Hope you have a good day!
Yan!Leona Kingscholar x GN! reader
Cw- possessive behavior, jealousy, Leona's just a lil ass but when isn't he
A/N: this is super short but took longer to get out bc of school so gah sorry
Your neighbor was one of the first friends you made when you moved into your apartment. They were really kind and you two instantly hit it off. After a few years they honestly felt like family to you.
Whenever you cooked and had too many leftovers they'd get them. They even had a spare key and because they knew your schedule so well they dropped by whenever they knew you were free.
You were oblivious to the romantic feelings that started to grow just thinking it was them being their usual friendly self. Who didn't like this friendly behavior was the house warden you had taken in.
Leona woke up to you no longer in bed. This wasn't unusual behavior since you'd often wake up way before him. The beast man got out of bed and felt something off. A new smell. He didn't like it.
He found the source of the smell, it was all over you and some person he didn't recognize. Leona huffed walking over to you and resting his face into the crook of your neck.
"Morning " You spoke. He didn't properly reply just a mumble as he held onto you possessively. Your neighbor looked at you then him then back at you once more.
"[Name], whose this?" They asked, genuine curiosity lacing their voice. Leona didn't like the way they said your name. All lovey-dovey and sweet. He slightly growled.
"oh this is Leona, the guy I told you about" You replied with an awkward smile. Leona found himself smirking slightly, a small sense of pride washed over him when you mentioned talking about him.
"ooh I see"
"and Leona this is my favorite neighbor!" You introduced, Leona just huffed. He didn't like this guy but he'd live with it.
---
Until he couldn't anymore. Your neighbor was always around. It was so annoying. So desperate for your attention, it was honestly pathetic. They were head over heels for you and you were absolutely oblivious about it.
Leona lazily lounged on the couch recently waking up from a nap. You weren't home yet. Usually you'd already be home by now. His ear twitched when the sound of keys jingling at the door. He went to go greet you at the door.
Except it wasn't you and it was in fact your pesky neighbor. Leona's face turned. It was clear he was annoyed by just their presence.
"oh is [name] not my home?" They asked, holding something in their hands. The beast man wanted to just roll his eyes at their voice.
"No why?" He spoke, venom lacing his words. Your neighbor just awkwardly smiled as the hybrid practically towered over them.
"well I -"
"oh you're here what a nice surprise!" The two's attention found you. You were holding a few bags in your hands.
"[Name]!" your neighbor spoke a genuine smile spreading across their face at your presence. The brunette glared at him before his attention went back onto you.
"let me help" Leona spoke pushing past your neighbor causing them to stumble a bit. You gladly let him take the bags from you. You all made your way into the apartment fully.
Leona placed the bags on your kitchen counter. He basically let out a low growl when he watched your neighbor take your coat for you. Seriously they were such a suck up? Wouldn't matter anyway you were his so no matter how much they tried it wouldn't work.
He worked so hard to get here with you. Not that human who did nothing but be annoying.
Leona grimaced as you and your neighbor chatted away. He couldn't stand it. They were always over, seriously they don't know their place.
"You come over a lot don't you" The beast man spat. Moving behind you.
"I do stop by a few times, yeah" Your neighbor spoke with a shy smile as they turned their attention towards you.
The brunette scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Way more than a few times, don't ya have a life"
You were quick to lightly shove the house warden. "Leona! That's rude" you scolded the man. You could sense how uncomfortable your neighbor seemed.
"Maybe I should go, I have to feed my dog anyway I'll uh catch you later [Name]..." They said awkwardly shifting.
"you go do that" Leona muttered, still loud enough for you both to hear. You gave them an apologetic expression already making a mental note to bring them left overs as an apology.
Once the door shut you turned to Leona with a stern face.
"What is your problem!" You stated, crossing your arms.
"My problem is that they just keep sniffing around the place, around you" He defended, tail twitching.
"Leona they're my friend you can't just be-"
"Friend?" the beast man interrupted, he huffed before continuing "You sure they’re not looking for something more?”
You rolled your eyes. “They’re just a neighbor, Leona. You’re reading too much into it.”
“Am I?” Leona walked closer. He stopped just close enough to not be in your face. “You spend enough time with them; people might start thinking you’re interested.”
“And if I am?” you teased, with a devilish smirk.
His tail flicked sharply. “You’re not.” The low growl in his voice left no room for argument, though he masked it with a smirk of his own. “Because you already have me.” He said a bit softer this time.
You rolled your eyes as he moved closer and lazily rested his head into the crook of your neck

Kalim Al Asim x Fem!Reader
Summary: Kalim realizes he's not the only one who wants your love and attention
Cw- none, just fluff
Word count: 1545
A/N: GAH sorry this took so long I've been so busy with finals; also imma be so fr I basically blacked out when writing this so if it's not perfect again y'all always can leak my address;
Thank y'all sm for 100+ followers already like 🙁 y'all are so cool pls don't explode
Night Naven College was an all-boys school. Always has been. You were the first exception to that. You were the only girl who ended up becoming a student.
When Kalim first met you he never paid mine to that fact. To Kalim you were Just another student ; a new friend to be made. However, after getting closer to you the housewarden couldn't deny the fact you made his chest feel all fuzzy.
He's always surrounding himself with people but you're his favorite person to be around. He will always try and seek you out in a crowd because you were the one who made his heart beat so fast.
He loved the way you'd run a hand through his hair whenever he'd lay on your lap or the fact you were always down with whatever he came up with. How you truly did care for the people around you.
You were perfect in Kalim’s eyes.
Kalim ended up mentioning these feelings to Jamil offhandedly; Which after a little talk with him. He came to the conclusion he liked you. Not just in his usual friendly way either. He was head over heels.
However you being the only girl meant you had many eyes on you no doubt. It's always been that way since you became a student however Kalim only started paying attention to it once he recognized his crush.
He couldn't help the way his chest turned whenever another would give you big puppy eyes or would be overly friendly with you. He didn't get it. You weren't his…yet. So why does he get jealous so easily?
He couldn't blame others for liking you. You were well you. You were smart, kind and pretty, how couldn't they fall for you? He just wished he had all your attention sometimes even if it did feel selfish.
He'd often subconsciously glare at others who linger on you too long. He'd also be quick to kill you closer to him in a crowded area or lead you somewhere else all together just to get your full attention. It was clear to most people he had a thing for you.
Kalim fidgeted and watched as the pink haired boy shyly handed you a bracelet. It was just made out of colorful rubber bands. He could give you something much nicer… but you looked so happy receiving it.
Was it the thought that counted? Is that why you took it and smiled so brightly? Kalim slightly pouted to himself. He felt so uncomfortable. He wasn't used to being jealous. He wanted to be the one to make you smile like that.
The snowy hair bit his lip as he remembered the conversation he and Jamil had a few days earlier.
“You know Kalim you should tell her how you feel, she's not exactly going to be on the market forever you know” Jamil spoke, dusting the shelf that had started to collect dust.
Kalim huffed and groaned. Jamil was right. You weren't going to just be up for grabs forever. But how would he just tell you how he feels…
This was too complicated! Kalim wasn't used to not being able to express how he felt. He wants to tell you that you mean a lot to him. Which he does all the time but he wants you to know he doesn't mean it in the same way he means to his other friends.
He wants you to know you're special, that you're an even brighter star compared to him. Yet he's afraid that he'll mess everything up. What if you don't feel the same way about him? Kalims frown deepened and he sighed, slumping his shoulders.
Kalim played with the bracelet in his hands. Was this good enough? He made it himself with charms that reminded him of you. He didn't register the sound of footsteps approaching behind him.
“Good afternoon Kalim!” your voice rang out. The house warden basically sprung up, a smile spreading across his face upon hearing your voice. He turned and shoved the bracelet into his pocket.
“Hi, name!” He chirped, hugging you tightly. You let out a soft chuckle before wrapping your arms around him as well. He pulled away with a big dopey smile. You tilted your head and looked around.
“Jamil, is he not with you?” you asked. Kalim shook his head. You let out a hum before shrugging lightly. You flashed him a smile causing blood to rush to his cheeks.
“Well it's nice to catch you alone for once you always seem to be around someone, sometimes it's nice when it's just the two of us” you spoke, Kalim’s red eyes watched you.
He couldn't help the way his smile got bigger at your words. He felt the same way; it made his heart leap.
“Yup…just the two of us!” He exclaimed, his voice a little higher in pitch. He stuffed his hands in his pockets, his fingers running over the bracelet. He was about to speak before you cut him off.
“You don't have any more classes today right?” You asked, turning your full attention to the house warden once more. Kalim nodded his head.
“Great, would you mind if I hung out in scarabia with you?” You said with a small tilt of your head.
“No, I wouldn't mind at all!” The snowy hair perked up.
On the walk there it was like Kalim was hyper aware of every guy to look in your direction. It made him feel so bad for feeling so bitter about it but he couldn't help it. Couldn't these guys just mind their own business?
You seemed to take notice of his demeanor being off“You okay, Kalim?” you asked softly, your voice laced with concern. Your hand gently tugging on his sleeve.
Kalim blinked, snapping out of his thoughts. “Huh? Oh! Yeah, I’m fine! Totally fine!” He gave you a wide smile, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes. Odd.
You raised an eyebrow, unconvinced. “Are you sure? You’ve been kind of quiet.”
He swallowed nervously. You knew him too well. “I guess… I’ve just been thinking a lot lately,” he admitted, his voice softer.
You tilted your head, curiosity sparkling in your eyes. “Thinking? About what?”
Kalim hesitated for a moment before taking a deep breath. “I’ve been thinking about… you,” he confessed, his cheeks flushing a deep red. He couldn’t meet your gaze, his eyes glued to the ground.
“And how… you make me really happy.”
His words caught you off guard and you looked up at him. “I make you happy?” you repeated, a small smile tugging at your lips.
Kalim nodded quickly, his usual energy bubbling to the surface despite his nerves. “Yeah! Like, more than anyone else. I love being around you, and I always want to make you smile. But lately, I’ve been feeling… different.”
“And what do you mean by different?” You spoke moving closer to him. Your chest swirling with an …off but comforting feeling.
“Well it's just I… I get all weird whenever other guys start paying attention to you…” He admitted sheepishly. Your grin turned a bit more teasing.
“Awh, sounds like you're jealous,” you teased. His face redder a bit and he looked away.
“I …am” he responded. You weren't expecting him to just openly admit it. You blinked and recollected your thoughts. You cleared your throat before speaking.
“Well that's actually kind of nice… to know you care enough to get jealous over me out of all people” you said, your tone a bit quieter now.
“Well of course I care about you…”
It got quiet for a bit. Neither of you speaking, just watching each other.
Kalim fidgeted with the bracelet still in his pocket, finally pulling it out and holding it out to you. “ Oh I made this for you. I’ve been trying to find the right time to give it to you…"
Your eyes softened as you reached out to take the bracelet, your fingers brushing against his. The charms were small but thoughtful .
“Kalim… it’s beautiful,” you whispered, slipping it onto your wrist.
“Thank y-”
“I-I like you!” he blurted out, his words tumbling over each other in his excitement. “Not just as a friend. I mean… I really really like you. You’re amazing, and I don’t want to keep it to myself anymore.”
Your eyes widened in surprise, but your smile grew even brighter. “Kalim…”
He held his breath, waiting for your response. His heart pounded so loudly he was sure you could hear it.
“I like you too,” you said softly. “I’ve liked you for a while now.”
Kalim’s eyes lit up like fireworks, a beaming grin spreading across his face. “You do? Really?”
You nodded, reaching out to take his hand. “Really. You’re the brightest part of my day, Kalim.”
Unable to contain his excitement, Kalim pulled you into a tight hug, spinning you around. You yelped in surprise.
As he set you down, still holding your hand, he looked at you with a warmth that made your cheeks flush.
“So… does this mean I can be your boyfriend?” he asked with a hopeful grin.
You chuckled softly and nodded. “I’d love that.”
Kalim’s heart soared. He never imagined this moment could feel so perfect. You were his now — and he was yours. Nothing could make him happier.
Jamil would never hear the end of how much he loves his girlfriend.

Summary: EJ appears in your home.
Word count: 3035
“Yeah…”
His mind was going a hundred miles per hour. Every time you spoke in that same damn voice it made me feel crazy.
“Do you always, like er, wear that?” You chuckled light heartedly, commenting on his seemingly identical appearance.
Your words fell on deaf ears. They reached him even making the pointed ears twitch underneath his hood. Yet he didn't respond. His brain conflicted.
He missed you so much but it's not the same. He used to yearn for your voice, to hear it one last time. Now he wanted to rip off his ears to ignore the fact you're actually here and not just a figment of his imagination.
He wish this was just a fucked up joke his twisted mind was playing on him. He didn't want to accept the fact you're here. Because it's not the same. Nothing will be the same.
He's changed. He wants to hold you tell you everything to tell you how fucking sorry he was. How much he missed you, how much he thought of you. You were his only true friend, he never moved on.
Yet he wasn't human. You don't remember what happened that night. You don't remember him at all. So shouldn't he just forget you.
But how could you, how could he when you stood there in front of him, seeking him out. He felt trapped. He didn't like it. Emotions weren't something a monster was supposed to feel.
He was weak and sad.
“Oh sorry, that was offensive” You apologized, snapping him out of his thoughts. He smiled. Why was he smiling?
“No sorry I was just lost in thought, no harm done” He spoke, accent thick. What was he thinking? He could have walked away with you thinking you upset him or something perfect excuse to stay away from you. Yet it's never that simple is it. He wanted to talk to you. Despite every part of him screaming to leave you alone.
You let out a sigh of relief glad you hadn't pissed off this guy. You still were understandably werry of him. You looked up at him and gave him an awkward smile.
“[Name]” A voice called behind you. Hunter awkwardly looked down as he tugged at your sweater. He looked anxious and his black locs fell over his face.
Jack quickly recognized the boy. Hunter was your pride and joy when you were a teen. You took care of him and all his needs. You'd juggle your school along with him. Jack would admire the way you were so put together and responsible at such a young age.
“Oh yeah what's up?” You said turning to the raven hair ruffling his hair making him ease up a bit. Just like you used too. Jack couldn't take his eyes-or lack of, off you.
“Is he one of your friends?” He asked, chipped tooth showing. He looked up at the tall masked man. You patted his head and gave him a reassuring smile.
You looked at Jack then back at Hunter. You definitely wouldn't call this guy your friend. He was still a stranger. A stranger that you feel like you know. Maybe you were just losing it.
While he made you extremely uneasy, every time you spoke with him it felt…natural.
“No me and Mr mask aren't friends, we just keep bumping into each other” You said looking at Jack. The brunette froze. For some reason you looking at him like that made him feel something. It was almost nostalgic.
He realized you were waiting for him to say something. He quickly cleared his throat and nodded his head.
“Mhm…although Is Mr mask necessary” He spoke. Here he was talking to you like it was nothing. Like he was some regular guy. Like he wasn't a murderer, like he hadn't eaten people, like he wasn't part of the reason people were going missing; showing up dead.
He didn't need to be around you. He didn't deserve it. It wasn't right nor fair. You didn't need to deal with him. He caused so much trauma, and you didn't even know it was him. You still sat and smiled at him.
He was selfish. So fucking selfish. Was it so wrong to pretend? At least for a little while…
“Well unless you tell me your name that's what we're going with it” You snickered. Jack would roll his eyes if he had anything.
“Okay you can call me EJ” He stated, crossing his arms. He usually disliked when his roommates would call him EJ or any form of eyeless Jack. It reminded him how he wasn't human anymore. But he couldn't find himself telling you his name.
“Okay well EJ, I'm [name], nice to formally meet you, this is Hunter my younger brother” You smiled up at him. You didn't know why you trusted him so much.
It was like a guy feeling. To just let it happen. You were reckless. This was a stranger, you couldn't ignore the way the feeling of eyes watching you would always find you when he was around. Or deny the way your stomach would twist. How uncomfortable your body and mind seemed to be subconsciously.
“Well I have to finish up some things so, I'll probably see you around. Stay safe!”
“You…too”
—
You laid on the couch in your living room. You were exhausted but couldn't sleep. Hunter had already gone off to bed since he had school in the morning. So you were just left to your own thoughts.
The brown kitten you now called Leona snuggled up in your neck. You brushed against his fur as he purred soundly.
You stared up at the ceiling blankly. The sound of the TV you had on to try and entertain yourself was drowned out by your thoughts.
What was going on with you. Lately you've been having even weirder dreams. So much so you've been avoiding sleep like crazy. You know you needed it. You couldn't function without it.
Yet every time you slept you'd have a dream. A memory. The last one you remember so vividly.
You were in a room. It was dark but familiar. Looked like a dorm. Probably your's. You were in a panic. The way your heart pounded in your ears felt too real.
You remember having one goal. Finding a place to hide. From someone. Something. You could smell blood. It made your skin crawl. You looked for any sign of movement, holding your breath as to not be loud.
You remember hearing the sound of heavy footsteps. A figure stood over you. Looked almost human but it was too tall. It was blurry you couldn't remember what it looked like. You wanted to scream but nothing left your throat in shock.
“Please…”
And then you woke up. Your face scrunched up at the thought. It was just a nightmare yet it felt so real and so familiar. You were convinced it was a memory. Something to do with your past.
Or maybe you were just an insane person whose life has been so distorted you don't know what's reality and what's fiction anymore.
You needed to talk to your therapist. As soon as possible. This was getting out of control.
You signed and rested a hand over your face. You needed sleep. You had to work at the office. The thought made you groan , you could already feel the headache from your coworkers from here.
You needed a day off or something. Maybe you'd take Raven up on her next offer of going out. …Maybe.
You felt your eyes start to flutter shut as the exhaustion of the day caught up with you. Leona let out a yawn and as if on cue you did too.
“Good night little guy”
—
“You know you should be more careful Toby” The man said, weaving the stitch through the shorter brunette’s wound. Toby watched blankly as the demon carefully threaded the needle through his rough skin.
“I k-know “ He huffed, leaning back on the medical bed.
“Seriously this isn't going to heal if you keep popping the stitch” The masked man scolded.
“Ye-yes doc, since wh-hen did you care so m-much anyway, don't tell me you've gone soft on me” Toby teased. Jack paused for a second before continuing.
“You wish, I'm tired of doing it over and over, you need to learn to do it yourself, you guys love being so reckless but don't know how to patch yourselves up” The eyeless demons stated simply.
The brunette huffed and looked to the side. He felt like he needed to talk about something even if he knew Jack was more than content with staying quiet.
“You know y-you keep disa-apppearing lately” He spoke, his hands tapping on his leg.
Jack paused. He had been leaving a lot more lately. Since you came back into his life. He would always tell himself he was scooping out easier prey areas.
He knew that wasn't true. At one point of time it was until last month. He knew he left more often in hopes to see you. He hated that he yearned for your presence so much.
He was doing perfectly fine up until you came back into his life. Maybe it was because you were the only preserved thing from when he was human. So close but always out of reach. He knew the circumstances. He didn't need friends.
That's what he told himself.
“I suppose I have…”
—-
One the count of reckless things Jack has done in the last year this was the most. He narrowed his eyes watching as the police searched the ground from the balcony he was on.
His sharp teeth went into his cheek as he made sure to make himself as small as possible. He needed to find somewhere to hide for a bit.
Granted he could realistically take out them all. He just was not in the proper headspace. He groaned as he leaned against the glass of the sliding glass door.
He'd broken into places before to hunker down. And from the looks of it, whoever lived there wasn't home or was asleep.
He expected to have to break a lock but to his surprise the door was simply…open. Man who ever lived here was really forgetful or a dumbass.
He closed the door behind him as softly as possible. The brunette smelled another animal in the home. He looked around not seeing anything.
He sat on the floor and whipped the blood from off his mask with his sleeve. He ran his tongue across his teeth feeling the sharpness.
The metallic taste of blood still lingered in his mouth. He just ate yet he was still hungry. It was like no matter how much he ate the fire wouldn't die out.
The hooded man’s ears twitched as a meow filled the quiet room. A brown kitten sat in front of him. He blinked before quietly trying to shoo the cat away. This only piqued the kitten's interest more and he moved closer, climbing into Jack's lap.
The demon didn't know what to do and awkwardly picked up the feline and held him away from his body.
Jack placed him down but the kitten only came back playfully nibbling on his fingers. The small creature was undeniably cute but Jack wasn't here to play with a house cat.
The kitten meows again as if begging for attention. The demon sighed and petted the kitten causing him to purr. Friendly cat.
The masked man's ears perked up at the sound of keys jingling. He was quick to get up. Claws subconsciously gripping his scalp. The cat ran over to the door meowing loudly.
He backed up into the Shadows. He didn't want to kill another tonight but sometimes that's just how it goes. Ready to pounce, the door opened.
“Leona!” A familiar voice rang out. His sockets wided. Every part of his body stood still as you stepped more into the apartment too focused on the brown cat for you to notice him.
He couldn't hurt you. Not like he'd ever think of it. He unfortunately had no backbone when it came to you. After all these years that hadn't changed.
“EJ?!?” You yelled almost in a whisper. Your eyebrows furrowed as you picked up Leona in your arms. You swallowed thickly. What the fuck was going on.
EJ was usually creepy but him in your home especially in the dark was just so unsettling. You reasonably were scared and wanted to yell but you also didn't want to wake your brother.
You took in his figure everything about his usual state was ten times creeper. It's like he was taller, more animal-like. Your eyes widened when you noticed the dried blood on his mask.
“Wh-what are you doing here! Did you follow me? how did you get in ?” you stammered words not coming out how you'd like.
Jack tried to make himself smaller as much as he could. “[Name ] let me explain I'm not here to hurt you” he tried to reassure you, trying to seem as non threatening as possible which was basically impossible.
You were scared and tired. You set Leona down and he stayed between your legs looking between you and Jack. You slid onto the floor and curled up.
“Where you stalking me” you voiced trying to stay calm. Why were you just talking? Why weren't you screaming for help or calling the cops?
“No…I was looking for a place to…lay low it just so happened to be your place since your balcony was unlocked I swear I didn't come intentionally!” He spoke. He was being honest but he didn't know if you'd believe him.
If that would even help his case since he basically just admitted to needing to hide from the cops. Maybe it was best for you to know him for who he was. A monster.
“So you just go breaking into people's homes, not cool man “ you chuckled. You'd always resort to humor in these situations.
“I mean what did you want me to do?” He playfully added. Talking as if this whole situation wasn't insane.
You snorted and shook your head. “Not get blood all over my carpet and cat” you said looking down at Leona whose fur was slightly covered in crimson.
“Sorry about that…” He muttered. This was weird. Why were you too just…talking? He's clearly dangerous so you seriously have no fear in your body. No, not that you were definitely scared.
You were just…stupid.
“I suppose you both need to be cleaned up.” You spoke shakily picking up Leona again along with the bag you came in with.
You slowly walked into your apartment more. Jack didn't know what to do so he just followed. Him walking behind you was so…uncomfortable. Yet you just continued.
You made it to the bathroom. Before placing Leona in the sink. He meowed trying to cling onto you but you unlatched his claws from your shirt.
You were already planning on giving him a bath. You even got him a collar on your way home. You were exhausted, everything was so much. Perhaps you were just too tired for your brain to really register the danger that looked behind you.
You told Jack he could wash his hands in the tub almost like a command. He nodded and turned to the low tub. The bathroom was a bit cramped with you both in it because of his large stature .
He made himself as small as he could. He looked more human now. So many thoughts filled his head but he just bit his lip.
“You know I should have known you were some serial killer, your odd appearance and the recent murders, should have been more suspicious huh” You said trying to find humor in the situation.
Your stomach turned as the blood washed from his chestnut colored fur. His green eyes looking up at you, big and wide. You smiled a little, scratching under his chin.
“Yea and yet you're not calling the cops” The masked man said, making sure to get up under his clawed hands. He watched as the blood followed in the water down the drain.
“I should…”
“But I won't “ You said, grabbing a towel to rub Leona dry. You really should. That would be the logical sensible thing an adult should do. This could put your brother at risk but when look turned to look at Jack still hunched over the tub you just…couldn't.
“EJ”
“[Name]”
“You have a lot of explaining to do” you spoke, picking up the now shivering kitten completely wrapping him up in the towel.
You seriously needed a break, you were just so tired. You sluggishly flopped on the couch. You put the green collar around his neck.
“There you go Leo! Matches your eyes” you baby talked him. He meowed ears twitching. His head rested on your leg. You sighed.
“His name is Leo?” The masked man said, his British accent unusually prominent as he spoke.
“Leona,” You corrected before sitting up.
Jack stared at you. This felt so familiar just sitting talking. Just like when you were two stupid teens. He sort of envied the way you managed to stay practically the same. He was more than different looking from when he was a teen.
He watched your lazy eyes as you yawned. Your work clothes a mess and your name tag hung from your neck by your lanyard.Dark circles are very clear on your face. He could tell you weren't sleeping often.
“So why were you hiding from the cops “
“Hungry”
He was being honest. No point lying to you. Hiding himself from you.
You quickly put two and two together. You face subconsciously cringed. Your skin crawled as you realized he was behind the killings involving missing organs.
“You're a …cannibal wow that was just not on my list of things to find out tonight…none of this was” You said petting the purring cat that was buried into your lap.
Jack huffed. “I wouldn't say that, I would be if I was human”
“What do you mean?”

Malleus really couldn't understand what about you drew him in. He just couldn't think of a logical answer for why you'd occupy his thoughts even if you weren't even there. Or why he got so eager whenever it was time for the class you two shared.
You were different. You didn't try to avoid him like the plague. You never went out of your way to be overly formal with him. You were well. You.
You acted like he was just any other student, not caring of his title and reputation. You'd actually go out of your way to talk to him.
You never wanted anything out of him, just his time, nothing more. It made him happy. That you would be the one to seek him out. The dragon felt like you were a real friend.
Yet that still wasn't enough for the fae. Malleus still didn't understand why you were just so special enough for him to react to you so differently from everyone else.
He didn't know why his face would burn whenever you'd comment on his magic, or when you'd compliment him on the smallest of things.
He tried to chalk it up to him being happy that you actually liked those things and not just saying it to butter him up but that couldn't be the case.
Because soon he started seeking out your praise as well as wanting to impress you. Doing things extra whenever you were watching just for the chance you'd notice(and admittedly compliment him).
Malleus also couldn't understand why his heart would beat so incredibly fast when you'd smile. Whenever you'd smile it was like a ray of sunshine he could bathe in.
He absolutely loved it. He just couldn't understand why. Wh-
"Mal?" You spoke, looking up at the taller figure. You looked concerned before smiling at his startled expression.
"You were so out of it" You couldn't help but giggle. Your laugh was like heavenly music to his ears. The housewarden cleared his throat
"Sorry about that dear [Name], I was just... thinking" The raven hair finally responded. He tried to calm the way his heart raced when you called out to him.
“Are you sure you're good ? you're all red in the face, I hope you're not sick or anything” you said now a bit concerned. It was just like you to pick up on the blush that was now spreading across his face and ears like a wildfire.
Your eyes narrowed playfully, your grin widening. “So what were you thinking about then, you were so out of it you didn't even comment on my story on how cute grim was actually earlier!”
"I... I’m fine," Malleus finally managed, though his voice came out softer than he intended. Clearing his throat once again, he tried to regain some semblance of composure, though his heart pounded furiously against his chest like crazy.
He opened his mouth to answer, but his mind betrayed him. He wasn’t thinking about anything in particular—just you. The way your smile lit up your entire face, the way you spoke to him like he wasn’t someone to be feared or avoided but just... Malleus. Any other student.
"Reflecting," he said at last, though the word felt hollow compared to the complete truth. "On various matters.
You didn’t seem convinced, and the way your lips curled into a knowing smirk made his pulse quicken.
You placed your hands on your hips. “Oh really” you quizzed dramatically raising an eyebrow.
"I-I assure you, [Name], I was merely lost in thought nothing more" he stammered, trying so hard to seem unbothered . But his voice faltered, betraying his calm facade.
"Lost in thought, huh?" you mused, leaning forward a bit, your gaze softening slightly at how flustered Malleus had become.
"I’m sure there’s more to it than that. You always seem so... distracted whenever I talk to you. It’s honestly really cute."
"C-Cute?" he echoed, his voice barely above a whisper. "I don’t... think I would describe myself as such."
The compliment struck him harder than he liked to admit. His face flushed an even deeper shade of red, and he hastily looked away, it was hard to try and stop the smile tugging at his lips.
It was quite the sight to see.
"Well you don't have to think so," you replied with a wink, your teasing tone shifting into something more genuine ."But “ you continued, moving out of the raven hair’s space a bit.
“I do think it suits you, Mal."
Malleus’ heart thudded loudly in his chest as your words hit him like a truck. He loved any form of praise from you but for the fae this was too much.
His mind was reeling, the words spinning in his head as they tried to make sense of the feelings coursing through him. You thought he was cute. You thought he, Malleus Draconia—was cute. It was something he had never considered before, and yet here you were, saying it so casually, like it was the most natural thing in the world.
“Well ..thank you child of man” The housewarden mumbled just enough for you to hear. You smiled and nodded at him.
He really couldn't understand why he felt this way about you. What made this human so special? He couldn't understand, perhaps he'd maybe end up asking Lilia about it.
“Well I should head back to my dorm before Grim manages to rip it to shreds…more than it already is” You chuckled at your own comment.
“Yes it is getting rather late into the afternoon… I suppose this is goodbye for now “ He spoke. It always pained him when you eventually had to part ways.
“Good night Mal!” You waved him goodbye before walking off Into the direction of ramshackle dorm.
“Goodnight…”
Malleus didn't understand his feelings. But he did understand one thing. He didn't want the feeling to ever go away.

Summary: After you drop your brother off at school you run into that same masked man from a few days ago.
Word count: 2429
“We've been looking more into the recent rise in the numbers of murders taking place in our ci-"
With a click the TV powered off. You needed to not listen to the news, for your own sake you told yourself. Placing the remote back on the counter you let out a sigh.
You don't need anything else to feed your paranoia. You haven't been able to sleep much after the convenience store incident. You felt like you were going insane. It was just some random guy, so why was it driving you crazy?
You hated that one small thing that messed with your head so much.
It's just one guy. One weird masked guy. You felt as if you saw that mask before. Like you know it from somewhere.
Who are you kidding? You needed to call your therapist and see if any spots opened up sooner than your initial date.
"What do you think would happen if a fox were to drink an entire can of soda?" A chirpy voice said from behind you.
Hunter rested his head in his hands. You chuckled and ruffled through his scruffy black hair still slightly damp from his shower. He swatted you away while laughing.
“Foxes don't have opposable thumbs. How would they drink from a can? " You playfully questioned swiftly turning around and flipping the pancake to cook it on the other side.
“Well I never said it had to come from a can just it was the amount that was in a can! Plus it could have knocked it over” The boy playfully bantered back.
You let out a fake hurt gasp before putting your hand on your hip giving him a glare. “Getting sassy with me now Mr, Bold maybe I shouldn't add chocolate chips to your pancakes”
“Nooo” Hunter said, flopping his upper body on the counter, head down.
“That's what I thought” You chuckled gently hitting him on the head with your spatula.
Hunter was one of the only good things in your life that came from your past. You were adopted into a middle class white family when you were 4. Your parents weren't really in your life much however. Growing up you were convinced they only had adopted you for tax benefits.
They weren't physically abusive however they played a massive part in your poor mental health growing up. They didn't go to things like school graduations or after school club things. They never got you anything for Christmas only every other birthday you'd get a happy birthday card as a rushed gift.
They never knew how to take care of things like your hair which you learned all by yourself through lots of trial and era and almost killing it tons of times.
Things like this led to your already poor social skills dropping so low they were basically non-existent. You hated talking to most people and your friends never lasted long.
Except for one boy. You don't remember much about him because a lot of your life is a blur but he was nice and stuck with you throughout highschool as you recall.
Hunter was their golden child. Their first blood child. He was spoiled for the first two years of his life until your mom passed due to unfortunate circumstances.
Your mom was always the more responsible one. She worked a ton and did a lot of the financial work. She tried more with you yet wasn’t super active in your life.
Unlike your father who was always a complete snob. He was a college dropout who stayed home. Sometimes you'd even wonder how any one can put up with that man
Your dad got a new girlfriend pretty fast after your mother's death. Things got worse and your father payed no attention to Hunter after that.
You adored your brother however, he was a good kid with a kind heart. So you were more than happy to basically be the one to raise him for a little bit until you went off to college.
You and Hunter had a 15 year age gap but you two were still extremely close. Your brother got you and helped you stay grounded.
With you having your own place and all you could take care of Hunter more often. Unfortunately for legal reasons you couldn't keep the kid all the time and you've sometimes debated on trying to get full custody over him but you knew it probably wouldn't end well.
Despite only being 12 Hunter was extremely smart. He for the most part understood your weird traumatized brain and was a big help when it came to calming you down other than the pills. He really was your only family.
"Who do you think would win million Pikachus or Godzilla?" The raven hair asked, reaching for the syrup bottle that was on the farther end of the counter. You put the plate of hot pancakes on the surface before pushing the maple syrup closer to the boy.
"How about we stop talking and eat ,hurry before you're late for school" You chuckled to yourself. Hunter pouted but started to dig in anyway.
You went to clean up your batter mess you made in the kitchen. You'd need to change before you left the apartment because your shirt was now covered in dried up pancake mix. You usually didn't make big breakfasts like these but you'd do anything for your brother.
You went off to get changed while Hunter finished up breakfast. It was getting significantly colder so you made sure to put it on your mental list to get Hunter a new winter jacket. He was tall for his age.He had a huge growth spurt a few months ago yet his voice was still as squeaky as can be. His new height difference meant he needed new clothes and you wanted to make sure he stays warm during the upcoming winter.
You two left your apartment after two checks to make sure he had everything. Hunter went on ahead before you, skipping down the steps that led to your apartment which was on the second floor.
You locked up your door, again making sure to lock both the bottom and the top. A familiar meow from a few days rang through your ears. You looked down to see the kitten from before under your legs. It meow and rubbed your leg. Your heart basically melted.
"Hey buddy nice to see you again...I hope you're keeping warm- I can't stay long though" You said to the cat who obviously didn't understand what you were saying just appreciated the chin scratches it received from you.
You realized you should head off before Hunter got inpatient and threatened to eat your entire kitchen again. You gave the chestnut colored cat one last pat before hurrying to catch up with your younger brother.
Hunter's school is luckily in a good distance for you to walk from and back to. This helps save gas whenever he was over on days he had school. You smiled as the younger boy walked on the sidewalk occasionally kicking a fallen leaf.
When you two got to middle school you made sure to do your little "don't get into any trouble" speech before shooing the boy. He gave you a hug before sprinting off when he saw one of his friends. You smiled to yourself as you went to walk in the direction you had came from.
You hummed a random tune as you slowly strolled along the concrete. You weren't in a rush to go anywhere so you could take in the calm scenery. It wasn't an extremely pretty sight as you were just walking through your neighborhood but it was an early morning in the beginning of fall. You were allowed to appreciate the small things.
Your body tensed up but you never stopped walking. There it was again. You couldn't catch a break could you? The feeling of eyes on you was back. It made your skin itch. It made you want to sprint home and get under your covers where you felt safe.
You're just being paranoid again [ name] just like you always are there is no one watc-
Your brain circuited as you felt something hard bump into you. Well more so you bumped into it. A person. Once you collected yourself from your mini shock. God you were all over the place, You fully realized you bumped into a person. A person. A human being.
"Holy shit I am so sorry I wasn't paying attention I-" You blurted out an jumbled up apology. Embarrassed, you cleared your throat. Just like the first time your heart skipped a beat. It felt...sickly. A discomforting feeling of familiarity washed over you.
You were met with silence from the same hooded man from the other day. The same masked weirdo that was like a plague to your mind. That mask. Against you felt as if you've seen it before. The thought made your stomach twist. You soon realized how tall the brunette was exactly. You had to basically step back to look at him properly. He was so tall it almost felt... unnatural.
You got a better look at the man from last time. He was lanky and scruffy looking. You couldn't make out any facial features as he wore a mask. A blue mask covered in some unknown goop. It looked more dried out than the last time you saw it. Maybe it was paint. He wore the basic black hoodie like before and tattered jeans. His shoes were beat up and definitely have seen better days.
The way he looked at you made you cold. You swallowed and subconsciously made yourself look bigger. That damn mask. It would make any normal person uncomfortable but man it felt as if the empty sockets of the eyes were just staring into you.
You were snapped out of your trance when you heard him clear his throat. "No its fine I wasn't paying attention as much as you were..." That british accent called out.
The second time you heard him speak. His voice didn't match his creepy appearance. While it was extremely monotone it was strangely calming. You wanted to say something so bad.
You didn't know why just something made you want to. Maybe you thought talking to him would make him leave your brain completely and you'd give your mind some closer that we was just some weirdo walking around. Just as he started to continue his way down the street.
"Hey um uh-"
You didn't know what to say. He stopped. That's good. You hoped anyway. He turned on his heel and faced you again. He tilted his head in an almost animalistic way. As if he was showing you he was listening, waiting for you to continue. While he stared at you, that weird feeling of being watched came back. You swallowed a lump of air.
"Do you live around here?... I haven't seen you around here is what I meant-" You stopped yourself from talking you sounded like a mess. You felt embarrassed. You honestly didn't know what to say. You started rethinking why you even stopped him. You really had no reason other than you couldn't get this stranger out of your head. You felt absolutely insane.
He's literally just some weirdo that you so happened to run into twice. A weirdo that you for some unknown reason feel like you know. A stranger. A stranger in a mask. Calm yourself.
"Do you…remember me too?”
Your thoughts halted when he spoke up again. You didn't get to catch what he said because you were so wrapped up in your own head. You felt bad and gave him a weak smile.
" I'm sorry, what was that?"
…
" It was nothing I just had said you're that same person from the other day is all. It's funny running into you again especially because I don't necessarily live around here" He supposedly repeated with a shrug. You let out a sigh of relief and chuckled a little to yourself. You really are getting yourself worked up over nothing.
He is just some weirdo.
"sorry for um you know stopping you out of nowhere i just don't know i couldn't get you out of my head- wait no that sound creepy it's just you have a strange.... appearance? I'm just making this worse for myself aren't I" You awkwardly laughed. To your surprise the masked man let out a laugh. This calmed your nerves a little bit.
"I get it not everyday you see someone who looks like...well me I guess. Just walking around in broad daylight like some kind of freak " He replied in his monotone voice. You two just stared at each in silence for a bit. He cleared his throat before nodding his head.
"I should go...stay safe out here with all these murders and all"
"y-yeah um you too"
The brunette walked away with a quick wave goodbye. Maybe he was some psychopath your brain tricked you into thinking you knew after all.
You ran your tongue across your bottom row of teeth before taking a deep breath. You needed a nap, or an entire tub of ice cream. Both. Both would be needed.
You turned on your heels before making your way home. You listened to your footsteps as you walked up your apartment stairs.
You were stopped yet again but a now familiar fur ball. The tiny cat watched you as you unlocked the door to your home. You thought it was going to run off again but instead it let it into the building. You blinked as it turned to you and let out a meow.
"This is not your house, all though I might have to just name you if you keep showing up like this" You basically scolded the kitten.
It meowed at you again as if it was talking back to you. You put your hands on your hip and stared down at the creature. "You're adorable but you need out" You said as if it understood you, you pointed to the open door.
It just meowed again and walked farther into your home. You let out a sigh. You were to mentally and physically exhausted to chase a kitten out of your home. You shut your front door and promised yourself you'd deal with the kitten who was now rubbing itself all over your couch later.

CW- mentions of blood
Summary: Despite wanting to, the masked man can't forget about his past no matter how much he tries
Word count: 2682
Jack was always the one who wanted attention. Wanting to be known. At least growing up. He craved for people to notice him. Quite the opposite of how he is now. Loud and always monopolizing attention.
Almost as if he always needed to be the center of attention. Your typical snarky elementary school boy you see in a show. The kind who would make fun of the main character for praise. He was every teacher's "problem child", no doubt causing headaches whenever he'd cause a scene.
So it was a surprise when they put you at his table when you switched schools after being adopted. You due to the lack of social experience were quiet and easily intimidated by anyone who was remotely similar to Jack. You were always cautious around the brunette.
An even bigger surprise was how you two hit it off three months after school had started. It took a bit of warming up but soon you two became two peas in a pod. Wherever one went the other followed close.
Teachers could see the way Jack helped you come out of your shell. You went from only talking when doing group assignments and answering questions to talking about whatever in class to the point teachers had to shut you up.
You were the brains, he was the bronze. The wild child and the know it all. You two were inseparable, basically attached by the hip. You would rant about whatever you were fixated on for the month to the boy while he would scribble whatever he could think of on your palm with a sharpie or occasionally pen.
" [ name ] sweetie, maybe you should try hanging with the other kids?" Your old music teacher spoke softly. She had a good heart. She liked knowing you had at least one friend. She still would occasionally try and get you to be more open and make more friends but it would always be the same response.
"But I like just hanging with Jack" You said, slightly muffled as you drank from your juicebox. The curly haired teacher sighed, accepting the fact this is as far as she's gonna get with you. Watching as you kicked your feet in your seat before waving over to the brunette.
"I know"
When middle school had started not even that could come in between your bond. People expected the changes that came with puberty and such would change your relationship.
If anything it made you two closer especially with Jack's family issues around that time. He knew you were always there for him and he appreciated more than you even knew. You tso were stuck together like glue making sure you'd get all your classes together including your electives.
Same followed suit throughout highschool with a few changes like Jack becoming more self reserved. He still made a lot of friends but he didn't go out of his way to impress them. He mostly hung with you and studied.
He really was smart; he just often didn't apply himself until his sophomore year. You would joke about not knowing he had it in him to be smart. It was a bit of a surprise to you when he brought up his interest in biology and the human body. You made sure to show him your support none the less
—-
You kicked a pebble back and forth keeping it within your reach as you walked along the pavement. The bright sun bothered your eyes. You listened as the sound of movement next to you suddenly came to a stop. You halted your steps.
You turned back to see the tall scruffy brunette standing still. He seemed to be lost in thought. His hair brushed against his freckled face as the wind blew slightly.
"What's up?" You asked seemingly startling the boy like he had completely zoned out and your voice brought him back to reality.
"It's nothing..." He eventually responded, hand fiddling with the drawstring of his hoodie.
Your brows knitted as you poked the inside of your cheek with your tongue. You weren't just going to take that for an answer. You've never seen him so out of it. He was extremely focused. He seemed almost... troubled.
"Jack.."
" [Name] "
You folded your arms and cocked a brow. You stared at him waiting for him to just cave. Speak his mind. Instead he just stared down at you with those dark brown eyes just watching.
You could see the way he tried to make himself seem more like himself, giving you that stupid look he'd make after telling a shitty joke. You knew him long enough to know when something was wrong however.
"What's wrong, what's got your head up in the clouds?"
"That was corny" The brunette let out a chuckle showing off his dimples. You shot him a glare before unfolding your arms and letting one rest on your hip while the other rested idle next to you.
"ha ha you're sooo funny, Seriously though I'm concerned you've been so distant lately and I'm starting to get worried you brush it off everytime I bring it up" You spoke. Jack didn't make eye contact with you as you spoke but you could tell he was listening.
There was silence for a bit. You were going to drop the subject so as to not push him. If he didn't wanna talk you wouldn't make him.
"It's just...what if we aren't together during college you Know... You end up leaving and forgetting me"
"Care to elaborate?" you said tilting your head slightly. He just looked down at his feet and he let out an awkward chuckle before clearing his throat.
"It's stupid I know but If I don't get into the college we agreed on going to, we probably won't be able to see each other for months at a time... My Dad is thinking about moving out of state and if I don't get in I'm have to go with him"
"Well that's not a problem I know you'll get in"
"I'm smart just not enough...not like you "
"Jack please have faith in yourself, you're smart, hell you do all that coding shit I can't even comprehend , plus even if you didn't I'd never forget you, you know to many things "
He snorted at your response, smiling again this time genuinely. You smiled back at him reassuringly.
"I guess you're right, I was just.... worried, " Jack said, almost breathless, ruffling your hair.
----
A squeal rang through his ears He could barely put down his book before he felt himself being squeezed in a hug. Man you had a grip. Jack smiled and hugged you back before pulling away. You gave him a big toothy grin before twirling around with the acceptance letter.
"You seem more happy about this than me" The brunette said, putting his hands on his hips. Watching the way you basically bounced around with excitement.
"Maybe, but I told you you could do it! We can be together, like always , you're never getting rid of me."
----
At least that part was true.
He couldn't get rid of you no matter how much he tried to forget. He still thought of you. Years passed. He'd wonder if you thought about him too.
If you remembered the late nights at his place where your study sessions turned into playing video games and eating nothing but junk until your stomach felt sick.
The days where you'd bring over food for him randomly because god knows he can't cook and neither did his stepdad. The times were you'd braid his hair when it got to shoulder length before he cut it again.
Almost a decade since your last encounter. Since the incident. Since your blood stained his hands and his lips the taste metallic and muddy. He could still remember how his teeth sunk into your flesh.
The way your eyes sided in shock. Your tears filled your eyes. The way you begged to be spared, you didn't even know it was him. You'd kick and scream. It was ingrained into his mind.
9 years since he saw you, heard your voice. He hated how he'd long for the past. He wouldn't blame you for not wanting to remember. To never see or hear from him again.
Sometimes he wished the demon transformation took his emotions with his human self. They were too much to keep up with. He was a demon. A monster. Something he accepted a long time ago.
He was nothing more than a monster fueled by blood lust. Everytime He felt an emotion. He felt pathetic and helpless. Made him sick.
Until a month ago. He thought finally he was starting to forget. To finally start anew without the constant feeling of loss but here you were weaseling your way into his life again without even realizing it
. The demon simply thought he finally started going crazy when he saw you at that counter.Yet it was you definitely you.
You just so happened to live in the small town he and his "coworkers" had bunkered down in to let things die down a bit. They targeted mostly large areas and that eventually caused a pattern. In addition it was to help slow down killings. You can't kill a bunch if the population isn't that big.
It was so surprising running into you at a convenience store. Same everything, nothing changed. Same eyes that would give him dirty glares across the room in class. Same hair he had learned to style years back. Every last detail was the same. Including the same scar he had caused all those years ago on your arm.
It made him feel something he hadn't in years. Something he couldn't explain.
The brunette didn't miss the way your eyes seemed to be curious about him. Staring at him cautiously yet so intrigued.
Then it hit him. You don't remember him. You two are merely nothing but strangers now. You don't share the same past anymore, only he carried the memories with him. That thought made him feel...sick.
On one hand it was good for him and honestly for you too. Yet a part of him hated the fact you didn't remember. He felt trapped in a time that he could only remember.
He studied you as you finished ringing up the bandages he had grabbed real quick. A dog had bit him while he was trying to eat. He somehow didn't smell the scent of any kind of animal in the house before he broke in. The wound was bad, well for any human.
The demon was fine and the wound will heal quite quickly. He just needed something to cover it with and he didn't feel like going all the way back home just yet.
Being forced to play Mario party with BEN and Toby was less than ideal. They can get competitive and he did not have the energy for that.
You two said your goodbyes after he was done and he made sure to leave as soon as possible. He felt suffocated like he was in a small space with only just you. It was weird. Maybe you two weren't supposed to meet again and seeing you once would finally give him some peace of mind and he wouldn't have to worry about you anymore.
He was oh so wrong. He thought about you even more to the point it became distracting. He hated it. His head was full of questions he'd ask, what else he could have said to keep up a longer conversation.
He heavily disliked human feelings. It was annoying and he found it stupid how much he cared for someone who doesn't even know his name anymore while he can still list off your favorite shows from when you were little.
He ran into you again while he was looking for weak points with easier targets. He'd been eating more than usual, he noticed. He had a weird hunger that he couldn't just ignore, yeah he could go long without eating and quite frankly he didn't like the mess he'd make after plus he'd always have a lingering scent of blood after.
It was a weird and unsettling feeling of him simply needing to sink his teeth into something. He needed to get it under control.
You seemed to be coming back from somewhere. He spotted you before you even knew he was there. You were quite unaware of your surroundings. He could have prevented you bumping into him but how else would he have an excuse to talk to you.
He fought back a smile as you blurted out an awkward apology like you would whenever you were late for a class or weirdly apologizing to an inanimate object that you bumped into. At the end of the day it was still you. The same you.
That's the problem.
It was still you. He's changed dramatically and you were still, you. The same person he had been longing for, for years. Now you're here yet he feels even more lost. You don't know him like he knows you. You two have history only he can recall. Only he knows. You probably don't even remember what he used to look like when he was human.
Now he's unrecognizable. Gray almost blue skin. Animalistic features. And most notably eyeless.
"Do you... remember me?
"I'm sorry, what was that?"
He was making a fool of himself. He felt sick to his stomach. He really didn't like this. You were making him crazy, driving him fucking mad and you have no idea that you were. Not a single clue whatsoever
---
"Where were you?"
"Out"
The raven hair titled his head and scoffed.
"No shit Sherlock, that's not answering my question" Jeff spat leaning on the chipped counter.
"I went out for food" The brunette shrugged while digging through the fridge, setting on a jar full of raw animal parts. It would have to do for now.
"Not buying it you're not covered in blood like usual, plus you're digging through the fridge right now couldn't have been that successful of a hunt" The lanky male said.
Jack's eyebrows knitted and he took a deep breath. Sometimes Jeff was insufferable and it made him want to punch him in the face. He tolerated the guy though.
"I'm not going to be questioned by a guy who smells like he's going through puberty everyday all day okay " The demon responded before standing back up properly. The shorter male just let out a dramatic sigh rolling his eyes.
“Well Toby wanted you to help him with a stitch he pop”
“Again?”
---
"[Name] can we pretty please get one more bag" Hunter begged, holding a huge bag of candy. You ruffled his hair and shook your head.
"Didn't I just buy you a bag the other week? You couldn't have gone through it all already"
"I didn't just left it at Dad's place and I'm with you for an extra week remember"
"Hmm that's not my problem"
"Pleaseeee" The young boy begged. You chuckled and nodded your head defeated. You couldn't say no to him. You watched as your younger brother put the bag into your cart of groceries. You checked your list and realized you needed a case of water.
When you found your way to the drink aisle you spotted a familiar figure. How many times were you going to run into this creepy masked dude. You didn't even realize you made your way to him until you started speaking
"Oh it's you again"
Your words rang through his ears. He stared down at you. Oh you really were everywhere.
He was reckless. He knew going out in public especially how much he stood out was risky but usually he didn't care how noticeable he was.
No one who remembered him lived long enough anyway. Now he wishes he could just blend in and say he didn't know you and you were mistaken. He couldn't.
“Yeah…”

"I'm so sorry please forgive me”
