Hello fellow Aziracrowphiles what does your GO obsession have you working on today? I'm a little over halfway through getting all the dialogue from the show. I've been on season 2 episode 3 for about a week, getting every quote from a show like this that has a whole lot of talking is a lot of work 😆😂. 

A useful thing to know about AO3 tags is that they're wrangled by humans. A human being will read your tag, understand what it means*, and then connect that tag in the backend system to other tags that mean the same thing (if there are any)

that's why, for example, the tags

no beta we die like [insert character who dies in canon]

unbeta'd

unbeta-d

un-beta'd

and a million more versions are all searchable and filterable if you just tag one of them. A Tag Wrangler (the job title of a human volunteer who manages AO3 tags) has made sure that AO3 understands that those are all synonyms, so AO3 treats them that way.

When you're tagging your fic, or searching for a fic, or filtering a tag to find or remove works from the list you do not have to use every possible version of a tag. You just need to pick one - unless using more is a stylistic choice you're making, in which case have at it.

*or research what it means - which is why wranglers really appreciate it if you put (OC) behind the name of your original characters so that they don't have to scour every source they can find to see if it's a named background character in canon.

I'm re-reading Sherlock Holmes and re-watching Good Omens for all the teeny tiny bits of goodness so I can know everything possible about my precious little OTPs 💕💕💕

Is the Good Omens fandom being trolled?

Guys, we may have been pranked.

Apparently, there's a British charity thing called Comic Relief / Red Nose Day on BBC in mid/late March, featuring sketches that spoof popular shows and celebrities.

I think there's a pretty good chance that what we're looking at is a skit for Comic Relief, which would explain pretty much everything that's weird about the leaked Edinburgh set – not least the pretty glaring lack of secrecy.

I know it's not as much fun as the wild speculation about what all the off-kilter details from the leaked shoot might mean for S3, but wouldn't it be a bit of a relief if we're just being trolled? And wouldn't it make a *lot* of sense?

My Beatles book collection so far. 35 about the group, 7 about John, 3 about Paul, 2 about Ringo, 5 about McLennon, oops, I mean, Lennon-McCartney 😛, and 1 book about Beatles songs for the harmonica. 

I'm on chapter 33 Oh! Darling and istg if Ian Leslie doesn't mention the Oh! Johnnys I'm going to riot. This guy LISTENS to music, he catches the theme, the meaning, the secret messages of every single note so if he somehow misses that very obvious switch from darling to Johnny and back... Seriously, the Johnnys are screamed in your face, babe.

It goes darling, darling, Johnny, Johnny, darling-- God, I love that song! Grrrr!!

Everybody's like "McBeardy 😍 🥵" meanwhile I'm like yeah yeah the beard's fine but what I love are those squeezable little cheeks, oh my gracious ☺️ They're irresistible.
