Behold! My Shelly. A blorbo that I can’t quite seem to shake free from. She’s an assertive, sign-spoken tentacle first thought up in a Splatoon AU, but I’ve found that the idea of a character that is literally an elastic noodle fits almost everywhere. Shelly’s current hobby is janitorial duty between bouts at fighting arenas; and while she doesn’t usually make the messes that she cleans, she’s not afraid to mop the floor with someone’s face.

Here is a Shelly who has become wise in the ways of the broom

The inspiration behind the little bandana is the Clean copy ability. She got so good at being a janitor, that she earned the powers of a broom hatter (The ally wears a bandana on its head). Now, she can pull all sorts of cleaning tools from inside her shell, and sweep up any mess: even flames and fissures! :3c

Thank you for the mention, but I want to take a moment to highlight @torchrandom ‘s efforts. While I am responsible for the art for the two currencies, I am responsible for only the empty vial used in the items (thus explaining the mix of art styles). Random however, has been one of our first beta-testers and has been consistently providing us helpful feedback to make Kirby-OC-Fighting-Tournament as amazing as everyone deserves. Their recent efforts have included improving our character cards and other UI elements to make them more visually appealing. Torch has been so supportive and helpful, we even try to remind them they’ve been a volunteer and shouldn’t stress over how fast they can work. We’ve been encouraging everyone to take breaks as needed for their health and well-being. Thank you so much, Torchrandom, for what you have done, and continue to do in support of our project!

Please keep this in mind for when you want to send your applications for the Official Tournament. They'll be open in the beginning of April. The main tournament will be held sometime in May.

Got bored, made a Kirby OC

Her name is Exorsist Waddle Dee, hired shortly after Forgotten Land as Dedede's personal exorsist for obvious reasons.

She's mildly deranged because of her profession + being friends with the Jambastard/aff {Hyness}, and she really likes bugs

I’ve been delighted to have the chance to work with @torchrandom on all of these items. We’d take some inspirations, and they would use their beautiful art style to make something special. As the finishing touch, I would use my wordsmithing skills to tell the story these items and their inspirations are trying to convey. I have enjoyed the time I spent working to get these decorations together.

However…

We don’t think we’re gonna stop. 😅

Look forward to seeing a few more tournament items, some boss items (Oh yeah, I got a fun Minigame where you challenge a boss for the chance to leave your mark on our community. Maybe even different bosses 🤫) and we might make “item skins” for different themes when we feel bored 🤭

A territorial gummy candy shaped like a… Squishy? It looks as if it was plucked from a dream filled with delicious pastries; although it does seem to disappear into jam when given the chance. Eating one will guarantee you to slip out of any tight spot you find yourself in.

Candy Lore:

An excited candy: wrapped like a bow. Some people say the excitement of getting to unwrap it is so potent, you’ll be running around the room for hours. It has such a delightful little sweetness, you’ll feel refreshed in no time at all!
