Today in Drama class I was made a capitain of a team bc I'm quiet and had to choose the people for my group. I didn't know any of their names, so I got a panick attack. Fun times.

since this post has gone around, I feel like I should clarify that this was not an attempt to evangelize about all the good ML can do in the right applications. This is me complaining that people are funding ML to "save lives" or whatever instead of them paying me to prove things about algorithms no one will ever implement or make a bot to play magic the gathering or some other cool shit. computers were never meant to help the world, they exist as a complicated form of wireheading for a particular kind of autist. which includes me
