Tool - Find Sims3 CC on Exported Sim Package Files

Hey y’all! Have a gift! I didn’t create this. It was coded by my son, Kitlith. He came up with the idea to help me, and we both thought others could be helped by this tool as well.

A few disclaimers first: 1. This will only work completely for the person who CREATED the sim the tool is used on. It will not be able to identify CC you do not have.

2. This will only work if your CC is installed as .package files.

3. Most of the testing for this has been done on a PC running Windows 7 (my computer). We had at least one person test on Windows 10, but it’s possible there will be issues with other operating systems that we haven’t encountered yet.

4. We have written a text file that accompanies this tool, with instructions, and edited for clarity. PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.

5. There is a link in the text file to the source code on GitHub, and THAT is where you should report any issues you encounter with this tool. You can message me about it, but chances are I won’t be able to help you. My son is the programmer, not me. ^-^;; He doesn’t use Tumblr.

6. Last, but by no means least, this tool will be easiest for you to use if you are using CC magic for your CC. However, instructions are included for altering the search folder if you are NOT using CC magic. So again, please read the instructions.

Frida: *angrily* Why don’t you ask your boyfriend if I’m all right, Pauline? And maybe convince him that I’m not a damn murderer while you’re at it.

Pauline: Frida... I’m sorry for everything that’s happening, and you know I’m here for you, but that’s not a fair thing to say to me. I’m not Hank’s handler. He’s just doing his job.

Frida: I know, I know. I’m just exhausted. I’ve been up all night. I’m sorry, Pauline. I’ll call you later, okay?

Frida: This is just too much. They’re saying Erik was murdered… my brother is missing, which means he’s a possible suspect or—or he could be hurt! And Jared got shot right in front of me…

Xander: Shit is fucked, I know. What can I do to help? Do you want me to leave, give you some space?

Frida: I can’t handle any of this right now. I... I don’t want to be alone. But you can leave, if you want to…

Xander: I’m not going anywhere.

Xander: But shit, Frida… I have to tell you something. I fucked up big time. I did something… bad. Like, really bad. I’m worried you’re never going to forgive me.

Xander: … Frida?

*soft snoring sounds*

Xander: *sigh* Fair enough… you get some rest.

Xander: I’ll be fine… I can get out of this… Yeah, everything will be fine… right?

Tempest Tuning by GCirelli

For any TS3 simmers who use NRaas Tempest and are unaware of this mod, I want to share one of my favorite game tweaks that I lost and just recently found again yesterday. Made by GCirelli at the NRaas site, this tuning file contains custom weather profiles for almost every EA world (minus a couple of the newer ones). The creator based these profiles on the climate in comparable real world locations, and every detail from the morning, noon, evening, and night temperature ranges to the chance of fog, hail, rain, snow and sun has been individually set to correspond with the average forecast for that real world place for each of the four seasons. So with just a couple of clicks in the NRaas Tempest menu, you can quickly and effortlessly have warm tropical sunshine in Sunlit Tides, gray foggy drizzle in Moonlight Falls, or dry desert heatwaves in Lucky Palms.

For anyone interested, you can download the tuning file HERE and the instructions on how to enable it HERE. As these are exported NRaas settings, the package needs to go in your Library folder, and I believe you will also need NRaas Overwatch to import it. If you have any trouble getting it to work, feel free to send me a message or an ask, and I will try my best to help. :)

I need a bit of help for the veterinarian 💜

Hey everyone, I hate to do this but maybe you can help me a bit. My female cat needs an exam to check her heart, but it's too expensive for us, so I thought about doing a fundraising/donations thing, maybe it helps a bit, even if it's just 1$.

Story: my female cat Luna was born on the streets and was a stray till she was 1 year old, when we adopted her. At home we noticed that her breathing was a bit fast, we thought it could be first time at home excitement though (she purred for two days straight 😊). The vet examined her and said she couldn't detect anything and said to keep an eye on her and call if she coughed like cat asthma videos (luckily she never did that). She gets more tired than my male cat when playing. One time in a hot day she started panting when playing, I stopped playing immediately and tried to calm her (I thought it was cause it was too hot and maybe I pushed her too much, maybe she doesn't know when to stop playing if it's too much). Ever since, I take breaks when playing with her, so she doesn't get tired. But she only does like two jumps and she lays down breathing fast, she wants to keep playing, but I don't let her till she rests a bit. My male cat plays for so long running around like crazy, so compared to him, I get even more worried. So we went to the vet again and said the fast breathing never stopped, and she even breathes fast when she's resting/sleeping. The vet said the breathing was a bit fast and should've calmed down by now (she's at home for 1 year). She prescribed anti-inflammatory and allergy pills, but it did nothing. So she suggested to check her heart with an exam, because heart problems affect the breathing. We need 150€ for now and we can't afford that, I've been postponing this since last year, but I'm terrified that something could be wrong with her heart and something bad will happen to her 😢 I really hope there's nothing wrong and maybe the exam is a waste of money, but if there's something in her heart, she needs to start medication as soon as possible. If anyone can help, I would be much appreciated 💜 anything is appreciated really 🙏 Thank you for reading.
