It usually depends on my mood; I spend a lot of my time working on story writing, scripting for the comic so it's just good to have the idea out of my brain :"D but I usually like Sketching THEN colouring if I have the time (I get carried away so sometimes they become fully rendered lmao).

Platonic relationships (I'm gonna ramble on this one so be prepared)

I feel like purely platonic relationships between a gay man and another man aren't shown enough in media.

Like one where there's no "savior complex" between them that I often see in media with queer characters-just mutual respect. They support each other as equals, without any need to fix or change or "protect" one another.

It's important to me because that lack of representation is part of why some people say things like, "I don't mind them being gay, just don't shove it in my face." or still feel uncomfortable around queer people. It's frustrating because it shows how much people still misunderstand those dynamics.

Oh and it'd be super awesome to see more found family stuff, I'm a big sucker for found family that's still flawed

OR have like younger characters in fiction be taken seriously (Idk how to put it) sometimes I feel that when a series has a character that's a kid or teen, they're often reduced to being like the character for the cute/funny moments where their opinions don't really matter. (Like a Baby Macguffin almost).

There's honestly so many tropes I wanna see more in fiction and fanfiction but AHH it'd take forever to get through all of them.

What animal would Nak be? (+ Krueger)

Nak is a Black Mamba (Dendroaspis polylepis) or any type of snake/serpentine really. There are a lot of snake motifs in her design, one being her face paint and chest rig. Snakes are a complex symbol, much like Nak, but they usually mean danger.

Positive Symbolism - healing, wisdom, guardianship, immorality, sensuality

Negative Symbolism - death, destruction, evil, disease, poison.

Krueger is a Harpy Vulture (Harpia Harpyja) or a Bearded Vulture (Gypaetus barbatus). My interpretation of his personality is more in line with these birds since they are not scared of humans, like a dog taking scraps of meat. Vultures usually have a bad correlation in the world, so I like to think that because of this assumption, he would have to try his damnedest in spite of his talent.

Positive Symbolism - luck, happiness in the sacrifice of one's life, Eagerness, Prowess

Negative Symbolism - death, the Underworld, fear.

something funny I noticed about Samis Arabic is that it is a lil...clunky?? like nothing he says is incorrect but it feels like he's translating it from English to Arabic in his head, which makes sense considering he grew up wealthy so he's probably a bit whitewashed. whereas Azur has perfect Arabic, I'd like to imagine him teasing Sami about his Arabic, its weirdly cute lol

one more question! are the cousins Muslim or just grew up with Muslim influence? also I lied its 2 questions, do/did they listen to Arabic music?

Salam, It's good to see you again! I had no idea that Sami's voicelines are like that since I only started learn Arabic a few months ago ;0; so this information is really helpful for me!! Let's get into the questions :D

Are the cousins Muslim or did they just grow up with Muslim Influence?

I think they would be both raised to be Christian (A mix of Orthodox and Catholicism) because of the general religion in Austria during the 80s and 90s (and because I can't find any statistics of Muslims in Austria during that time period + I feel I'm not confident enough in my knowledge of Islam for me to really say)

However I do think that the cousins, no matter how whitewashed they may be, definitely grew up with some Middle Eastern (not Muslim) influence even if they didn't know (In Germany/Austria "Wallah"/ "Mashallah" is used as slang amongst teens) or Their parents (Krueger's Mom, König's Dad) cooking them food from where they're from. (Idk if that makes sense ;0; please feel free to correct me!)

Did/Do the Cousins listen to Arabic Music?

They do now, just a few songs, but they didn't before, because they didn’tknow how to get access to Arabic music because when you search up "Arabic Music" on YouTube or Spotify you get like.. not really songs but more instrumentals .

I like to think Sami was the one who was like "Have you two heard of Sherine? Just listen to Sherine" And they just have her on their playlists at some point :3

Born in Vientiane, Laos. Living the first 15 years of her life off her uncle's fortune, partaking in the trafficking of illicit narcotics at a young age. The two were close due to them being family, not having many friends due to her uncle's line of work.

Enlisted in the LPAF by her Uncle's wishes to "Carve a better path for herself". Was not liked by her peers for her cocky attitude, overly aggressive tactics, and habit of prioritizing her personal safety over the team.

After 3 years of service in the LPAF, excelling in Close Quarters Combat, dishonorably discharged due to repeated physical altercations among teammates. Spent the next 6 months back to working for Kapano Vang despite his reluctance, eventually fleeing to Urzikstan after an argument with Vang about difference in beliefs, multiple people injured; their relationship has been strained ever since.

During her time her path crossed with Nikolai, in search of work she signed a long term contract with Chimera, with one year of service.

Shown to exhibit signs of social anxiety and difficulty forming close relationships around people her age. Inherited Kapano Vang's short temper in combat, though more relaxed outside of it.

Developed a bond with Syd, seeing her as an older sister. Often paired up with Sebastian Krueger in order to keep them both in line.

A quick thinker, Nak is able to carry out missions by finding creative solutions to make sure her operations are successful. Outside of the battlefield her adaptability allows her to have better communication with people, even with her social anxiety.

Nak strives to make the most effective solutions so it’s easier on her in the future. Her decision making skills ensure that she’ll survive in the field and outside of it.

Living on her own, Nak is responsible, she can’t relax unless all her work is done beforehand. As she starts forming close relationships with people, she realizes that she likes taking care of people.

Starting out Nak isn’t a very good teamplayer. She doesn’t like others telling her what to do or how to do things so she’s stubborn in a way that she’s adamant about what she wants but adaptable with what methods are needed.

Nak is a shortened version of “phayanak” the mythical water serpent in Laos, it’s also the Lao pronunciation of “Naga” which is her Uncle’s name in the field.

Her face paint draws reference to how snake teeth are shown in Phayanak statues. There are multiple snake motifs in her design. Is the design practical? No, she just likes standing out in that way.

Nak cuts her own bangs (long blunt bangs) she doesn’t trust anyone with cutting them.

Has a lot of upper body and lower body strength; she can lift things heavier than her and calisthenics skills (handstands, full planches, etc.)

Often, most people's First impressions of her is that she's "Unsettling."
