Stripe Meanings:

BPD Acceptance & Awareness Flag

While there is a popular black and white BPD flag, I wanted to create one with more colour to show the depth of BPD. I was inspired by the NPD Awareness Flag by npdsafe, and the alternate NPD flag by npdflag to make this. I followed the amount of stripes the NPD flag has as to show solidarity between cluster B disorders.

Stripe Meanings:

(#000000) Black： Duality, Emptiness, and Support —

Black and White both represent the duality of BPD. Along with that, black represents feellings of being void, hollow and emptiness. It also represents support for people with BPD.

(#711f49) Purple-Red： Negative Intense Emotions —

Purple-Red, Dark Magenta, represents intense negative emotions, both internal and external. This includes overwhelming feelings of rejection, feelings of abandonment, anger, and more.

(#e24069) Pink-Red： Positive Intense Emotions —

Pink-Red, Lipstick Pink, represents intense positive emotions, both internal and external. This includes feelings of europhoria, love, healing, wellbeing, and more.

(#d6cce8) Light Lavender： Fear and Dissociation —

Light Lavender, Haze, represents fear, fear of abandonment, paranoia, dissociation, loss of sense of identity, feeling out of touch with reality, derealisation, and depersonalisation.

(#ada1d3) Dark Lavender：Solidarity and Remembrance. —

Dark Lavender, Periwinkle, represents solidarity between people with BPD and other cluster B disorders. It also serves as a reminder of the different ways BPD presents itself in different people. It also serves rememberance of those with BPD who have passed away.

(#ffffff) White：Duality and Recovery —

White and Black both represent the duality of BPD. Along with that, white represents recovery, and that people with BPD are not hopeless.

id: a species flag consisting of seven horizontal stripes. from top to bottom the stripes colors are: pale blue, with a thin dark blue line separating it from the next stripe, which is a mossy green stripe with a regular top but scalloped bottom, followed by a regular lighter mossy green stripe. the center stripe is the brightest green and has a circle in the center of it, the entire shape is outlined with a duller green. Inside the circle and at the center of the flag is an equilateral triangle with a line through it just under the tip, which is the alchemical symbol for air. the flag below this is a mirror image of the stripes at the top. end id

id: the same flag as previously described, except atop the center is a vector of a set of hands touching fingers in a reference to the painting 'creation of adam'. the hands are pale blue and outlined in dark blue. end id

a species flag for any nonhuman that is in some way manmade, usually via science/alchemy/etc. use it if you think it fits you im not a cop. but if it helps i was thinking of frankensteins monster, jekyll & hyde, edward scissorhands when making it.

A species + MAD flag for individuals with BPD who are part of the animal family, Canidae (link). This can be due to being otherkin, nonhuman / alterhuman, therian, having a gender of a species from Canidae, simply relating to animals from Canidae, etc.

This is not to be used by those who have "transitioned" to having BPD.

Rabid BPD : A Term For Those Who Feel As Though Their BPD Symptoms Resemble Rabies Or Make Them Feel

A flag with 5 even horizontal stripes, the colors of the flag from top to bottom are dark green, green, off-white, grey and dark blue.

AROMANTIC..? A term for those who identify with being Aromantic but something is off with that identity. Alternative name of this term would be Aro..? / Aro?
