I've gotta ramble about The World Machine from OneShot or else I'll go MAD! Stupid obsessed rant about a fictional character below

As much as I miss Niko, I sort of miss The World Machine more. Niko's story is complete, they are home, safe, and sound, with their mother, eating pancakes, enjoying the wheat fields, etc. We don't see much of The World Machine after Solstice. We can replay OneShot, sure, using TWM's projected body of Niko as a puppet to play through a recording of our original journey over and over, but we never truly see The World Machine as they are, as their own person. What they have things they want to do with themselves now, their favorite and least favorite thing, if they want to be called by another name, even. Them, as a person, is never shown to us, the only glimpses being either their sassy and cold normal route depictions, or the one time we see them truly desperate, in Solstice. Do they love us, the Player? Do they harbor resentment towards us? Do they harbor resentment towards the Author for failing to notice either their growing sentience, and if he did know, do they resent the fact their task would be incredibly destructive to their mental state? (I know the Author didn't know, I was saying that from how TWM would probably look at it.) I wish that one day we get a look into their personhood, post-game. To see who they have become, how they feel about the World that they essentially are, or just if they've gotten any better than their initial realization at the end of Solstice, or if they're still in limbo, between hopelessness and the glimmer of hope given to them by Niko, and us. Are they content? Are they happy? I'd like to know one day.

THE WORLD MACHINE!! The World Machine. Not the fandom version that's just Niko but Depressed™️, but the snarky, sassy, clever World Machine we see in the base game. Everyone makes it being depressed it's main trait and it pisses me off! It's so much more than that, and I love it. No one gives it any love for how damn sassy it is in the normal route, it's so funny and the delivery of it's dialogue is so monotone yet snarky and it creates such a lovable character! I wish people would stop just treating it like a Niko reskin when it is so much more. It only even appears like that because it don't have a body, it doesn't even treat the Niko mirror image it uses to communicate in Solstice as it's body, it treats it like a sort of projection or puppet! It's so underutilized despite being the WORLD ITSELF??? And all people do is treat it like Niko 2: Niko is Nik-pressed, and treat it like a child, when it is are ANYTHING BUT??? Don't get me wrong I understand why people are attached to Niko and wonder what they're doing now but they're OKAY. Their arc is finished. They are happy and content. Who KNOWS what The World Machine is still like??? I love it SO MUCH it is my favorite thing EVER

Sometimes, the Messengers get a bit bold and write notes of their own. For starters, they know how the Hunter feels when around certain people(Arianna, Alfred, Gilbert, etc.) and will bring up messages to the Hunter along the lines of "Time for Joy!" whenever they're in the presence of these people.

And then there's the little shippers who will take things a step further and write "Time for Seduction."

"Time for Seduction, Treat Ailing One with care," in the case of Gilbert...

My biggest red flag or cause for concern about myself is my unbridled annoyance directed towards 90% of the OneShot fans specifically on Twitter because it feels like they're all just fans of Niko and think they're "oh so cutie scrunkly scrimblo little bean so me coded!!!" and don't actually like the game or it's characters or even Niko themselves past being the token Cute Main Chatacter™️
