Pinkie pic dump, because she is my favorite. And I have too many screenshots of her.
Why did they make King Sombra such a beautiful twink?
Y'all I fumbled on a thrift store find. I rarely buy my pony toys new- I usually find them second hand and impulsively purchase them, because it's harder to resist when they're right in front of me. So I found this one set of Meet the Main 6 at a second-hand store. They were $5 a piece. $5 a piece for second hand toys should've been the first red flag 🚩BUT THEY WERE RIGHT THERE AND SO CUTE So I paid $30 for the whole set. Today I found the exact same set brand new online for $27. So $3 cheaper (meh not a big deal) but they were BRAND NEW. Verses my Applejack who has suspicious red stains on her 🙁
But alas, I will likely make this mistake again in the future because there's something much more satisfying about buying my ponies irl instead of online. Here's a pic of the mentioned set ⬇️

Chrysalis appreciation post because her design is just so scrumptious
Screenshots from S8 E13 “The Mean 6”
That single episode doesn't define Chrysalis as a character, though. If you don't like her then you don't have to like her 🤷
I enjoy her as a character and moreover as a villain because out of all the villains we know of, she was the most justified. She is a creature who feeds on love. For as long as she has known, her and her give survived solely on feeding off of other creatures love. When she was pretending to be Princess Cadence at her wedding, during "This Day Aria", she said "no I do not love the groom, in my heart there is no room". In my eyes, it seems like she's a queen who was doing her best to provide for an entire colony in the only way she has ever known. As her character progresses through the series, we see her succumb to the loneliness of losing her hive. This leads her to "talk to logs alone in the woods". But she doesn't stay like that. When we see her with Lord Tirek and Cozy Glow, she is a complex character with more personality. Battling between her inherent hatred for friendship and the uneasy yet steadily growing relationship she has with Tirek and Cozy Glow. We see her do silly dances, be sarcastic, be afraid and angry, be vulnerable and so much more. We see her exude mass amounts of confidence while still being put in place by Grogar, where she cowers at his feet. Her "going insane" in that episode did not define her character. So yes, I think she's a pretty epic villain.
Chrysalis I love U (the way she’s written is so fun. A pretty epic villain tbh)
Tree hugger and Fluttershy smoke together and no one can change my mind. Tree Hugger is a pothead and Fluttershy smokes occasionally.
“Fluttershy Leans In” (S7, E5) is one of my favorite Fluttershy-centered episodes. This episode really shows us her character growth and how she has gained the ability to assert herself when it really matters.
As we’re all well aware, she is the element of kindness. In previous episodes, we saw her be a total push over and doormat for whoever wanted her to be in an attempt to remain kind. But she worked on this through the seasons, like how she learned that saying no can be very important in being truly kind in the episode with the Breezies. We also saw her work on her assertiveness during Iron Will’s workshop episode. What makes “Fluttershy Leans In” so intriguing to me is that we see these lessons truly come together as Fluttershy attempts to clearly communicate her vision as she builds a reservation for the animals. When the contractors she hired ignores her desires, she eventually snaps and tells them that they’ve done the exact opposite of what she wanted and that she wouldn’t have them working for her anymore. I absolutely LOVE that she stood up for herself. I also love that it’s connected to the animals, which makes her more confident in what she has to say. Fluttershy has come so far and I think her character growth was written really well.
