To everyone who was there for final space, please watch Godspeed. A spiritual successor that was crowdfunded and taken shape to be a unique and amazing pilot now available on YouTube. And if you like this pilot, there’s an opportunity to make more.

Olan Rogers has another Kickstarter up called Godspeed: The Series and it has already reached its goal of $100,000.00. But the stretch goals are for more episodes and more content from the creative team and the creator-first studio: Lightfold.

It has been a rough year for animation, but projects like these can’t help but fill me with hope.

The Enigma of Amigara Fault

This short story by Junji Ito is about a fault that appears in Amigara mountain after an earthquake. The earthquake exposes countless human-shaped holes in the mountain which seem to have been made about a thousand years ago. People, intrigued by these  silhouettes, gather at the site and that’s when things get creepy.

It’s about a 15-20 min read, but if you haven’t read this before, you’re in for a treat. Link above.

A professor gave us an extra credit option: take a picture of yourself outside, doing something that you would not usually do. We were told not to take it too seriously. Here is my entry:

so mad that our takeaway from the mask thing hasn't been "wait, so we could have been getting like 80% fewer colds and viruses this entire time?"

I had a dream I was in a shitty run down shopping center full of really dodgy stalls selling obvious knock off bootleg products like unlicensed nes games and weird fake action figures and in one corner of the building there was a pet shop selling "new animals that were just invented" and they had just released a new animal called a "shrewmonkey" and everyone who saw it immediately thought it was the cutest thing they'd ever seen and desperately wanted to buy one. it was about the size of a rat and looked like this
