I'm already cooking up some possible threats/fighters/challengers of the fighting pit!
In regards to the Cage fighting 4 Kids fanfic i'm working on.
I just wanted to show this progress for fun, this is just chapter one.
(Help me, the AU has consumed me.)
You are inspiring me to make ✨designs✨
Wait- I have a better idea, make them both cats like Shape Bandit but not have connection with the bandit/mafia group, then they find out about Shape Bandit's object that has links to the group and boom, nice (I dunno if they can be also SP's siblings, but still nice)
I've got like most of my lil Toodlemakers rewrite done but now I gotta do their designs (hardest part), which can take a while depending on motivation, schedules, and references needed. So I figured I'd show my concept of their personalities/roles in the rewrite (they won't be going by the same individual names as the original btw)
Here are my versions of Zigzag and Alphonse from the pilot, I'm now claiming them as OCs.
Something something AU where both Milli and Geo are gods/deities with the powers of creation applied in different ways, but they're still unsupervised/orphan/abandoned children
Rushed drawing cause lazy :P
I've been thinking about making a Team Umizoomi infection AU, so far I've thought of something like "zombie creatures that act like animals and most of them fear humans, but these zombies are actually Milli and Geo's revived ancestors and now they're hungry for flesh". I'm still thinking about some other stuff like how will this zombie infection spread, if it only affects some things but not others, etc. but my question is: should I make the characters act as canon as possible? And would it be kinda funny if the Troublemakers were the ones who started it?
Sharing old art because I just want this concept to be known (I probably made this in 2018 or 2019)
The evolution of Umi
At the time, I was really into wolves, and I thought "what if the Umis evolved from my favorite animal?" And this is how it ended up.
I had notes on this and I'm gonna share them in a small summary:
1- Primas Lupus venandi (primate wolf hunter) aka the first one: werewolf, aggressive
2- Homo rabidus (savage man) aka the second one: half wolf, half human, still aggressive until migration
3- Homo vagus (wandering man) aka the third one: less wolf, more human, less aggressive and more curious
4- Homo dolosus (crafty man) aka fourth one with the grey animal skin: more human, achieved stone age
5- Homo Generosus castus (noble and pure man) aka the fifth one that is almost hidden by the fourth one: fully human, achieved magic mastery
6- Homo Remicus sapiens (gentle and wise man) aka the final one which is actually straight up @chameleoncove's character Umiphus (I really loved the Team Umizoomi designs they made at the time): Umi from nowadays wow :0
If anyone's interested in this concept, feel free to take it, change it, bop it, twist it, whatever! This is really just something that I needed to post because like, it's so cool, the concept (I've been on a spec evo phase and I am loving every single animal and plant, y'all are so creative ;-;/pos)
What I thought his feet would look like (left)
What his feet actually looks like (right)
Like, bro has human feet 💀
Reminder that Doormouse is the only character to canonically have his feet shown
Bro I had the weirdedst dream, it's about, like, Nick Jr live action adaptation and there was Shape bandit from Team Umizoomi and the Dora the explorer gang along with two kids.
All characters were actually animated in their original, cartoony form, but the only character who was "realistic" was Squiddy...
He was dark blue with some orange spots, he had red eyes with yellow iris and slit pupils like a cat, a "mouth" with nothing but vocal chords so he screams when threatened, three "hands" with "fingers" that had holes and he could shoot ink projectiles. Also he could run on land. So he was basically a fucked up octopus + hectapod from Arrival
IMO, I feel like despite being an anthro cat villain (who redeems, then says F it and goes back to being a villain in the Umi Grand Prix episode), Shape Bandit despises the trope where cats are depicted as villains. He especially dislikes when dogs are depicted as heroes and cats the villain. (*cough* Paw patrol *cough)
Shape Bandit has beef with the Paw Patrol this is 100% canon bc I said so
Artist who is kinda obsessed with Team Umizoomi :P (AUs are like treasure to me)
