The retirement's going great!
Hear me out bro
This fic is not suitable for minors. It contains sexual relationships, accidental pregnancy, substance abuse, withdrawal, and addiction. This is a sequel fic.
“I’m only doing this as a favor to All Might, by the way,” Tsukauchi says as he walks with you through security.
“You say that as if you don’t drive me around everywhere all the time,” you tell him.
A security officer escorts the two of you through the prison. He doesn’t speak, completely ignoring your conversation.
Tsukauchi adds, “All Might should be able to walk a bit more soon, so the arrangement will come to an end.”
“Well, that’s a shame, I thought we were getting really close, Tsukauchi-san.”
He sighs at your teasing, and it makes you smile. The whole atmosphere feels as sterile as a hospital. A man in a tan colored jumpsuit mops up some pale colored slop on the floor, and his eyes widen as you look at him. The officer glares at him, and the man continues his business. As you pass, he offers a sly smirk and a wave. Wondering whether or not you should acknowledge him, you wave softly anyway.
Tsukauchi scolds you, “Don’t [...] with the inmates, there’s already enough controversy going on.”
“What controversy?” you ask.
“The one regarding your special Hero Billboard Chart for villains. I’ve heard reports from lots of prisons that some inmates think you’re still on their side. If he’s a sympathizer, then it could lead to a riot. So please don’t do anything that could insinuate something.”
“I was just waving.”
The officer finally speaks up. “You may have been just waving, but to him, that could’ve been seen as a proposal.”
“That’s crazy,” you tell him.
“It might seem crazy, but who’s to say inmates won’t start asking you to pardon them? Who’s to say that guy doesn’t actually hate you and wants you dead? That wave could’ve been an opening to kill you. The opinion about you is pretty divided around here—believe me I know. Inmates only have time for shitting and talking,” the officer finishes.
There’s another security officer posted outside the door that you stop at. The two greet each other.
“I’ll let you speak privately, but know that there’s still a CCTV camera watching for safety purposes,” Tsukauchi tells you.
“You’re so considerate,” you respond dryly.
He doesn’t roll his eyes, but you can sense that he wants to. “It’s standard protocol. Nothing personal.”
“It’s fine. I’ll just have to speak to him in code if we’re going to create a jailbreak plan.” You smirk.
“Enough jokes. You have thirty minutes.”
Tsukauchi nods as the security guard opens the door. In the center of the room sits a table with a chair. The man with a mop of curly brown hair sits with his back towards you. He’s in a wheelchair and there’s a machine connected to his side. It hums softly as it works to keep his vitals stable. His head turns slightly to see who approaches him, but he softens seeing it’s you.
“Well, it’s about time. I thought you had forgotten all about me,” he says in English.
“I could never forget you, Mister.” You take a seat across from him.
His hands are fully cuffed in some weird contraption to prevent him from using his quirk. You noticed how he was given a new prosthetic, one very basic looking and not as useful as the one the PLF had gotten him.
“With a face like that, how could I forget you,” you add.
He smiles charmingly, and says with a soft laugh, “Don’t flatter me, I’ll get flustered.”
“I missed you. There’s a lot to update you on.”
“If this is about your stunt at the Hero Billboard Chart ceremony, I’m already aware. You’re quite popular here, you know.”
“So I’ve heard. What’s the real gossip amongst inmates?”
“Some of them think it’s great that you hailed the villains as heroes and stood your ground so publicly. Others think it was a mockery. Either way, people are talking about you.”
“I can’t believe they’re gossiping about me even in prison.” You groan and bury your head in your arms on the table. “I can’t escape it at all.”
“No offense, but it is the natural consequence for what you did. Does it matter though—what other people say? You have a chance to do something with this.”
“I don’t even know what to do though. I only did it to bring justice to our names. There were so many defamatory articles. People were saying the craziest things that weren’t even true at all.”
“So you got the truth out. Now figure out your next steps.”
You groan again, but Mister chuckles at your dramatics.
“You’ve grown a lot,” he notes.
“I’ve been through a lot,” you respond.
“I meant physically.”
“Wow, thanks.”
“I just mean the baby is starting to show. How are you going to keep hiding the truth?”
“I have no idea. I was just going to let him handle it I suppose.”
“Have you discussed that with him?”
You’re quiet for a moment, scrunching your face to avoid having to tell Mister the truth. “Not really…”
“I don’t blame you, but the stakes are pretty high for you both. Definitely consider it before the baby comes.”
“I’ve been a bit preoccupied.”
“Oh? Is there a new man in the picture, then?” He flashes his theatrical smirk.
“Ha ha, very funny. Obviously no. All Might adopted me and we moved house.”
“Ah, I see you’re really moving up in the world. So have I, as I was assigned to a new room, and this one is more private.”
“Well that’s good. It’s good, right?”
“They gave me this machine and chair so I can be a bit more mobile. But they changed out my prosthetic when they found out I was using my quirk to sneak food back into my bunk.”
You gawk at him, wondering if he’s joking, but the smile plastered on his face says otherwise.
“Why were you hoarding food in your marbles?” you ask.
“They only give us food during meal times and I was getting hungry at night. Also the oatmeal makes a good paste when mixed with toilet paper to make earplugs. Anyway, at least I won’t have to deal with Geten snoring anymore.”
“So, this is what prison is like, I suppose. Wait, you were rooming with that ice bastard?!”
“Not by my choice, obviously. You’re lucky that you got away with being pardoned. Have you been able to meet with Spinner or Dabi?”
“Spinner, yes, but I haven’t gone to see Dabi yet. I get updates from his brother.”
“How are they doing?”
“Spinner’s extra quirks have taken a toll on his body, but he’s stable these days. I still can't see him frequently though. I kind of snuck in last time. As for Dabi, Shouto says he’s able to stay awake for eight minutes a day now. Which is good, but the doctors don’t know if he’ll improve any more than that.”
Mister furrows his brow. “He’ll die in there eventually. You know that, right?”
You’re quiet. It’s a fact that you’ve been avoiding. His body is barely kept alive by a team of doctors tending to him constantly. His will is keeping him alive more, but eventually it won’t be enough and his body will shut down. You know this. Everyone knows this. Yet, you’ve all been avoiding the harsh reality.
“I don’t want to think about it. I’ve lost enough people I care about already,” you say.
“I know it must be hard to see him like that, but it would be best to try.”
“Don’t nag me, I know it is. I’ll go see him soon and give you some real updates…”
“Speaking of updates, what else do you have to tell me?” he asks.
You use up your time to talk with him. You tell him the details of Hawks pardoning you and hiring you as his assistant. You explain how All Might proposed your adoption following the war. You tell him about your new house and your plans to raise your child there. You vent your worries about Spinner and Dabi, while also taking the time to mourn together for Himiko and Tomura. He tells you more about his prison escapades in hopes of bringing a smile to your face. Every minute feels precious, and being with Mister fills a void that’s been left in your heart. His charm makes you laugh, but it leaves you with an ache in your heart that he’s not coming home with you. Time passes all too quickly. Soon enough the thirty minutes pass, and Tsukauchi returns to retrieve you.
“I’ll talk to someone and see if I can get my number added to your approved caller list so we can talk more frequently,” you tell him.
You bend down to give him a hug before you go. He holds you tightly to him, savoring his last moment with you.
“Until we meet again, my dear friend,” he whispers into your ear.
The pang in your heart makes your eyes sting. “Until then.”
Until I can get your ass out of here, so you can know freedom once again.

I'm doing little scenarios for now until my short stories are ready.
They go straight for neck, a nice mark for others to see: Gang Orca, Stain, Nine, SHIGARAKI, Twice, Natsuo Todoroki.
These ones are a bit more modest and keep it to the shoulders and chest hidden away from public view: Shinso, Kirishima, Toshinori Yagi, Nighteye, Chronostasis, Yokumiru Mera.
They want to make sure you feel the love mark, even if it is hidden from public view: Shoto Todoroki, Present Mic, Edgeshot, Fatgum, Mr. Compress, Overhaul.
They give zero f*cks and wants them everywhere on you: BAKUGO, Aizawa, HAWKS, Mummy.
Hi love your work!! Was wondering if you could write the MHA boys (with dabi & hawks) hearing you sing the lyrics to Juno by Sabrina carpenter? ❤️
Love the new theme btw!!
MIGHT LET YOU MAKE ME JUNO ☆ MHA
⊹₊˚. featuring midoriya izuku, bakugo katsuki, todoroki shōto, kaminari denki, keigo takami, dabi, and their reactions to a lyric prank!
warnings. 18+, implied f! reader, discussions of pregnancy, suggestive & crack content lol
xoxo, juno. thank u for your request nonnie <33 i thought i’d try something new instead of writing.. comment & rb if you enjoyed!
no because its that they're the fear responses. the todoroki children are all just the fear responses. touya is fight, natsuo is flight, shoto is freeze, and fuyumi is fawn. when you stare down abuse every day you have to react somehow, and they all just developed different methods of coping with it
hi cutie :))))
"Cutie"? Odd.
