This is my genuine apology to anybody who's ever asked me if I've watched a movie/show they liked because if some girl was like "no, but I've read the book, I don't really watch tv" all the freaking time I'd be annoyed too

oh the blessing and the curse of having a good film adaptation of a fandom you love

Movies with idiot plots i enjoy:

1. None of them, i find them incredibly frustrating to watch expecially when they take themselves seriously

2. Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure

genuinely starting to believe my theory that being handed 'Batman' or 'Amazing Spider-man' makes even the best writers go insane with power and instantly start producing mid to terrible stories for the duration of their run

ironically Jason Todd also happens to be the Robin who looks the most like Bruce

It’s kind of a constant topic of discussion that the Robins look similar, but what I think is really interesting is the effort the artists put into there designs so that they look similar alone, but totally distinguishable when they’re next to each other. (this doesn’t include steph obviously or damian because he was made to look like Bruce and talia)

Dick, for instance, clearly has the straightest hair as well as lighter eyes than Jason, but darker eyes than Tim (that sounds a bit fickle but trust, you’ll understand when you see the two of them). His nose is also very clearly straighter and narrower than the other two.

Jason, on the other hand easily has the curliest hair out of the three and his eyes are the darkest blue. His nose is also the widest of the three.

Finally Tim who has the waviest (i’m not totally sure how to describe his hair) out of the three. His eyes are also very clearly the lightest and he has a much smaller button nose (this is probably due to his age but it’s still a nice distinction)

I think it’s super interesting how they chose to do this because it allows each Robin to feel like a separate character, but the second they put on the costume they all become the same Robin everyone knows and loves. Idk i just think it’s neat

Concept: an episode of the Justice League cartoon where the MCs get sucked into a 90s teen movie… powers get reset to when they were that age.

I feel like the thing a lot of people get wrong about Bart Allen is that he’s not stupid, he’s not naïve, he’s just, well, impulsive. Like he’s the kind of guy to leap before he looks, not because he doesn’t know he’s supposed to look or because he doesn’t want to look, but because he gets himself so caught up in the act of leaping that he totally forgets to look entirely. And this isn’t a bad thing! Sure it sometimes gets him into trouble, but acting on his base instincts has saved him a ton of times.
