And how later in the manga we see Fiona criticize Yor giving Loid milk to put in his coffee.

This added scene in the anime shows that Yor already knows how Loid likes his coffee. She didn’t give him milk because she forgot how she likes it, but because she’s grown so close to him over the months of their fake marriage that she’s able to recognize his needs without him even needing to tell her

Loid’s stomach ulcers are played as a joke throughout the manga to emphasize how stressed he is about the mission, but this scene shows that Yor has been attentive to him and how his stress has been affecting him. The milk was Yor’s way of trying to help ease his pain, and the new scene they added to the anime really emphasizes how close the two have grown throughout their time living together

Something about the way “Forger” and “Phony” both easily have the immediate meaning of being something fake, and yet Forging can still simultaneously mean creating something new with what you have now, while no such second definition exists for the word Phony.

I love Twilight and Nightfall’s blatantly obvious cover names being made up by Nightfall in that aspect—and on the flipside, Twilight choosing “Forger” on his own accord, probably not even realizing that its other meaning would ever be relevant. I just think they’re neat

on rosa's tendency to be a block of wood.

i can't imagine twiyor still having a "no entering our room policy" with anya after the reveals because like... she's their baby and they want to be open with her. so twiyor talk it over a bit, trying to figure out how to balance letting anya come into their room without risking her getting into their spy/assassin gear. they decide the best course of action is to just teach her and be honest with her. they sit her down, emphasizing that this is a serious conversation, and they basically just walk her through the various weapons they keep in their room, explaining what they do and why they aren't safe for a certain 6 year old to go play with. at first she's a little silly, reaching out for the silenced pistol when loid shows it to her, but they quickly tell her that if she won't take it seriously then their room is going to be off limits. they hate being strict with her, but this isn’t something they can be lenient on. anya looks so guilty and murmurs, "okay. i'm sorry." loid gives her head a little pat, smiling at her and says, "it's alright, peanut. i know you're excited, but we just want to make sure you stay safe. mama and i don't want anything to happen to you, okay?" and anya nods, smiling when yor gives her cheek a gentle stroke of affection.

the first week or two after their conversation with her, anya is so hesitant any time she tries to go in their room. there's one morning where loid is awake making breakfast, but yor is still in bed. anya grabs the doorknob, but hesitates, turning back to loid. he just smiles at her widely and asks, "going to snuggle mama?" and she nods, but stays still with her hand on the doorknob, just waiting. loid tells her, "you don't need to ask me, sweetheart, you can go right in. you know what not to touch right?" "no silenced pistols and no gold spikey things." and loid nods, replying, "very good. breakfast will be ready shortly. you can cuddle with yor in our bed until then." and anya grins as she slips into twiyor's room and climbs straight into yor's arms

twiyor just love not having to lie to her. they love the honesty between them after so long of lying. it’s nice getting to have that trust with each other, but also with anya

It's just after seeing some of his lines from other people, he seems to have a bigger role in the story and I'm curious if any of his lines give any more clues to the situation on hand. if Taiga sees the future or knows the future because of timeline/loop shit, then that Taiga doesn't seem to actively care much about being Captain or doing his job makes sense. He knows that if nothing changes everything's going to fall apart anyway so there's no point in trying. We don't really know what his stigma does either--in fact, his "good luck" could be that he can see and react to future events, so he knows things like what cards will be drawn and such. But he's getting tired of everything always going so bad no mater what he does in response to what he sees. And Romeo(? it doesn't say who he's telling about how bad things are getting) isn't helping to make changes. . .so he's just giving up. But now you're here, maybe you're different somehow. Maybe somehow you're an outlier in this timeline. Maybe injuring you was on purpose to change something in the future he saw. Maybe that's why he's telling you about the spy. . . .of course this is all speculation. Until we learn what his stigma does or what he means by 'ditch this future' then. . .all speculation. But there is a wickhive post that someone can see the future. And the more I think about it the more I wonder if it's Taiga. (also because i'm sure someone will point this out, the wording 'let it all burn down' is specific to the English dialogue, so it's not a callback to the pre-prequel sequence where the school is on fire.)

My trauma did not add to my character. It did not make me kind. It did not make me a warrior.

Anything I am is thanks to me.

Maybe you want to argue that I wouldn't have found that strength without my trauma. But it's still my strength, that I found within myself. It already existed in me for me to be able to find it. My trauma does not deserve the credit for it.

And even if it did help me find that strength, it doesn't mean I'm "better" for my trauma in any way shape or form. The trauma didn't do me any favours. And I'd still be better off if it hadn't happened.
