Hi, my name is Mosab , and Iβm from Gaza. Life here has been harder than I could ever imagine, but today Iβm sharing my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us so much strength.
This journey hasnβt been easy. The war has taken 25 family members from usβ25 beautiful souls we loved deeply. Their laughter, their presence, their loveβ¦ all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.
Our Journey So Far
When I first reached out, I couldnβt have imagined weβd make it this far. Your support has been a light in these difficult times, and we are so deeply grateful for every single contribution.
But the road ahead is still challenging. Every day, weβre reminded of how much weβve lost and how much we still need to rebuild.
Hereβs what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now:
π Safety: The uncertainty of tomorrow weighs heavily on us.
π’ Loss: The absence of the 25 family members weβve lost is a pain we carry every moment.
π Dreams on Hold: The future feels so far away when survival takes all our strength.
How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line
Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference:
$5 might not seem like much, but it could mean a meal, clean water, or a tiny bit of hope for my family.
Canβt donate? Reblog this post to help us reach someone who can. Every share matters more than you know.
Why Your Support Matters
Your kindness isnβt just about helping us meet our goalβitβs about reminding us that weβre not alone in this fight. Itβs about hope. Itβs about survival. And itβs about giving my family a chance to rebuild our lives, even in the face of unimaginable loss.
Thank you for helping us get this far. Your generosity and compassion have already brought us closer to a better tomorrow, and for that, Iβm endlessly grateful.
With all my love and gratitude,
Mosab and Family β€οΈ

Dear friends and compassionate supporters,
This is Eman Zaqout, from Occupied Gaza, Palestine. I am a Biotechnologist ,π©Έπ and scientific researcher contacting you at a really desperate moment.
I am seeking your assistance to raise funds for saving our lives, facing the starvation in Gaza and help me achieve my doctoral degree dream after being awarded OWSD PhD Fellowship for inspirational women.ππ©βπ
Just like any motivated and loving life woman, and for years, I poured my heart and soul into my work at Al-Shifa Hospital and Turkish Palestinian Friendship Hospital, as Biotechnology Specialist serving cancer patients with compassion and skill.πͺπ€

[ photos of Al-Shifa Hospital before and after the IDF destruction]
I also gave medical lectures to students at different universities and training centers in Gazaπβ
As a result of my outstanding grades in my study and the excellent performance in my job, I have been a holder of different scholarship and I am active participant in many research visits and scientific missions. π©βπ¬The last scholarship as at McGill University in Canada three months ago before the starting of the genocide in Gaza.π₯
My life changed dramatically when Israeli military launched a sweeping war against Gaza. My home and our neighborhood in the North have been destroyed along with our belongings and precious memories early in this crisis.ππ
My job and my husband's job are gone. Israeli military forced us to evacuate from the north Gaza to the south where they claimed it would be the safe zone but it is not at all. Our sweet home and neighborhood have been destroyed.
Forced to flee with nothing but the clothes on our backs, today, we find ourselves sheltering in a displacement camp lacking access to sanitation, medical supplies, food and drinkable water.Β I will not talk a lot about the dire and unbearable life we have to go through, as no word can express it fairlyπ
The good news in the midst of this tragedy, that I am one of the 22 women from the developing world who have been awarded OWSD- PhD fellowship to pursue my PhD study in Malaysiaππͺ. But now I am stuck in Gaza unable to achieve my dream because Israeli army has occupied and closed all the border crossings ππ
Meet 22 fellows awarded OWSD PhD fellowship
This genocide has been more than a year of hell and horror. We have reached a point where there is no hope left for us here in Gaza, where we are unfortunately just waiting for our turn to die.
I refuse to succumb to despair, holding on to the belief that brighter days lie ahead.
With your kindness and generosityπ₯Ί, I hope to survive the genocide and reclaim the path to achieving my doctorate ππ©Έ
Your compassionate aid would mean the world to me and my family.π₯Ίπβ€π΅πΈβ

Hello, my name is Rola, and I am a mother of two children living in the Gaza Strip. Our lives were once filled with love, laughter, and dreams for the future. But everything changed on October 7th, when the war shattered not only our home but our entire world.
That morning, my family and I were enjoying coffee together on the balcony. Out of nowhere, an explosion erupted, shaking our home violently. My husband and son ran for cover, falling over each other in panic, while I stood frozen, still holding my cup, unable to process the chaos around me. When I looked out the window, I saw that our neighborβs house, once filled with life, had been reduced to rubble. Ambulances rushed to the scene as people scrambled to rescue the injured and pull bodies from the debris.
The bombings didnβt stop. At night, the rain poured heavily, and the cold seeped into our bones. I stayed awake, covering my children to keep them warm and praying for their safety. But safety is an illusion here. Another explosion shattered the night, and our neighborsβ home was destroyed. Their children, who had been sleeping peacefully under a blanket, were found lifeless, their cover soaked in blood.
I looked at my children with tears in my eyes and thought, How can I protect you? We had to flee our home with nothing but the clothes on our backs. We left behind my childrenβs toys, their clothes, and their beautiful bedroom. Everything we had worked so hard to build is gone.
Our Current Reality Now, we are displaced and living in a nightmare. Food is scarce, and prices are unimaginably highβ$10 for a kilo of sugar! The fear of death hangs over us constantly. My children deserve a life of joy and hope, not one defined by fear and loss. Why canβt we live like everyone elseβgo to work, visit family, and watch our children play in safety? Why do our children have to grow up surrounded by death and destruction?
How You Can Help I am pleading for your kindness to help us rebuild our lives. We need your support to: π Rebuild our home, so my children can feel safe again. π Evacuate from Gaza, seeking a future where my family can live with dignity. π©Ί Provide urgent medical care for my children, who need protection from this nightmare.
Even the smallest donation can make a difference. If you canβt donate, please share my story. Every share brings us closer to hope.
What Your Support Means Your kindness is not just about helping us survive; itβs about giving us a chance to dream again. To rebuild what weβve lost and to ensure my children have a future filled with possibilities, not fear.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your support means the world to us. Letβs work together to rebuild hope, one step at a time.

Hello, my name is Jaber Mohammad Al-Dahdouh. Iβm 13 years old, and Iβm sharing my story of how war has taken everything from my family and me ππ.
I grew up in northern Gaza, where we lived a life of comfort and love ππ , all thanks to my mother, Maysaa β€οΈ, who has a heart condition π, and my father, who worked hard to provide a bright future for us ππ¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦. My siblingsβShabaan, Hanan, Ahmed, and my youngest sister Ameera, our little darling π§πβwere my closest friends, and we shared dreams π, laughter π, and plans for a life full of hope π β¨.
I was a student π at the Rosary Sisters School, part of the Union of Churches. My school meant so much to me; it was more than a building π«. It was my second home π‘, a place where I felt safe and happy ππ, surrounded by friends and childhood laughter π¦π§π«.
But in a single moment, our lives were turned upside down ππ’. The war destroyed our home π π₯ and my beloved school π«π, and we were forced to flee south under heavy bombing π£π₯π¨. We took refuge in the Nuseirat area, hoping to find safety π€². Yet even there, we were not spared; fighter jets bombed βοΈπ₯ the very place where we had sought shelter. I witnessed family members being taken from us in that attack ποΈπ.
I share my story today as a child who has lost almost everything: my home π π, my school π«πͺοΈ, family members π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ποΈ, and even my dreams π . I am reaching out not only to share the pain π but to search for a glimmer of hope π to help rebuild our lives.
I humbly ask for your support π€²π to help me and my family through this tragedy ποΈ. My mother, Maysaa, is unwell with a heart condition π, and my remaining siblings and I need your support to rebuild from the devastation ππ. Your donations could be the only chance to restore a part of our hope π―οΈπ and enable me to build a new future from the rubble π‘β¨.
Thank you for your kindness and support β€οΈππ·.
