My History With Fashion

I am terrible with fashion. Well, I just don’t dress with style and I am currently taking my entire closet of clothes apart to donate at least half. That way I’ll have room for more clothes that I’ll actually like. But I dislike revealing clothes and I am a very (meaning literally) hot-tempered person. So unless it’s winter I’m not gonna wear a sweater.

I thought it would be fun to put together a outfit I would want to wear. I got this idea from @jihopes since they (I don’t know the proper pronouns for them) make these awesome outfits based on prompts people send them. So instead of making an outfit based off a prompt (cuz plagiarism :/) I’m making an outfit based on what I wanna wear.

Note to @jihopes : I do not mean to offend you by bringing your username up or doing something similar to what you do. I just thought it’d be fun. Plus I really wanted to show you my quote on quote “fashion” as well. :)

To give you guys an idea of my current “style” here is what I wear on a day to day basis.

- I wear my glasses everyday so :]

- Any oversized shirt really.

- The only type of pants I wear are leggings. Not the athletic type tho.

- I just don’t like jeans and leggings are comfortable.

- I currently wear one pair of shoes every single day and that’s my combat boots that basically make me three inches taller.

I go into my kitchen and there’s a watermelon sitting there. Well, it’s not sitting because it’s a fruit- could it be a vegetable- no! But it’s a fruit and is not alive and therefore does not sit nor stand.

Then I go towards the living room with one of my hands on my hip because I can.

And I go, dead serious here, I go *ahem*. You know, that sound/fake cough you make to get someone’s attention.

My ma pauses the bedtime story and looks at me.

“What?”

Why is there a watermelon in the kitchen? (why don’t they have yellow oh you wouldn’t be able to see it-)

“I got it”

I was looking at my brother expecting him to have impulsively bought it with my mother not saying no.

My grandma said that tho.

I look at her as she looks at me.

“Why? Can I not get a watermelon?”

My grandmother is now confused to a point of return. What? You thought I was gonna say “to the point of no return?” heck no! This is a watermelon not a massive decision like- mMhh adopting a bird (it came into my mind).

I was like,

No, of course you can get a watermelon.

But it’s just out of the blue.

She responds to me with,

“It said seedless and yellow watermelon.”

So that brings me to my question, people. What the heck (I almost spelt “geck”) is a yellow watermelon?!?!??!!?

Why does it exist?

When and where did this start?

Am I the only one who didn’t know about this?!??!

I should, in fact we all should, remember this.

How do you fall in love with yourself?

The same way you fall in love with someone else. Acknowledge the bad, embrace the good, and grow.

Humanity has finally found a way to communicate with crabs, we realize they're smarter than us. Now that they know we know, what are they going to do?

Overthrow us, duh. The Great World War of Humans is what it will be called when humanity looses.

Maybe they’ll raise us like cattle but I don’t wanna think about that possibility (even though it’s not a real possibility).
