I find it very neat that both Blasphemous games have pre-final-boss bosses be harder/more intense than the final bosses themselves.
Like, there's something almost inspiring in the fact that no amount of godly power, no amount of big projectiles or exploding pillars of energy and no matter how big and towering and divine said being is; it can't hope to achieve the intensity and seriousness of a skilled weapon-wielder giving their all to slay you, getting into your face, punishing you with counters or quick jabs
That's some human spirit vs the overwhelming universe type shit

Ok so I got myself Scarlet Hollow because I really liked Slay the Princess and figured that if the devs put in the same amount of effort into it then it'll be an enjoyable experiance.
