I was going to lament the complete lack of longer fics centered solely on Dipper and Mabel's relationship, before realizing that I have, in fact, read one story like that. However, Dipper was so traumatized he acted pretty different.
This is also the story that convinced me I shouldn't read main character death.
Good news and bad news.
Good news: I finished the next chapter of A Fight To Remember!
Bad news: I want to wait until I've finished the final two chapters to post it.
Potentially good news: I'm going to try and get them finished soon so I can post all three in quick succession, hopefully by the end of the first week of the new year.
Merry one day late Christmas!
Edit: Here's a link to the series I'm talking about: https://archiveofourown.org/series/3995638
Every TV show that goes beyond 3 seasons needs to hire a council of autistic peeps from the fandom. Ya know the ones who have said show among their most special interests, who the studio can pay for them to consult w/ the writers for basic “is this new script consistent with everything we’ve already written and put in universe” type shit.
I’m so serious.
The way shows will miss continuity errors across their own characters’ backstories and fumble cannon details across the years is so frustrating to anyone for whom “cannot turn off details tracking” is a brain default. so basically, pay us to help you, Hollywood 😂
(I guarantee every autistic person who loves a messy show right now and is reading this has a mental list uncontrollably running of the exact errors I mean)
As a note... it showed up in the Billford tags anyway. Oops. ^^;
Oh my goodness
I don't know what to do
I don’t know how I feel about this . . . On one hand, it’s not exactly inaccurate. It technically was about billford. On the other, I don’t want anyone thinking I actually ship them
If I ever say I ship Bill with ANY member of the Pines family, it’s an imposter. Shoot them. Preferably with fire. Lots of fire.

After the war, I want the kids to rot.
I want them to fail living up to their purpose. I want elven society to look upon them with awe and disappointment.
I want them to feel the weight of heroism and ignore it. They may never recover their childhood but, maybe, they can enjoy the beginning of adulthood.
It would start with Sophie. She saved them, saved the entire elven society. So, they’ll ask er to join the council. The question will tear her apart until her family and friends convince her to say no.
She won’t know what to do with herself, how to be something other than the Moonlark. She can wonder her house, helping with the animals and finding who she is without her life in danger. Maybe she’ll pick up a book, find something interesting to research. Eventually she may rejoin the world of politics, with her own policies. She’ll find ways to incorporate even species, even humans.
Dex will go back to Slurps and Burps. Giggle with his dad as they make new medicines and watch his siblings become adults. He can make little technologies that improve their business. Eventually he’ll have an invention that is used in every household.
Biana will design the latest fashion. She never wanted to fight, this has been her dream her entire life.
Keefe will heal. Actually spend time to understand his abilities and utilize them in a way that does not destroy his soul. Maybe he’ll share his way with the younger generation, be the teacher children look up to. (Maybe become principle of Foxfire).
Tam and Linh will look upon their childhood experiences in sorrow. As adults they will learn forgiveness but will never forget what they have gone through. Tam will make sure no child grows up in a household like his own. He’ll teach them how to handle their emotions, work on finding safe homes for everyone. Linh will teach at Exillium. She’ll make it an education to be proud of.
They will all change the world in their own ways. It’s quieter, compared to what was expected, but full of honor. They will not be puppets to the council but learn how to separate from the past and become themselves.
(On a side note, I cannot picture Fitz being anything other than a councilor. I don’t know if he can move on from being the golden boy. But he will be so proud of what his friends and family have become. And he will be a councilor for the people, refusing to continue any ignorant ways)
his outfit arc throughout s2 sends me bc why does this guy just ends up losing more clothes as the season progresses LMAO
i remember Petra saying like "when people are alone for some time, it's not good for their mental health"
oooh she's speaking from experience isn't she...

Ok so like (9.5 spoilers kinda?)
1. I've never understood the amount of hate Fitz gets. Like, yeah, he has flaws, but you know who else does? Literally every other character. Yes, even Keefe, who I love with my entire being. And it's completely fine to not like characters, I've just always felt like he gets a disproportionate amount of hate compared to everyone else.
2. Everyone is suddenly saying they love Alvar after Unravelled??? I understand he's "changed" now or whatever but.. he did so much to help the Neverseen and no amount of pancake-rambling from him will ever make me forget that. Sure, I hate him a little less now that he's settled down, but he's still not lovable (imo) and I thought it was really weird how much Keefe was just chilling with him in 9.5. I understand what Shannon was trying to do there but also.. it just didn't feel right to me. Especially when I see people brushing over all the stuff he did just because he's goofy now. Um.
3. PEOPLE ARE SAYING THEY LOVE ALVAR MORE THAN FITZ??? I get it, you hate Fitz, but.. c'mon..
Also I'd like to clarify that in this post I'm talking about people loving Alvar and excusing his past actions, not his character in itself. I love Vespera's character, I think she's super cool and interesting, but I don't love her.
Anyway, it doesn't really matter because everyone can have their own opinion and that's the beauty of stories, and one of the best things about KOTLC is the huge range of characters, but I just thought I'd share my opinions on it. So yeah, absolutely no hate to these people, I just personally don't get it 😭
Oh cheeseburgers, I lost my keys!
What if instead of cursing we just said random food things
