make up a new lie.
"TELL ME RIGHT NOW"
Aizawa shouted as you flinched and turned your head away, other students heads turned your way and looked worried for Mr Aizawa's outburst.
They locked eyes with where aizawa's were staring and many eyes widened, including bakugos,
It dripped a little more than a normal cuts would bleed, plus an injury couldn't make so many cuts in different places.
"Y/n..."
Bakugo said your name slowly as he raised up from his desk, his normal grin or smirk replaced by an angry-worried expression.
He slowly walked towards you.
Shit, this wasn't supposed to happen.
TBC?
The delivery room was under siege—and it wasn’t the contractions causing the most damage.
It was you.
Sweat poured down your face, hair plastered to your forehead, and your legs were in the stirrups as another contraction tore through you like a freight train. And yet, somehow, the loudest thing in the room wasn’t the screaming.
It was you roasting the father of your child.
“Don’t forget to breathe,” Katsuki said from your side, face pale and panicked.
Your head whipped toward him like a possessed demon.
“BREATHE?! If you tell me to breathe one more time, I’ll shove this IV stand so far up your ass you’ll be dripping saline for a week!”
A nurse dropped her pen. Another subtly ducked behind the heart monitor.
Mitsuki, to her credit, stepped in like a seasoned soldier. “Sweetheart, I know it hurts, but you’re strong—”
“STRONG? STRONG?! You gave birth to this walking anger issue and you survived, so I’m guessing your pain tolerance is WAY higher than mine!”
Bakugo flinched. “Oi! I’m right here!”
“Unfortunately!”
The doctor glanced between you and Bakugo, hesitant. “She’s... crowning.”
You gritted your teeth and let out a guttural scream. “OF COURSE SHE IS, I CAN FEEL MY ENTIRE BODY RIPPING OPEN LIKE A BAD ZIPPER—AND THIS IDIOT WON’T STOP TALKING!”
Bakugo looked like he wanted to disappear. “I’m just trying to be supportive!”
“Supportive?! You flinched when I said I wanted pickles and ice cream at the same time—now you wanna be Father of the Year?!”
One of the nurses whispered to another, “I’ve never seen a grown man look so... emotionally injured.”
The baby was almost there. The doctor guided you through another push.
“You can do this!” Mitsuki cheered.
“Don’t cheer like it’s the f***ing sports festival!”
Another push.
“Almost there!” Katsuki said, leaning over you.
“If you say one more cliché, I will personally ensure this baby is the LAST ONE YOU EVER MAKE!”
“...Yes ma’am.”
Finally, a tiny, furious wail filled the room.
The tension evaporated. You fell back, panting and drenched, while the doctor held up your son.
“It’s a boy!” they announced.
Katsuki stood frozen, staring down at the tiny red-faced infant as if he’d just witnessed God. “He’s... mine?”
You turned your head slowly, narrowing your eyes. “Yeah, congratulations, Captain Genetics.”
Mitsuki laughed. “Well, if he screams like that already, he’s definitely a Bakugo.”
You groaned. “Poor kid.”
Bakugo leaned down and pressed his forehead to yours. “You were badass.”
You cracked a tired grin. “Damn right I was. Next time you push the kid out.”
The nurses agreed silently: they’d never forget this day.
And they would never speak during a Bakugo birth again.
---
It was 3:17 a.m.
The apartment was dark, still, quiet… until it wasn’t.
A familiar wail echoed down the hallway, slicing through the silence like a siren call.
You groaned softly into your pillow, one eye cracking open. “Your turn.”
Keigo didn’t move.
You nudged him.
“…Birdbrain.”
“Okay, okay—!” he mumbled, flopping dramatically onto his back and groaning like he’d just been asked to fly to the moon. “Operation Diaper Storm is a go.”
You sat up with him, both of you bleary-eyed but weirdly in sync, shuffling down the hallway together like zombies on a mission. Soraya’s cries grew louder the closer you got.
“I got wipes and a fresh sleeper,” you said, grabbing things from the drawer with one hand while tying your hair back with the other.
Keigo scooped Soraya up from her crib, already whispering in his softest dad-voice. “Hey, hey… baby bird, relax. Backup’s here.”
Her face was red, tiny fists flailing. Definitely not in the mood for sweet talk.
They say real love is patient.
But real, real love is holding your baby’s ankles in one hand while wiping a disaster zone at 3 a.m. with the other, all while your partner tosses dirty clothes into the laundry bin and tries to get a onesie on without snapping off their own sanity.
“Why do baby legs have the strength of a pro wrestler during diaper changes?” Keigo hissed.
“Because she knows we’re vulnerable,” you muttered. “She smells fear.”
Soraya let out a high-pitched hiccup-cry and then—without warning—peed straight up into the air.
“WHOA—” Keigo dodged like he was in combat. “Direct hit! I repeat, I’ve been hit!”
You burst out laughing as he held his hands up in surrender, damp shirt clinging to his chest. “She’s got a hell of an aim.”
“She’s got your attitude,” he shot back, peeling his shirt off and grabbing a clean towel.
Still half-laughing, you finally got the fresh diaper on her, slipped her into a clean sleeper, and scooped her into your arms.
Almost instantly… she stopped crying.
Keigo stared at her, blinking. “…That was all just for fun, wasn’t it?”
Soraya blinked back, now completely serene. Possibly smug.
You leaned into him, baby tucked between you both now. “Mission complete?”
He sighed, already guiding you back to bed. “Until the next alarm goes off.”
“She’s totally gonna be a villain in the morning,” you said through a yawn.
“She’s gonna be a CEO in the morning,” he muttered. “This kid already runs the whole house.”
---
Later…
Back in bed, Keigo pressed a soft kiss to Soraya’s hair, then to your cheek.
“You know,” he whispered, eyes heavy with sleep, “even like this… I’ve never felt more like a hero.”
You smiled against his chest. “You’re not alone, birdbrain.”

AGED UP AU!
TELL ME IF YALL WANT MORE LIKE THIS
-When you first told him the news it looked like he was gonna pass out, he was excited to be a father again, but also scared that yku were gonna loose this one too.
-When you're pregnant, he will do his best to protect you, like he will literally baby proof every little thing in your house just so you or the baby don't get hurt. (SO SWEET😭)
-He will always have a hand on the tummy to check if it's alive and well, when he sees you waddle in your house he immediately follows you and walks behind you just so you don't fall because he can't handle another miscarriage.
-When you have morning sickness he will do his absolute best to make you food that doesn't make you nauseous.
-His friends from UA will always come to check up on you or visit you, to make sure everything is okay. Even bakugo visits sometime, to see the little gremlin he was gonna he an uncle to.
-His mother LOVES you, and she's really excited to be a grandmother. She always helps you when izuku isn't home because of patroling or work, theres so many times where you've had a false contraction and she immediately falls into panic but at the end everything gets sorted out.
-She also often just visits without asking to check on how everything's going, izuku has given up on deciding when his mother can visit because he knows it's a conversation he cant win.
-At night you often have nightmares because of your last miscarriage, izuku wakes up to you whining in your sleep and tossing around. He puts his arms around you and strokes your belly slowly while telling you sweet words of comfort.
-When your labour started you didn't know how to react, firstly some liquid spilled out and you got confused, then after a few minute's a strong wave of pain washed over you, that was when it clicked.
-You quickly grabbed your phone and dialed Inko's number, telling her what had happened in those few minutes. I'm not kidding, in under 3 minutes she already was bursting throught your door with a panicked expression her face. She quickly called an ambulance and sat you down in the sofa to steady your breathing.
-Just like izuku, she mumbled very much. You had to stop yourself from yelling at her. When the ambulance arrived, she quickly helped you get up and walk towards the door before some paramedics took care of the situation. While you and inko were seated in the ambulance (you laying in the bed thingy) she kept reassuring you that everything would be okay and that the birth would go well.
-Inko already had called izuku about your condition but he wasn't answering, probably because he was very busy at the time. As you arrived to the hospital the contractions got so much worse, you swore you saw jesus bringing you to the other side for a second.
-As the nurses made you comfortable in your room you couldn't help but worry about izuku, did something happen that made him unable to answer your calls? Did he get seriously hurt? So many questions flowed your head which worried you.
-As time passed you got more and more dialted and the contractions became closer and closer. Inko warned the nurses and made them look after you and check up on you. Panic set your body as you were told how far you were dialated. 10 centimeters.
-more time passed and soon you were laying in the hospital bed, cussing and throwing a curse on the poor nurses and inko that surrounded you, but what could you say? Labour hurt.
-Your whines and sobs quickly quieted down as a loud cry filled the room, you looked down to see a crying baby that flared It's arms in the air. It's face was red and angry as air filled It's lungs, it was covered in many different liquids and had a good pair of lungs.
-The nurses washed and packed the baby in a soft blanket before handing it to you, soon after the birth, you found out it's gender. A beautiful baby boy.
-You leaned back with your baby in your arms, his cries quietly calming down as soft coos came out of his mouth. Even if it hurt it was worth it.
•Some time later•
- Inko sat in a chair close to the bed where you were laying on sleeping, her peaceful snores echoing thought the room.
-Suddenly, a loud phone call was heard coming from Inko's phone placed on the table next to where she was sitting. The contact calling her was named as "my sweet munchkin" which you chuckled at, it was of course your beloved husband.
-But unfortunately the loud ringing woke up your baby, his face scrunching up before beginning to wail loudly. Inko picked up the phone and answered with a little "Hello?"
-Izukus panicked voice could be heard in the background, talking about how he was on his way to the hospital and asking if you were fine. It made you snicker.
-When he arrived to your room he couldn't help but fall to his knees crying happy tears when he saw the baby, your sons eyes were green while he had your hair color. It was everything izuku wanted.
-He moved closer to where you sat, gently picking the baby out of your arms to hold his son himself. He sniffled as he buried his face into your shoulder.
This was his happiest day of his life
Comment If you want me to do more characters!:)
hii, can I request a katsuki x reader. where the reader is always sleeping but still keeps up with everyone/thing.
Hii! Absolutely, that sounds like a super cute and fun dynamic—lazy but secretly competent reader♡
Katsuki Bakugou didn’t understand how you did it.
Every time he turned around, you were curled up somewhere: on the common room couch, under a shady tree, in a sunny patch on the roof, halfway under a desk in class—you were like some kind of professional napper. The class had started placing bets on how many hours of the day you'd spend asleep.
What baffled him the most, though, was that you somehow never fell behind.
He’d catch you with your head down during strategy lessons, but when Aizawa asked you a question, you'd snap awake and answer it perfectly, eyes half-lidded like you were still halfway in a dream. You aced surprise pop quizzes. You dodged blows like you had precognitive reflexes. You turned in reports early.
And it infuriated him.
“How the hell do you know what’s going on when you’re always passed the fuck out?” he snapped one day, as you blinked slowly up at him from the dorm lounge sofa, still wrapped like a burrito in your blanket.
“Hmm?” you mumbled, voice thick with sleep. “I’ve got good ears… and Denki talks so loud.”
He stared at you, jaw tight. “That’s it?”
You yawned, then smiled lazily. “Also, I listen when I’m asleep.”
“That’s not a real thing.”
“Is for me,” you murmured, then gave a little stretch that somehow annoyed and fascinated him at the same time. “You worried I’ll surpass you in my dreams, Bakugou?”
His eye twitched. “I’ll blow you to hell in your dreams if you keep talkin’ like that.”
You chuckled and rolled over, pulling the blanket higher. “Cool. Just wake me up first.”
That damn smirk stayed in his head the rest of the day. And the next. And maybe a few after that.

Part 12 of the “Knock First, Damn It!” Series
---
It started in health class.
You got the warning note ahead of time. A little permission slip in Hana’s backpack that read:
> “This week, we will be viewing a short educational film on childbirth.”
You signed it.
Bakugo signed it too—then added “Godspeed” in the corner.

DAY OF THE VIDEO: 2:43 PM, SCHOOL HEALTH CLASS
Haruki (13) and Hana (12) sat side-by-side, trying to act like this was fine.
A projector flickered on.
A chipper narrator voice began:
> “Today, we’ll be learning about the miracle of life.”
It started out easy. Cute cartoon animations. Uplifting music.
Then it switched.
REAL FOOTAGE.
A woman. Labor. Screaming.
Close-ups. Angles that no one was ready for.
A head emerging where heads should not.
Haruki’s jaw dropped.
Hana gripped her desk like it was a lifeline.
Someone in the back whispered, “Is that LEGAL?!”
The video didn’t stop.
Tears. Blood. One midwife yelling, “ALMOST THERE!”
Hana went pale. “Why is she still screaming?! Why is it still coming out?!”
Haruki looked horrified. “There’s shoulders?!”
Another kid fainted.
By the time it ended, no one clapped. No one spoke.
The lights came on.
Silence.
Existential dread.
The teacher cheerfully asked, “Any questions?”
Haruki slowly raised a hand. “Yeah. Um. Can we take our moms out to dinner or something?”
---
LATER THAT NIGHT
You were cooking when the kids walked into the kitchen, eyes wide, forever changed.
Haruki walked up and hugged you. Full-body. Long. With meaning.
“…You okay?” you asked.
“You did that for me,” he whispered like a cult convert. “You’re a superhero.”
You blinked. “What… did they show you?”
“Everything.” Hana said, voice flat.
Bakugo peeked around the corner. “So. You saw it, huh?”
Haruki nodded slowly. “Dad.”
“Yeah?”
“…Did you WATCH Mom go through that?”
Bakugo took a long sip of tea. “Front row. Got hit in the face with a piece of placenta.”
Hana gagged.
Haruki looked like he was going to cry again. “I can’t believe you survived that.”
You smiled. “It’s part of the job.”
Haruki saluted. “Respectfully? I will never raise my voice at you again. Ever.”
Bakugo smirked. “I been sayin’ she’s a badass.”
Hana bowed. “I’m gonna do your chores for the week. Just because.”
You nodded like a queen.
“…Also,” Haruki added, “I might be abstinent until I’m thirty.”
Bakugo fist-pumped behind you.
