SELKIES ARE HUMANS THAT TURN INTO SEALS. IF YOU STEAL THEIR SEALSKIN THEY ARE BOUND TO YOU.

WATER NYMPHS CAN LIVE IN FRESHWATER OR SALT WATER AND LOOK HUMAN-LIKE BUT ARE IN FACT NATURE SPIRITS.

NEREIDS ARE A TYPE OF WATER NYMPH BUT ARE OCEAN NYMPHS. THERE ARE ONLY 100 OF THEM AND THEY ARE THE DAUGHTERS OF NEREUS AND DORIS, DORIS BEING THE DAUGHTER OF OCEANUS.

Fantome-stein is an online comic that combines Phantom of the Opera, and Frankenstien. It has beautifully striking, dark, dramatic artwork, and strong characters. I can not recommend it whole-heartedly though, because I’m 78% sure that the author intends to MERCILESSLY MASH OUR HEARTS, MAKE A JAM WITH THE PASTE, AND SPREAD IT ON TOAST WHILE SHE CACKLES AT OUR MISFORTUNE. Alas, I am already invested, so if you find me in an emotionally spent heap somewhere, you’ll know why.

On the bright side! Raoul and Christine are very fun to draw :)
