life is shit but eh I stopped trying to do something against it. I started writing two headcanons yesterday, they should come soon, and then followed by the third chapter of Broken Heart Can Beat Again ;)

Hyun adores his job, so don’t be surprised if he’s elbow-deep in flour when you get home

he does know where work ends and private life starts, and he can be very sweet without baking cakes 🥰

if you have to be apart from each other for some reason, he won’t check on you every 5 minutes (he knows you better than think that you’re incapable of living on your own) but he appreciates if you still send him an “I arrived safely” message or something

there’s no such thing as too much food. he likes eating just as much as he enjoys the cooking process itself

random movie nights? random movie nights. no horror tho (Hyun says it’s for your sake, but you know the truth...)

Priya:

I firmly believe that Priya is a little spoon and no one can change my mind. even if she’s taller, she just melts if you hug her tightly, wrapping her in your arms

despite this cutie appearance she’s a badass and is not afraid to kick someone’s ass. someone bothers you in a bar? boom Priya’s there like some kind of superhuman

her job is really important to her tho and sometimes she doesn’t choose the right moment to express that

fights with her are as passionate as lovemaking, and at first she might not admit if she’s wrong out of pride. at the end of the day you make peace of course, maybe with a little massage to convince the more stubborn one...

Rayan:

Rayan is one of those typical people who don’t have the heart to wake you up, and just rather watch you sleep. you might get a little grumpy about it later, but he doesn’t feel guilty. at all

in my head Marina is non-extistent, but apart from her some other female students seem to be interested in him. it’s canon that poor bae is oblivious to this, so sometimes you have to take matters in your own hands

despite not being his student anymore you often visit him in his office, but you never sit in on one of his classes (you would just divert his attention anyway ^^)

Rayan appreciates you very much but sometimes he gets so lost in his work, you have to tell him that it’s time to eat / sleep / etc

there are occasions where long lost child in him wakes up and he gets enthusiastic about really random things

I didn't pay attention to the question, still standing in the doorway, sweeping the empty room with my eyes. It was hard to take in the view: my brain filled in the void with the rugs, furnitures, pictures, newspaper on the table, the TV....

"....ma'am?"

I turned towards the young man in front of me; he was working for a professional decluttering company, the very one I called to help me get rid of some of my belongings. My heart ached to let go of certain things, but I couldn't possibly take everything with me to my new flat. The only real love in my life left my side, and I couldn't bear to live alone in the same house that was once filled with his laughter and voice.

I hoped that the organiser would impute me not hearing him to my old age, and nodded. "Yes, everything is on the truck, you can go. Thank you for your help."

He curtly said goodbye, then left, taking his favourite armchair, his desk, his-

The thought of raining on a day like this being cliché flashed through my mind, when I realised that it was my own tear that wetted my face. I thought that I had got over it by now; isn't grief supposed to last for only a few months? That's what all of my friends told me, at least. That it will be better, that I will eventually forget about him, that life will overgrow the pain...

When will it dull?

I walked back to my own car. There was nothing else I could do, the whole house is empty besides few things that the owners-to-be liked and bought. My accidental prediction became true after all; when it was already dark - so dark that the world outside my car's light seemed non-existent - I noticed some drops on the wind-shield. One, two, five, and many, many more. They imitated my tears that started falling once again, and I had to pull over to calm down. There were two images in my mind, never disappearing: one showed the house the way it once was, full of life when the grandchildren visited, being a safe heaven for them; and one showed its present state, the walls ripped from the family photos covering them, the wooden floor naked without the carpets warming them, the dark rooms with all the light taken away from there.

An image of life, and an image of death. A painful reminder of the past, and the truthfully cold present.

And I couldn't decide which one hurt more to see.

sure! I wrote "domestic life" as with kids, but if you want a general domestic life headcanon, feel free to send a new request ^^

14. pregnancy / birth

as we have already seen, Castiel looks forward to having child(ren). either if it's an accidental pergnancy or a planned one, he'll be happy when he hears the good news

he would prefer to have the child later though, so he can sort out the mess in his job and have more time for Candy and their future child

he can't possibly accompany Candy to every doctor's appointment and such of course, but he tries his best to help as much as he can when he's available

he doesn't mind going to buy weird food at even weirder hours (except the "waking up soon" part...), at least he can have a walk without anyone walking up to him

even though he's famous and all that, he won't flood his social media accounts with the news of his child. there also won't be a gender reveal party (both of them think that these are ridiculous), though they will surely have a smaller celebration among friends and family

19. domestic life / being a father

similarly to pregnancy, Castiel won't share every minute of his kid's childhood on the net

not immediately after the birth of course, but I think Castiel would get a puppy for the child to grow up together with

he'll probably put touring on a hiatus in the very beginning, so he doesn't abandon Candy completely. his work is important to him, so he will go back after some time, but he will make sure to spend time with his child even then

I can't really decide the gender of Castiel's kid. he'd most likely be more comfortable with a son (teaching him how to play the guitar, playing basketball with him, etc), while it would be really fun to see him with a daughter (that episode with Thia shows this well)

he'll most likely tell the worst dad jokes, often tell stories that start with "when I was your age..." and just generally be a chill and fun father, but that doesn't mean he won't ever be strict (though it's mostly Candy's job, poor girl has plus one child to deal with sometimes)
