Me gustaría anunciar que voy a hacer una serie de cómics (y quizás también narraciones) sobre historias que me invento basadas en Star Trek la Serie Original (TOS). Ya tengo el primer "capítulo" (si así puede llamarse) pensado.

I would like to announce that I'm gonna make a comic series (and maybe narrations too) about stories that I invent based on Star Trek the Original Series (TOS). I already have planned the first episode (if it can be called so).

Siento volver a retrasarme en subir las siguientes páginas del cómic 😓. Mi idea, si alguien no se ha dado cuenta, era subir algo cada dos días, e ir turnando el cómic con dibujos random. Y, bueno, hace dos días tocaba el cómic y no lo había acabado aún (en realidad, si me pongo en serio, podría subir cada día el cómic, pero me distraigo con cualquier cosa).

Sorry to be late again in uploading the next pages of the comic 😓. My idea, if anyone hasn't noticed, was to upload something every two days, and rotate the comic with random drawings. Y he visto algunos videojuegos de miedo. Aquí tengo que aclarar algo. No me gusta el terror. Sin embargo, he descubierto dos juegos con una historia estupendísima. Además, tienen sentido científico. Se llaman Man of Medan y Little Hope. Son uno "continuación" del otro. En realidad la historia no tiene nada que ver, pero siguen una trilogía o algo así. La siguiente continuación se estrena este año. No dan mucho miedo, lo único sustos y tensión. Repito, la historia me ha encantado, sobre todo Little Hope. Mi hermana me recomendó también Until Dawn. Este no me ha convencido. Hablo de este juego en otro post, por si alguien lo ha visto jugar a alguien o lo ha jugado. Lo explico aquí.

And I've seen some horror videogames. Here I have to clarify something. I don't like horror. However, I have discovered two games with a great story. Moreover, they make scientific sense. They are called Man of Medan and Little Hope. They are a "continuation" of each other. Actually the story has nothing to do with each other, but they follow a trilogy or something like that. Spain is a monarchical, democratic country, in which the king has no power, he only represents the country on trips abroad when the president cannot go.

So, WE ARE NOT RULED BY KINGS. We are a monarchic country but the crown doesn't have any power. Just because my country has a monarchy doesn't mean it's like the monarchies of 10 centuries ago.

Spain was very influenced by medieval times, that's reflected in the old buildings, but that doesn't mean that we're proud of everything that our country did in that era. If you don't believe it, study some Spanish history.

Last of all, something I don't like is that Spain is only associated with Sevillanas, paella and bullfighting. You are totally wrong. It's something that is part of our culture, but not in all regions. In fact, in my region they don't dance sevillanas and there are hardly any bullfights anymore. About bullfighting, there is a lot of controversy: many Spaniards are in favour and many others are against. I would appreciate it if you would stop adding bullfighting to any post that talks about Spain, if you don't mind.

Obviamente, no es lo mismo color luz (en lo que de basa el dibujo digital) que el color pigmento (en papel). Sé que hay muchos programas que tienen implementado el color pigmento en su programa para imprimir los dibujos, pero en el programa que uso en el móvil no tiene. No sé si es por eso que no capta los colores o directamente es la impresora 😆

Obviously, light colour (on which digital drawing is based) is not the same as pigment colour (on paper). I know that there are many programs that have in their system implemented the pigment colour to print the drawings, but the program I use on my mobile doesn't. I don't know if that's why it doesn't capture the colours or if it's only my printer 😆.

SPONES FIC IN SUMMER HOLIDAYS

El mar Mediterráneo, el calor típico de la zona, la exquisita comida, los lugares llenos de historia medieval, las zonas al aire libre lejos de cualquier otra persona, una casa acogedora a orillas de la playa, deportes de todo tipo, paseos por lugares de ensueño, lugareños carismáticos, una guía contratada por Jim...

The Mediterranean Sea, the typical warmth of the area, the exquisite food, the places full of medieval history, the outdoor areas far away from anyone else, a cosy house by the beach, sports of all kinds, walks in dreamlike places, charismatic locals, a guide hired by Jim...

La tripulación del Enterprise está de vacaciones el mes de agosto. Jim, Spock y McCoy quieren descansar y no tener que preocuparse por nada durante todo un mes, bañarse en el mar, tumbarse en la arena, recorrerse el pueblo y zonas de interés de los alrededores... Como cualquier otro veraneante. Sin embargo, cada día les pasará algo inusual, algunas cosas más raras que otras, unas provocadas por ellos, otras por pura suerte.

The crew of the Enterprise is on holiday in August. Jim, Spock and McCoy want to rest and not have to worry about anything for a whole month, bathe in the sea, lie on the sand, walk around the town and surrounding areas of interest... Just like any other holidaymaker. However, every day something unusual will happen to them, some things stranger than others, some caused by them, others by pure luck.

Mientras tanto, Spock y McCoy tienen algunos momentos en los que se plantean su amistad y unos posibles sentimientos más hondos. Tienen ocasiones a solas en las que intimar y desarrollar esos sentimientos, otras en las que Jim les parecerá la mejor compañía para romper ese incómodo silencio. Pero en las dos coincide algo, están juntos y eso es algo que les gusta. ¿Aquel lugar les ayudará a confesar al otro lo que de verdad sienten?

Meanwhile, Spock and McCoy have some moments where they consider their friendship and possible deeper feelings. They have times alone when they can intimate and develop those feelings, times when Jim will seem like the best company to break that awkward silence. But in both of those situations, they are together and that is something they like. Will that place help them to confess to each other what they really feel?

Spock, McCoy y Kirk se van de vacaciones a un pueblo mediterráneo de la Tierra durante todo el mes de agosto. Cada capítulo es un día de agosto, y el primero es de cómo llegan hasta el pueblo donde van a pasar las vacaciones, después de dejar el Enterprise. Les pasa algo durante el viaje, sobre todo al final. No tengo pensado que este primer capítulo sea muy largo, porque sería algo así como la presentación.

Spock, McCoy and Kirk go on holiday to a Mediterranean village on Earth for the whole month of August. Each episode is a day in August, and the first episode is about how they get to their holiday village after leaving the Enterprise. Something happens to them during the journey, especially at the end. I don't plan to make this first chapter very long, because it would be something like an introduction.

Obviamente no voy a poder acabar todo lo que tengo pensado antes de que acabe agosto. Con suerte acabaré el primer capítulo (tengo demasiadas cosas pensadas que hacer). Es un fic dedicado a las vacaciones de verano, pero es muy largo (o eso tengo pensado). Son 31 capítulos, uno por cada día de agosto. He planeado ya todos los capítulos por encima. Algunos serán más interesantes que otros, algunos tendrán más interacciones de Spones que otros, pero espero que eso no afecte a que a la gente le guste.

It's a fic dedicated to the summer holidays, but it's very long (or so I think). There are 31 chapters, one for each day of August. I've already planned all the chapters a little. Todo el mundo recibiendo y regalando cosas a la gente mientras Spock mira, pensado lo ilógica que es esa fiesta. ¿Por qué es ilógica? Quizás porque él cree que el amor debe desarrollarse todos los días del año, con paciencia y cuidado, y no le encuentra el sentido a mostrarlo en masa en aquel momento.

Everyone receiving and giving things to people while Spock watches, thinking how illogical this party is. Why is it illogical? Maybe because he believes that love should be developed every day of the year, with patience and care, and he doesn't see the point of showing it massively at that moment.

McCoy, por el contrario, quiere enseñarle al vulcaniano que ese día especial se celebra para llevar más allá el amor. No es una simple fiesta que se olvida el día siguiente; es el instante para preguntarse a uno mismo si lo está dando todo a la persona que más quiere. O, por el contrario, para dar el primer paso en una relación.

McCoy, on the other hand, wants to teach the Vulcan that this special day is celebrated to take love further. It's not a simple celebration that is forgotten the next day; it's the moment to ask yourself if you are giving everything to the person you love the most. Or, on the contrary, to take the first step in a relationship.
