And a mask in front of his face, reminiscent of a demon. No malicious intent or message, more of a demonstration of the variety of roles being tried on. But beyond that, the demonic idea of changing identities at will

TMNT: Roots

Introducing my version of Miyamoto Usagi! He’s an ally of the tmnt and is able to make a portal to their dimension (the Battle Nexus had a lot to do with it, I’ll explain that in a later post). He’s the same age as them and gets along with Leo the best (he’s very 03Usagi-coded).

His design is a nod to 2012 and 2003 Usagis, but I still tried to change it up slightly.

11 is done! I said I'd finish by the 3rd, but that's unlikely at this point. (I really struggled with the lighting on this one, took me longer than expected.) BUT, I prevailed! I was gonna just do 12, but... I need to do 15 as well. Cuz I do. (I already have one of 13 I did a few years back, I'll post it when it's her turn!) On to painting 12. May get him done by Monday. Trans Leo pride is something I see a lot, but personally, FH Leo wouldn't celebrate his gender. He grew up around Gali, who went through a lot of gender struggles, especially in his younger years, and with the brothers being so accepting, it's just another part of his life

But his lack of romantic attraction? That's something that stands out to him. He sees the brothers with their own attractions and crushes and such and realizes he stands out. He's different. But that's okay because he's still him and he's still valid
