Caitlyn Kiramman X Father Brown

Caitlyn’s VA, Katie Leung, was in an episode of the BBC series Father Brown (Series 2 Episode 8: “The Prize of Colonel Gerard”). Considering I both love Caitlyn and Father Brown, I decided to combine the two : )

May make more Arcane related art in the future. We’ll see.

This poster is what started the entire series; it was created for my thesis, so it holds a special place in my heart.

Alongside this, I’ll admit I’m also considering writing a longfic about a young Silco, so my brainrot never really went away (I started working on the thesis two years ago).

Why does this make me think it'd be a Bakusquad argument? 🤣

hear me out-

caitlyn has grown up with the world at her fingertips. she can have whatever she wants, do whatever she wants. she has so much control.

but when her mom dies, it hits her especially hard because it’s not just that caitlyn failed to protect her mother. caitlyn believes she had the means and the power to protect her mother, but she failed to do so.

she has so much control. she should have been able to control this situation.

many people will blame themselves for not being to save someone. but in caitlyn’s situation, it’s so much more brutal to know what you genuinely had the power to save someone, but failed.

this does not justify caitlyn’s actions. nothing will be able to logically justify her actions. but caitlyn is human. she makes mistakes, and because she is in a position of power, her mistakes affect a lot of people.
