I actually wanted to update my Gamejolt account after a long time, but can't login for some reason, so that needs to wait, lel. In the meantime, I wanna update on some small stuff regarding my game here, starting with a lil animated titlescreen, yay. (Ignore the watermark of my screen capture, lel.)
I thought it would look cute and a lil more lively with an animation, even if it's just two frames. qwq
Writing-wise, I'm done with Error's POV of the first act (of three) and am moving onto Ink's POV first act. Also been generally polishing the script here and there whenever my motivation comes back to me. Because it's a side project, the pace is very slow, especially since I was stuck with writer's block for months, so I apologize for those who look forward to it.
Hoping to turn it into a cute lil fun, ghey experience with my OTP, tho. (´。• ᵕ •。`)
I printed your spin off once, just wait until I have the monetary assets and time to try and bind your main or at least make it into a hardcover book.
I bound my favorite Undertale fic, Puzzles might be fun if you tried them by lizardystopia! I'm particularly pleased with the spine - I was sweating thinking about how I could figure out how to fit the fic's name on it, but I'm happy with the solution I came up with :D
Say hi to my little cousin's OC
I might be struggling mentally but I couldn't say no to drawing her little gacha life character.
Update: She's unhappy with it, I am crushed, I will now retire from art and live a secluded life away from society.
last tutorial from september: the comic shots tutorial. when i was a younger more impressionable artist, my favorite comic author said to draw comic panels like frames of a storyboard or a movie. now that i’m older and have my own thoughts, i understand why someone would say something that i feel is frequently so wrong.
originally, i had a big comics tutorial planned, but i’ve decided to break it down into smaller tutorials. comics are all about efficiency because they are so time-consuming. anything that saves the artist time is a relief, so this is simply a reference for quickly determining what kind of basic shot to use and why a basic shot might look “weird” until you give it a simple fix by cropping it differently. in art, rules beg to be broken, so don’t take it as advice you can’t go against. shot choice is very complex, but i’ll save thoughts on that for a later tutorial.
Let your art consume you, that type of thing, not blaming anyone specifically but people keep pulling me out half eaten so I'm neither whole or proud of my work.
Oh and even though I can't sell overseas, just letting the few people who follow me on Tumblr know I'm working on a dress-up standee design of the Sanses where you can attach items and clothes onto a base to make a character or something brand new lol 🫶
Prototype pics prolly coming next month. So I'm gonna be inactive again til then, bye bye 🫡
Ink was... Smaller than intended (Error too, but it was not as noticeable).
