I've brainstormed all of my October prompts and will be writing & posting them all this week, so here's a few summaries (all for my ACCA paracosm)!

For daydreatober day 24, I'm planning on describing the courting rituals from the ACCA universe, so a bit of nonfiction there

For selfshiptober day 22, I planned to write the first time Kal takes off his mask around Kai 😳

For daydreamtober day 12, it'll be a blurb (or longer, depends on my energy levels), we'll be diving into Jamie's backtory!

And for daydreamtober day 19, pure sweet fluff of Kal coming home from a mission to find his two boys cuddled up in his bed.

🖋️ Have you ever found a writer who thinks just like you? If so, who?

I don't think you can fully think like someone, so not really.

I'll give out an author whose thoughts make me think (/vpos) instead: Virginie Despentes. SHe's raw and true, and that can be shocking to some considering what she talks about, but I find it refreshing and necessary. It's honest, it's not sugarcoated, it's real.

As a treat to you and trick to me, here's a fun fact: a few months ago I got my very first Wattpad account back. It has one thing in common with my old notebooks: my first ever documented self-insert.

I had made myself Jack Sparrow's daughter.

The chokehold that fictional man had on 10 to 14 year-old me is wild-

I find this very heartwarming but also this feels so embarrassing to me today despite me not cringing at shit nowadays (self-insert mary-sues are cool, sue me; the only thing I cringe at are creepy street interviewers).

I'll work through the list in order and go as far as I can (within the limits of my body and mind and having fun of course)
