Please don’t fight with me this is just for personal comfort because finding these characters makes me feel less alone LOL <\3 so of course you are not obligated to agree with me, I just wanted to share how I feel! !!!!!!These are all based on my personal experiences as an autistic person!!!!!!!!

Autistic Espresso headcanons;

I HC Espresso Cookie as autistic for several reasons

His voice;

Espresso is not as emotive nor loud as the other cookies from what I’ve noticed. He does not yell like most others when he uses his ability, and he tends not to have the widest range of vocalizations. Of course, not all autistic people who have this monotonous voice trait (which is seen in some people) have to express no emotion at all, hence why it’s perfectly normal for him to just have a couple (like disgust!) as that is also what I do lol.

He hyperfixiates on his work;

Obvious is obvious, he talks a LOT (whenever he does talk to people) about his work, or brushes people off to go do it. I don’t really need to explain this one much because I think it’s pretty obvious why I feel this way.

Executive dysfunction?

Okay hear me out. Yes, coffee cookies do not need to sleep much (I think the max would be around 2 days before they start to get grumpy, depending on the cookie) BUT as we can see on twitter today, he probably ignores this and works anyway, even if he has reached his limit. I don’t think he notices, personally.

Uncaring and unempathetic tone:

Before you get mad at me for saying that, read on! I am one of the autistic people who has trouble expressing things so I also get this personally lmao. He isn’t unempathetic at all (see after battle scene) BUT he does have a very hard time showing empathy and expresses it much differently than a neurotypical person. Hence why it comes off that he doesn’t care about things.

PERSONAL HEADCANONS- these aren’t evidence based this is just what I think so feel free to completely ignore this ! Just expanding on the idea a little more.

I feel like he stims with his hands more than anything, especially when he’s upset. He doesn’t really have a noticable happy stim, but he does have some negative ones that calm him down a bit.

He prefers dark spaces hence why the lab..? city?? area thing he presumably lives in is dark. Bright lights frustrate and annoy him.

Mmmm, pen clicking.. good sound good feel

Has a very very small range of foods he’ll eat. Very picky eater

Also I think he masks HARD

Very normal about espresso as well. fun addition for this I tried to make him look shorter than my latte doodles from yesterday because he IS lol. She got all the tall genes <3

Getting into Project: Eden’s Garden is funny because the protagonist hates pretty much everyone but also has undeniable chemistry with all of them. Wolfgang? His narratively opposite antagonist with that underlying appeal of “if we weren’t on opposing sides, we could be a power duo” due to their similar talents. Diana? An even more narratively opposite antagonist that he canonically has a soft spot for because she showed him kindness. Eva? The only person he trusted and he said she looked good when she smiled, and just internally gushed about in general.

You think that’s it?? Nope, not even the side characters are safe. Kai? The unexpected option who he becomes roommates with, and who he SHARES THE BED WITH and just so happens to oversleep for the first time in the game when they do?? Desmond, who Damon is so uncharacteristically flustered around it’s not even funny- I don’t think I’ve ever seen Damon give out so many casual compliments about someone.

Genuinely you could make a legit case for almost every student in this game to romance Damon and I’d just be like yeah bro cheers I see it good on ya.
