omg love the pfp đ€
Oh my God, another babygirl Gi-hun enthusiast?! I absolutely love yours too! The way a middle-aged man can radiate that kind of energy in a single photograph is both baffling and utterly captivating.
Love this idea, but picture this: what if it all happens right after the failed rebellion, but before Jung-bae gets killed? So, In-ho, in full Front Man mode, is in the middle of his grand, dramatic speech. Heâs all like, âDid you enjoy playing the hero, Player 456?â whenâsplashâsuddenly, both of them look down and realize Gi-hunâs breeches are completely soaked.
Cue the awkward silence.
Gi-hun, clearly in pain, is trying to figure out how heâs suddenly in this situation. Meanwhile, Jung-bae, who is totally baffled by what just happened, looks at Gi-hun and just deadpans, âAre you... pregnant???â
Gi-hun, looking utterly done with everything at this point, glares at him and snaps, âNo, Iâm too old for that shit.â
In-ho, under his mask, is having a full-on meltdown, breathing erratically like heâs about to faint. Heâs trying to stay composed, but this? This is beyond him.
Jung-bae, still processing, is just like, âBro, youâre obviously pregnant! And in labor now!â Meanwhile, Gi-hunâs holding his stomach like he might die, and In-ho's mentally just spiraling.
Finally, In-ho snaps at the guards to escort Jung-bae back to the dormitory and to bring the doctor for Gi-hun, who, despite now being in active labor, still thinks the idea of him being pregnant is preposterous and will continue to do so until he is holding his newborn son.
So I've seen a number of anons bring up potential Gi-hun pregnant during the second games scenarios, but I think for maximum comedy he should have zero idea he is pregnant and randomly go into labor either during or in between one of the games.
Gi-hun, during the search for the Frontman, slept with "Young-il" nine months before, who claimed he was grieving the death of his wife and unborn child. Really, In-ho wanted to see Gi-hun, and one thing led to another. So when they "run into each other" at the second games, it seems like a massive coincidence.
Gi-hun has been displaying some strange symptoms like nausea and stomach pains and the occasional odd food craving that he has dismissed because of his stubbornness and determination to stop the games. Plus, the thought that he is pregnant just never even occurs to him because he is not showing because he has not eaten much or rested and simply because he believes he is far too old to worry about such things anymore. So when his waters break at the second games, it is a big "what the f*ck" moment for all parties.
I would love to imagine how In-ho reacts, but I have already taken up a lot of space đ
this is soo gihun đđđđ this would definitely happen to him vnienkgv
sometimes he feels some fluttering in his stomach but he just thinks it's something bad he ate, neverming that he never actually eats anything đ
i'm trying to think of the funniest moment he could go into labor and it's either as he is about to vote on the games or when they are playing mingle or the pentathlon.
let's say it's during mingle.
they have just crammed ten of themselves into the room and the shaman is yelling like a maniac and inho is staring creepily at gihun and gihun is bent over, clutching his stomach and watching the remaining players be gunned down outside.
his abdomen is cramping and his hips and lower back ache really back but he thinks it's the physical stress of the game and the result of not eating anything while being nauseous all the time. again, pregnancy flies right over his head because he. is. old.
the labour is one of those that is super quick!
gihun is still watching through the door slit when he feels something wet down his legs and he looks down to find his pants are wet.... daeho of course, would ask if he is okay and jungbae would chuckle that he peed his pants but gihun is just horrified and geumja is like "that doens't look like pee đ€š"
and gihun curls up in pain, holding his abdomen and inho is like "are u pregnant? đ" and gihun says no, that's impossible... except that they had sex nine months. his contractions are worse and everyone is freaking out and the door won't open!!!! and inho feels like he is about to pass out bc what do u mean he's having another kid????
gihun has the baby right in that room, there isn't even time to get anyone out. junhee has a lovely preview of herself within the following month and daeho can't look gihun in the eye bc he's seen ALL of him. jungbae immediately claims to be the baby's fav uncle and geumja is admonishing gihun for not noticing that he is pregnant. of course, hyunju, our queen, held gihun's hand through the whole thing and let him yell at anyone he wanted, particularly inho đ„°
OR - he has the baby during the night while everyone is in the dormitory asleep
Here is the fifth chapter. Oopsie daisy! Looks like the muses had their say, and it turns out that the evil 2012 iteration of Leonardo is basically just the Rise version:
Hello everyone!
I am so excited to share my first work in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fandom with you! While I am a huge fan of the 2003 iteration, I have chosen to set this story in the 2012 iteration, as it fits best with the storyline I have envisioned. But do not worryâif you enjoy this, I will be posting a story set in the 2003 universe later on, so stay tuned!
This story is a loose adaptation of the City Fall arc from the IDW comics, tailored to fit the 2012 cartoon's setting. Here is the link and summary:
Title: Little Dark Age
Summary: After a devastating defeat by the Shredder during the Kraang invasion, Leonardo is captured and subjected to the dark machinations of the witch Kitsune. Bewitched and scarred, Leonardo is made to believe that the Hamato Clan is the architect of his suffering, convinced they are responsible for years of psychological and physical abuse. When Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo return to New York, they are horrified to find their presumed-dead brother now a vengeful and far more powerful adversary as the chunin of the Foot Clan.

Stop, because this has actually taken over my mind.
I imagine Gi-hun as a divorced, gambling-addicted cleaner at the opera house, living there while his daughter trains in ballet at the dormitory. Heâs worked there for years, long enough to start believing in the so-called Front Manâespecially since said ghost has been giving him impromptu singing lessons.
Gi-hun canât deny that ever since the Front Man took an interest in him, most of his gambling debts have been conveniently forgotten by those he owed them to. Some creditors have even mysteriously disappeared.
One day, disaster strikes. The prima donna refuses to sing after yet another sabotage by the opera ghostâthis time, right in front of the new owner of the opera house, the Recruiter. To make matters worse, a new benefactor has arrived: Cho Sang-woo.
Gi-hunâs childhood best friend.
Sang-woo doesnât recognize Gi-hun at firstâjust a cleaner on stage, sweeping up the aftermath of yet another accident. But when it becomes clear that the opera will have to cancel its performance (and refund an audience they canât afford to lose), Jung-bae, the stage manage who got Gi-hun the job years ago, makes an outrageous suggestion: let Gi-hun sing.
Gi-hun nearly spits out his drink. Everyone laughs. The idea is ridiculous. Him? The starring role?
But thenâhe sings.
And the laughter stops.
Before he can protest, the costumers are hauling him backstage, fitting him into elaborate robes, combing his hair, shaving his face. By the time he looks in the mirror, he barely recognizes himself. He isnât just a cleaner anymore.
That night, as Gi-hun steps onto the stage, Sang-woo recognizes the voice before he recognizes the man. The performance stuns the audience, and afterward, Sang-woo finds Gi-hun in his dressing room, inviting him to dinner. The invitation feels surrealâtoo fine, too polished. The luxury, the crisp new clothesâitâs everything Gi-hun ever wanted.
But something about it feels wrong.
Later, a letter arrives. Not from Sang-woo.
From the Front Man, the opera ghost.
The signature?
A symbol.
ăâłâĄ
Before Gi-hun can make sense of it, he is summoned.
This time, not to the stage.
To the depths beneath the opera house.
Where the Front Man waits.
i dont know if this is too niche but then again tumblr never fails to surprise me so⊠hear me out on this????? i???? kinda need to write this au asap because the poto dynamic with 457 is actually crazy
the phantom is the og masked yearner i fear⊠he walked so inho could run
also the idea of the phantom (inho) being shorter than christine (gihun) has me giggling a little icl
Stoppppp! I swear, every time I mention rewatching the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series with my father, I come back with some wild revelation thanks to his uncanny television-watching skills. Seriously, this man is either psychic or just way too good at predicting plot twists. And the best (worst?) part is, he always gets this smug, âI know something you donât knowâ grin.
So, when we hit season fiveâthe one that is kinda the lost season that not even all the hardcore Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans have seenâhe was absolutely certain he knew a big twist that was coming. He was practically vibrating with excitement, and I finally caved and asked him what he thought was going to happen.
And what he said? Ten times better than what we actually got.
Okay, so you know how Leonardo mirrors the real Oroku Saki in the flashbacks and how he eventually returns as a demon? My father thought Leonardo was going to become a demon himself to defeat Demon Shredder and save his brothers.
Let me repeat that: Leonardo, our honorable, calm, reassuring blue turtle, becoming a literal demon.
Like, okay. Leonardo fans of all Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle iterations? We live for horrible, soul-crushing angst, right? But this? This right here? I am chewing on fiber glass right now. I did not know I needed this concept until now, but suddenly, I NEED it.
do NAWT watch alien 3 unless u wanna stare at brown walls for 2 1/2 hours
Gihun, finding out Youngil is actually alive and is the Frontman: You know what? Next time I join the games Iâm gonna wear lipstick and a dress-
Inho: ???
Gihun: -because I like to look pretty when I get FUCKED.
No because I am the niche. Or maybe the niche was made for me. Honestly, what am I even learning in college if I cannot even articulate this properly?
AnywayâI am obsessed with the Star Wars prequels and Squid Game, and when I say I have been thinking about this exact crossover too?? I am losing it. I need to write this immediately. They really do have so many parallels and both pairings make me want to sob đ
In-ho as Anakin | Vader and Gi-hun as Padmé? The emotional devastation. The tragedy. The drama. And now I cannot stop thinking about who the rest of the cast would be in this AU. It is over for me. I have no choice but to write this.
this is so incredibly niche, but i don't even care anymore.
inhun and anidala, as couples and as separate people, have quite a few parallels, and i need to talk abt them.
the way that inho's front man outfit and the darth vader suit are similar. a mask hiding their faces, modifying their voices, making them seem unhuman with its features. the way that both suits set them apart from the other workers and the way they completely hide the person beneath it.
inho and anakin both being on the "right" side, a cop and a jedi. people who protect others, who should be a positive force in the world. but both the police and the jedi have a lot of problems in how they can intervene during certain situations.
both of them wanted to save their pregnant wives and both failed, with anakin believing both padmé and their child died, while inho's actually passed away.
they both have an older man who serves as a mentor and introduces them to the dark world they will soon be a driving force in (palpatine with the sith, and ilnam with the games). in both cases, anakin and inho are the successors when said mentors die.
anakin tried to recruit luke to the dark side, and inho tried to recruit junho to join the games.
padmé and gihun are both idealists who sacrificed their personal lives to make the world a better place. they are protectors and nurturers.
padmé accepts the role of senator because she needs to try to change the current status quo, and gihun pursues those who are being the games to bring them to justice for what they have done.
gihun watches as the man he loves becomes unhinged and cruel (sangwoo), and the same happens to padmé as she witnesses anakin's descent into madness. both plead with said men to turn back, and both almost die at the hands of these men.
padmé and gihun both thrive for justice and for those who harm others to be brought down, and they are both key players in trying to destitute a power-hungry leader (padmé creating the rebel alliance against palpatine and gihun leading the revolt against the front man).
and, finally, the speech anakin gives padmé in aotc:
From the moment I met you, all those years ago, not a day has gone by when I haven't thought of you. And now that I'm with you again... I'm in agony. The closer I get to you, the worse it gets. The thought of not being with you- I can't breath. I'm haunted by the kiss that you should never have given me. My heart is beating... hoping that kiss will not become a scar. You are in my very soul, tormenting me... what can I do?- I will do anything you ask. ...If you are suffering as much as I am, please, tell me.
and later on, padmé's response:
I'm not afraid to die. I've been dying a little bit each day since you came back into my life. [...] I love you. [...] I think our lives are about to be destroyed anyway. I truly... deeply... love you and before we die I want you to know.
these are so inhun coded to me đ©
inho can't stop thinking about gihun after first seeing him yell at the cameras abt deok-su killing that player (for me, this was when inho's fascination with gihun began), and now that gihun is near him again, he can't breath, haunted by the friendship and camaraderie and love gihun handed him when he was "youngil".
and gihun loves inho, even as his life is being destroyed around him. he doesn't want to love him but he does, so much. he's not scared of dying, he's scared of his feelings for inho, of how much he loves this seemingly cruel man. and now gihun needs inho to know that everything gihun gave him was real.
