dog park
Leah Williamson x Reader
hope you enjoy!
p.s ACLs donât exist in this reality
ââââââââââââââââââââââââ
Thankfully, for the third time this week you were able to let everyone go home early. To go enjoy the ends of their day instead of being stuck in the office.
This also made you quite content cause you were able to go for a walk in the warmer than usual London weather, and take your dog with you. The poor dog that sits around your house all day while you are at work.
You quickly packed up your things and were driving through the cityâs peak hour, eager to go home and grab your dog to take him to the dog park before the sun went down.
It took you longer than expected on the road, so you just pulled inside. Staying in your white button up shirt and jeans and grabbed your dog and his leash. You changed into white sneakers that were at your front door and deciding on just driving to take your dog to the park.
You found a little bench as you slightly smiled at the image of your dog running around in front of you. âYeah go Bub â you said to your dog at your feet before throwing his tennis ball far.
Before your dog could run and catch it another dog managed to grab it and start running away, your dog chasing after it.
âSorryâ a voice slightly laughed behind you. You turned around to find the most beautiful blonde you had ever seen in your life,
âNo they are just playingâ you giggled
âYeahâ she said folding her arms and watching the dogs.
âWhat breed is that?â
âMy dog?â
âYeahâ you said
âOh sheâs a cavaliarâ
âCuteâ you smiled softly, keeping your eyes on both of your dogs playing together
âIâm just gonna guess you have a retriever thereâ she nodded towards your big blonde dog running around
âUh yeah thats Mollyâ
âAw. Iâm jealousâ
âWhyâ you laughed turning to her. She shuffled up to stand next to you instead of slightly behind you
âCause sheâs a golden retriever. A dream dog mateâ
âYours is adorable stop. Whatâs her name?â You smiled at the blonde next to you
The girl didnât speak for a moment. Eyes fixated on your face for longer than she thought. âOh Bellaâ
âI love herâ you said in awe as you noticed her running towards you guys, then running up to you before you crouched down to her level. âHi Bellaâ you said in your annoying dog voice. Your dog immediately attacking Bellaâs owner now.
You both got up and dusted the shed fur off your clothes. âIâm Leahâ she said smiling after folding her arms again to keep warm.
âIâm y/nâ you grinned and nodded back
âBeautiful to meet you y/n, hey whatâs the time actually?â She said motioning to the watch on your wrist.
âUh five to fiveâ
âShit how is it five already. I have to be somewhere soon and I have to walk. Bella come girl!â She said quickly pulling Bellaâs leash out of her back pocket and clipping it on the small dog
âNice to meet youâ you said and smiled as she got up to leave
âYou too! Hey you come often?â She slightly yelled, because she had started to quickly walk out of the park to be at her plans tonight.
âYeah most Afternoonsâ you smiled
âIâll see you aroundâ she grinned before turning around and starting to Jog with Bella beside her. You smiled to yourself. Leah was a very pretty girl.
âCome on Mollyâ you yelled before your dog heard the sound of her name and sped up towards you.
âââââââââââââââââ
It was a Saturday which meant, you hadnât been to the office thankfully, you knew you would have to do some small things for your company tonight. But you were now enjoying your weekend, alone in your home.
You were in your car on the way back from the mall, after treating yourself to a few new things. The London traffic continued to piss you off even when you werenât working that day. After being stuck in a line of cars, you banged your forehead on the steering wheel with a groan.
When you got home it was slightly later in the afternoon than you had hoped. But you decided it wasnât going to stop you from doing the walk to the dog park instead of driving.
Opening the gate to the dog area, you took off Mollyâs Leash to go find other dogs while you slowly walked around the park. When you sat down on a bench, an older man who you found quite adorable made conversation about how beautiful your dog was, a conversation which you happily carried on.
While talking, you noticed your Molly playing with a familiar dog, the chocolate coloured dog that happens to belong to the beautiful blonde you met here two days ago.
After the older man next to you finished his next sentence. You quickly exused yourself saying you needed to check something on your dog, which sounded plainly stupid.
You wouldnât lie if you said you felt bad about leaving the man to sit by himself, but you also wouldnât be lying if you said you were eager to come across Leah.
You found a girl with a ponytail and matching blue sweats, hunched over her phone sitting at a bench.
âDo you also come oftenâ you said walking up to her, probably seeming like a creep, you feared.
âOh hello youâ she said shutting of her phone, her charming words making your heart want to melt.
âI saw Bella and wondered if Leah would be hereâ the fact you remembered even her dogs name and her name from two days ago, made her face warm up.
âThey are both hereâ she smiled up at you, âwanna sit?â She asked motioning the spot on the bench next to her.
âHow close do you live to here?â You asked, again trying not to sound weird.
âUgh I walk and thatâs about 10 minutes. Itâs up that wayâ Leah said pointing to the streets to the left of the park. âWhat about you?â
â20 minute walk. Same wayâ you smiled, motioning towards the same direction Leah pointed to a moment ago. You sat in silence for another moment, watching your dogs become actual good friends. âSo Leah what do you do?â
Inside, she hated being asked that question sometimes, just when it was someone she found quite intriguing and beautiful. âUm Iâm a footballerâ
âNo way. What club?â You said now facing her, now extremely interested in the girl
âUm Arsenalâ she said slightly laughing, in her head she didnât know why she did that and suddenly got nervous.
âAre you pissing me?â You asked, quite shocked that she just mentioned that she played for the club you had been passionate about since you were born.
âNopeâ she blushed âI play for the womenâs team there, WSLâ
âNo way!â You said excitedly âdo you play for England?â You asked
âYeah I captain the womenâs team there tooâ she smiled at you charmingly. You did not expect her to say yes to your question.
âHuh!â You exclaimed, understanding what she was saying. Just so shocked.
âI donât know if I should feel happy or like notâ she laughed at your reactions, furrowing her eyebrows.
âNo happy duh! I love football, only played when I was young but like Leah thatâs like wowâ
âThatâs great-â
âShit you won the euros!â Now remembering hearing about the Lionesses. You knew who the team was, of course you did. You didnât know the players though.
âYeah we didâ she grinned, very wide.
âSorry I knew who the Lionesses were I swear. And the Arsenal Women. I just didnât know anyone on the teams. Sorry thatâs not very feminist of me, I should knowâ you said quickly, making Leah laugh. The wife smile not leaving her face.
âItâs not your fault. More people should know about womenâs footballâ
âI agree. And It starts with me and watching the gamesâ you said as you both laughed.
âAnd what do you doâ she said lightly tapping your shoulder, the tingle it sent through your body not leaving for a while.
âUmm Im a CEO of my architecture companyâ you said, eyes now on the dogs far from both of you
âDang woman, that sounds big. Your successful it seemsâ she said smiling, eyes and body facing you on the bench as you nervously kept yourself fixated on whatâs in front.
âComing from the England Captainâ
Your own success did make you proud of yourself you wonât lie, and like Leah, you liked telling people what you do. But sometimes got strangely nervous, especially around beautiful girls.
You pair didnât realise how long you had actually been sitting on the bench talking about anything and everything. âI should go and see what Iâll do about my dinnerâ Leah huffed slowly getting up.
Leah wanted to ask for your number. She really did.
But as usual got way too nervous.
âYeah Iâll head off tooâ you smiled at the slightly taller girl.
âHey you all good to walk back? I drove so I could always drop you home or somethingâ Leah asked before wanting to slap herself at her probably stupid words
âOh no I should walk back Iâll be ok. Thank you Leahâ you said sweetly.
Leah was kicking herself. She immediately felt you thought she was just trying to flirt with you the whole afternoon. Which she wasnâtâŠtrying to.
When you got home 20 minutes later, you quickly showered before heating up left overs from last nights meal. You sat down on your couch, Love Island UK on the tv in front of you as well as your MacBook, hopping on the internet to find out some more about Leahâs teams. You wouldnât search up the girl directly, you found that weird and creepy.
Plus, you would much rather hear all about her from Leah herself.
âââââ
You finished work later than you had hoped one night. But still remember you promised to go for late-night ice cream with your best friend Stella. Once you got home and changed into something much more comfy and warmer than your blazer and suit pants.
âOne scoop Chocolate pleaseâ you smiled at the teenage boy serving Stella and you.
âCup?â
âErm cone pleaseâ you said politely. After he handed you the desert and you paid, you waited for Stella to order herâs when a group of women walked in. All in matching red hoodies.
Leahâs eyes immediately fell onto your side profile that hadnât turned to her and her friends just yet, her heart warmed slightly when she realised it was you, the girl from the dog park, the one she blushed to her teammates about.
After you had noticed the group of girls, all walking in laughing from something an Irish girl was going on about. Your eyes finally fell on the certain England Captain. You smiled and shyly waved at her.
She waved back before one of her friends pulled her to choose flavours.
You folded your arms in warmth as you and Stella walked out of the small store, taking a seat at the tables outside.
âSorry I didnât fully see. But did you just wave at the girls in the Arsenal hoodies?â Stella asked curiously
âUm yeah I know one of them, Leahâ
âYou know who sorry-â
âLeah Williamsonâ you smiled as you played with the spoon in your hand
âFucking Leah Williamson?!â she clarifies, showing on her face her shocked expression.
âYes I see her when I take Molly to the park. Sheâs great to talk to actuallyâ you said before your spoonful of ice cream back in your mouth.
âPlease get with herâ Stella mumbled
âWhatâ you said
âIâm joking. But sheâs really really pretty. Get to know her. She also you know like won the euros, plays for Arsenal and is huge. Do you even know these things?â
âIâve seen her four times in my whole life firstly. And Yes I do-â you said before the bell of the shopâs door rang as Leah and her friends piled out of the store. She stopped where you were sitting whilst her friends found a table.
âHello you againâ she said smiling warmly down at you
âHi. Guess we do live pretty closeâ you slightly laughed
âYes we do. How you been?â She asks you
âIâve been great. How are you doing? Are they teammates?â You asked motioning to the group of girls, most of them smiling at your interactions. Which you quickly shied away from them.
âIâve been great. We actually just played a game, was a friendly though so pretty chill. And yes they are my teammatesâ she grinned raising her eyebrows
âHowâd you guys goâ
âThree, Nilâ
âLeah thatâs awesome!â You said tapping her hand in excitement that was resting on the back of your chair.
âThanksâ she smiled shrugging her shoulders, nervously. âHi Iâm Leahâ Leah said dipping her head slightly at a stunned Stella behind you.
âHi, Iâm Stellaâ she waved
âLovely to meet youâ she smiled before her eyes were brought back to you.
âYour ice cream might melt. Iâll let you goâ you said nodding to her friends at another table
âThanks but Hey itâs weird but could I get your number in my phone? Just so like I know when youâll be at the park and-â she started to ramble.
âYes of courseâ you smiled up at her before she gladly pulled out her phone and unlocked it so you could type in your number.
âSee you aroundâ she said happily before heading back to her friends.
âYeah Williamson!â Katie said pulling the blonde down roughly to sit on the chair, too loud for Leahâs embarrassment.
âThat was adorableâ Caitlin said calmly
âSmooth one you areâ Beth said, all eyes now on you talking to Stella from across the outdoor area of tables.
âI wouldnât call it that smooth. âJust so I know when youâll be at the parkââ Katie laughed, mimicking when Leah tried to get your number.
âShut up and eat that before it goes down your jumperâ Leah said motioning to Katieâs melted ice cream she was eating.
ââââââââââââââââââââââââ

you smiled at your phone at the sweet texts. Now genuinely getting really excited for the game tomorrow
ââââââââââââ-
âCome on. You look beautiful I promise letâs just go pleaseâ you begged as Stella finished up the light waves in her hair
âWhy thank youâ she grinned, not hurrying up
âGirl Iâm literally gonna leave my house, lock it up, and drive to the emirates without youâ you said as you walked back up to your room so you could grab your bag. Stella stayed over last night and stayed in the guest house next to your pool, you found her slowly getting ready in there.
âOk im ready how do i lookâ she said meeting you at the front door, shoes in hand and bag across her body.
âFineâ
âBitchâ
âIâm joking you look beautiful. Itâs just football though. Now what about me I donât want to have to ask Stellaâ you said as you locked your door behind you.
âStunning for the Ms Williamsonâ she said, dragging out the Blonde you were talking toâs last name.
You lightly laughed before you both got into your blue Mercedes and drove to the emirates.
When arrived, you offered to grab you and Stella a drink while she found your seats. She texted you were to walk to after you had grabbed the drinks.
âSoâ Stella pipped up slightly as you handed her a drink before sitting down
âSo?â
âSo Leah was just warming up. Theyâve gone into the changing rooms again now, but she looked straight over here and was defieblty looking for someone. Hmâ Stella said curiously
âWonder who sheâs looking for thenâ you said shrugging and smiling
âDuh itâs youâ
âI highly doubt that Leah Williamson was looking for me in the crowdâ
âI just want to know how she knew where to look in the first placeâ
âWe were talking last nightâ
âYou called her!â Stella shrieked
âNo no just told her I was coming to the game and stuffâ
âOh my I am so happy for youâ
âNothing is happening. Also I forgot to tell you but she offered to get us better seats, but I felt badâ
âWhy did you decline-â
âIt just feltâŠI donât know, but beautiful you got us brilliant seats!â You said grinning as you pulled your best friend into your side
âYeah yeah but Leah Williamson provided seats wouldâve been a preferenceâ
You both watched as Leah and her team piled out in a line from the tunnel before lining back up again on the pitch.
-Leahâs POV-
I scanned the audience once again. In hope for the shy girl. My eyes fell on my excited mum as I smiled wide and smiled waved at her. Still trying to get my head in the game space.
But in a way quickly fell off that track as my eyes found the beaming Brunette in the audience, she laughed loudly as her friend, Stella, I think I remember, whispered something in her ear.
In that moment in felt like the rest of the crowd was muted and I could make out only the sound of her laugh from when I made her laugh multiple times at the park.
Both Stella and y/n eyes drifted to me and the girls after their giggle and y/n finally found me.
Her cheeks fell a light shade of pink, as I felt mine turn crimson. She waved sweetly with the hand that laid in her lap. I waved shortly back as we both just chuckled for no reason, I didnât know why I always caught myself doing that around her, even now when she was so far away from me.
She held up a red sign, a 50c poster you can buy from the Gunnersaurus at the front of the stadium âCome on you Gunners!â Was read on the red cardboard as she waved it for me.
I laughed at her actions before she quickly put it back in her lap and laughed nervously to the girl next to her.
âHead in the game ya lover girlâ Vic whispered in my ear from next to me, before we prepared to take our spots on the field.
-end of POV-
âââââ
After only 8 minutes of the girls playing against the rival club, Chelsea. Beth Mead slotted the ball past the goal keeper, erupting you and the other supporters around you into cheers.
âMeadoâs on Fire! Your Defense is terrified! Meados on Fire! Na na naâŠâ
Stella informed you that it was in fact Beth Meadâs chant that was being sung loudly around you two. Stella tried to join in as you just laughed at your surroundings.
By the final whistle, another three goals made it into the net and you stood up and cheered loudly at the victory over Chelsea. Stella and you stood up and cheered for a little longer, before everyone started to leave so you started to gather your cups to throw in the bin and put your bag on your shoulder.
âOh my y/nâ Stella said as she waved at the field. Leah was waving to the two of you as she slowly walked over, Stella pulled you down with her to the bottom of the seats.
âDidnât think Iâd spot youâ Leah laughed
âI think youâre spotting me all around Londonâ you said making all three of you laugh
âDid you enjoy it?â
âOh yes! Great job out there you played amazingâ you exclaimed
âThank youâ Leah said leaning back with her hands on the barricade bar as she blushed.
âOkay well Iâll let you get back with your teamâ you smiled wide at the blonde below you
âOkay Iâll see you laterâ she smiled hoping she would see you again in the next few days. As she watched you walk off, she felt she missed something. âActually y/nâ Leah yelled your way while you were walking away, you very quickly spun around and walked back down to Leah as Stella kept on walking up the stadium
âYeahâ you said shyly as Leah just threw her head down, shaking her head with a laugh, âwhat?â You said confused as you laughed with her slightly
âWhat are you doing tonight?â She asked. It was only just after 4 oâclock, meaning that tonight actually meant quite soon.
âUmm nothing actuallyâ you said
âCan I ask if you want to go for dinner with me? I totally totally understand-â
âYes Leah yes I will of courseâ you said blushing even harder
âReally?â She said, she looked up at you with the smile of curiosity like a 3 year old. You just nodded fast.
âOkay well now I should definitely get back in. But Iâll text you when I get in there. Iâll pick you up yeahâ Leah said as you both took a glance at her teammates that were giggling at your interaction for the second time. You smiled at the girls as they waved excitedly at you, the girl Leah was talking about in trainings, not to your knowledge.
Leah knew she probably shouldâve asked if you wanted to meet one or two of them. But she was still slightly frozen in her words. âOkay then Iâll see you tonight then Leahâ you said to the blonde
âByeâ she smiled before you both parted ways
âAnd sheâs bagged the chick!â Kyra says jumping on Leahâs back as she walks back to her teammates.
âOiâ Leah says shrugging her off
âSeriously though, did you ask her out?â Caitlin says with a laugh, in hope she asked this time
âYes I did. Count me out of team dinner tonight!â Leah said before walking into the tunnel to the changing rooms
ââââââââ
âI canât believe you. Your so powerfulâ your best friend said as she stood in the door Frame of your bathroom, while you straightened out the waves in your hair from the plat you wore to the game
âUh powerful?â You said furrowing your eyebrows, eyes kept on the hot hair tool in your hand
âYouâre about to go out with Leah Williamson, who you casually met at a scrappy dog park a week and half agoâ
Usually you would rebuttal her, you didnât see this as powerful in any way, but you were happy to be going on a date with the girl. She seemed so genuine to you when you talked and you really appreciated that about her personality.
Well you werenât even 100% sure if it was an offical date.
You walked into your living room with your outfit on, a short white skirt with a matching top as a set, with a navy blazer. âIs this ugly?â You asked your best friend sprawled out on your couch.
âHoly shit you look angelicâ
âThank you. So definitely this?â You asked again
âDo not take it offâ she said settling it back into the couch, approving of your outfit, âonly Leah will do that tonightâ she mumbled the last bit.
âOi I heard thatâ you said shooting your head out from the hallway as you went to grab some things from your room.
âAlso when I go, are you just gonna stay here orâ
âNo Iâll let you have your house back to yourself Iâve overstayed my visitâ she said smiling
âYou could never ever overstayâ you said hugging her from behind the couch. Before you felt a vibration in the bag on your shoulder, âokay Leah is here wish me luck Sâ you said pecking her cheek
âHave the best time. Please text me. I can pick you up. And Iâll leave In a minute and lock upâ she reassured as you made your way to your door
âDonât worry about me or hassling to leave. Just lock my door if you do. Byeâ you said before blowing her a kiss
You heard Leahâs car engine outside your driveway gate, so you opened it up before walking to her car which was parked closer to your neighbours house.
She looked up from her lap in the car, to see you waking to her car. She seemed to panic and quickly got out of the car.
âThought you lived thereâ she said pointing to the house next to you.
âNope wrong houseâ you said as you finally reached the blonde
âHeyâ she smiled softly, tilting her head to the side a tad. Before you hugged her, which she didnât think you would do straight away, but she immediately hugged you back.
âHi Leahâ you said after pulling away. âYou look stunningâ you said looking at her outfit
âComing from you gorgeous, Jesus Iâm flatteredâ she said making you chuckle slightly. âYou look incredible. You ready?â She asked before you nodded and she opened the car door for you.
âToo kind.â You said up at her before she gently shut the door. Your palms started to sweat, as you quickly brushed them on your skirt. Leah was making you extra nervous in her tight long sleeve black top and cream-coloured skirt that fitted her perfectly.
âWant to know where Iâm taking youâ she asked after she started her car.
âObviouslyâ
âItâs an underground restaurant my brother recommended to me. Sounds dodgy I know, but itâs quite nice actually. He went there for his birthday with my dad and they said it was amazingâ
âSounds Perfectâ you said
âReally?â
âYes really. I think I know which one your talking about, saw it on instagram I thinkâ
ââââ-
Leah ordered a bottle of red wine for the table, which you thanked her for. You sat in the lovely restaurant talking for what felt like an hour, before you decided it was best to probably order food.
When both your mealâs came, you thanked the waiter before you both quickly dug in.
âI should have gotten thatâ you said Ponting to Leahâs dish with your fork. Which was a nervous mistake.
âWhyâ Leah chuckled slightly
âLooks amazingâ
âWe can swap I donât mind-â
âNo no no thatâs how it sounded I know, but Iâm just saying yours looks good. Iâm more than happy with mineâ
âWell then your trying someâ
âNo itâs okay you dig inâ you said
âGo onâ she said pushing her plate slightly towards you
âNo Leah Iâm okay seriouslyâ
âY/n put some of the food your forkâ Leah said raising her eyebrows and using a slightly lower voice, before you quickly poked the utensil into a small bite of her food
âYou happy?â You said with a slight smile as Leah nodded, ânow youâ you said pushing your plate towards the blonde
âHappilyâ she shrugged before collecting a mouthful of your meal on her fork.
âOkay now that I have ranted about mine. Tell me about your familyâ you said
â okay well Iâm grateful that most of my family lives here, but my brother moved to Australia a bit agoâ Leah said
âOh wow I love Australiaâ
âYou do?â Leah asked before shoving her fork into her mouth
âYeah I went on exchange there in Highschool. My dream was to move there but I started my career here and stayed. What about your mum? I noticed you talking to her at the game before you saw me today â
âAt the game? Trust me I saw you the minute I walked out for warm upâ
âYou did?â You asked, eyes slightly in awe.
Leahâs reaction was a wave of blush to her checks and a massive shrug that brought all the way up to her face, smile wide as ever.
âWell anyways your mum looks lovelyâ you said
âYeah she is lovely, she isâ Leah laughed before going on about her mother , her laugh causing you to do the same and smile. The girlâs laugh very quickly became contagious to you. Her smile was bright and genuine.
âââââ
You were at the restaurant for too long. According to the waiter. So when the waitress handed you the bill, he placed it in front of Leah, which you quickly pulled away towards you and placed your card inside and then handing it back to waiter.
After he walked away Leah wined âno I was supposed to pay that was the planâ
âYeah well my plan was to pay also and look who wonâ you said with a shit eating grin, amusement covered in your face at Leahâs dismay.
âThank youâ you and Leah smiled to the front waitress before she opened the door for you.
The London air was colder outside as you threw the blazer back onto yourself again. âIce cream?â You said Pointing to the ice cream place situated across the street from where you were
âObviouslyâ Leah quickly said before throwing her arm around your shoulders, pulling you into her side as you both walked.
âââââ
âIâd thank our dogs for this dateâ Leah said as youâd finally found a cute bench near a park to sit down while the eating your ice creams.
âItâs a date?â
âI meanâŠâ Leah said. She was right. You would have to be knocked out to see it wasnât, because it most definitely was.
âJust kidding. Of course it is. And I thank your dogâ
âWhyâ Leah laughed
âMolly doesnât like making friends. When I take her to the dog park, she walks around and sniffs weeds by herself, then she takes a shit before she runs back to me signalling sheâs ready to get in the carâ
âLittle princess huhâ Leah said âdoes she get that from you?â
âFirst off, I wouldnât call that princess behaviour at all. Two, no Leah my dog is not like meâ you said with a hum.
After a little longer, You got back to Leahâs car and she was dropping you off.
Leah went on slightly a bit about her interest in Country music, which you complimented her on as soon as a Luke Combs song came up in the car. âI actually went to his concertâ Leah said from the seat next to you as she drove
âNo way me tooâ you exclaimed turning to the girl
âReally?! Wow it was awesome ayâ
âYeah it wasâ you smiled.
After a significantly fast but enjoyable 15 minutes, Leahâs car had reached your house. It started raining on the drive and it hadnât yet stopped âum where should I stop?â Leah asked looking around the front of your house from her car
âSince itâs raining do you mind if you drive in a bit. After this gate there is a bit of a drive way which takes me like 5 mins to walkâ
âYeah no of courseâ Leah assure you
âPerfectâ you smiled before pointing to Leah where to stop the car while you jumped oit of the car quickly to punch in your front code. The gates slowly opened as you ran back into Leahâs car. When you got in you were quite wet, causing both of you to laugh.
âHoly shit I love your houseâ Leah admired as she drove up from the gate
âThank you Leahâ you smiled
âHow long have you lived here?â
âIâve had this place for 4 years but I knocked it down 3 years ago completely rebuiltâ
âDesigned by you?â She asked
âYesâ
âI loveâ
You sat in silence for a quick second before Leah spoke up again âcâmon Iâll walk you to the doorâ
You both got out as you quickly grabbed Leahâs hand and pulled her to your door. Once you got to the door and you let go of her hand, it took Leah slightly longer to let go. âThanks for tonight. I had the best time in a whileâ you smiled softly, your dimples showing significantly, which made Leah want to melt into a puddle with the rain right there and then.
âMe too. And Iâm glad you had a great timeâ she smiled.
âIâd love to do it again soonâ
âAs soon as we possible can?â Leah asked
âOf courseâ you said
âOkay well Iâll let you get some sleepâ Leah said softly before she hugged you tightly.
âThanks again. Next time Iâll take you somewhere, so check ur textsâ
âWouldnât miss itâ the blonde smiled
âAnd Iâll be at your next gameâ you winked at her
âThat means a lot to me. And good luck with your work thingo tomorrow. Smash it for meâ
âWill do Williamson. Goodnightâ you said with a warm smile once again
âNight y/nâ Leah said before spinning around to her car and you unlocked your door to your house. âText me when you get home safely-â you yelled out to her, back to her car still as you were opening your door. You didnât notice her grab the end of your hand and spin you towards her quickly as she kissed you.
The kiss made your head spin wild. You hadnât been kissed in what felt like ages.
Well, Lie, you kissed a rando at a bar for a few seconds last week while you were drunk. But it was besides the point and didnât count.
You quickly kissed the girl back. The feeling of Leahâs lips finally reaching yours was beautiful to you. When she slowly pulled away, you both blushed while looking into each otherâs eyes.
Eye contact. Something the English captain did all too well.
âSorry I donât usually do that on a first dateâ Leah breathed out quietly before you gently grabbed her cheek and kissed her again for a captured second.
âNeither. But I didnât mind that at all. Thank you again Leahâ
âThank you y/n. Iâll actually let you go now. Iâll text you when I get homeâ she smiled at you
âYou betterâ you said to her as you watched her walk to the car from your front door. You waved to her car sweetly, before heading inside and shutting your door. You jumped on the spot for a moment, like a small girl. As you walked to the kitchen so you could call your best friend, biting your lip with a cheesy grin on your face.
âââââ
It had been two months of seeing Leah. Whether it was after the four games you had been to since your first, planned visits at the dog park, at each others houses or cute low-key dates.
No labels yet.
You and Leah connected so beautifully fast, that it just felt a tiny bit too soon to put a label on anything. You both, for now, just enjoyed each other company. Sharing a few kisses everyone now and then. Thatâs all.

Okay we are ready. Text me when you are here
You arrived at Leahâs house as she jumped in the front and put Bella in the back with your dog. âHiâ she pecked your lips as you drove off
âHelloâ
âIf we get frost bite i wonât hesitate to tell my coach it was your faultâ
âYou wouldnât. And no we wonât get frost bite now come onâ you said as you parked near the park and grabbed your umbrella to share.
Leah grabbed the umbrella from your hands as she was slightly taller, before she put it up and you both walked. You ended up just doing a walk around the park together a few times while your dogs ran free.
You would be lying if you said you didnât enjoy the rain. You found it fun being the rain. Just like you were a little girl again. You didnât know that Leah also found it enjoyable. âCâmon you know you want toâ Leah giggled as she put down the umbrella. Completely exposing both of you to the pouring water. She pulled your hand as you ran with her in the rain.
You couldnât stop laughing from happiness that when you both stopped running you both had to bend over and rest your hands on your knees. You stood up straight and pulled Leah up before pulling her into a passionate and long lasting kiss.
Your hands wrapped onto her neck as she dipped you slightly, causing you to squeal. She laughed at your own laugh as her hands wrapped around your waste before you jumped up into her arms, after the tap signal on your thigh from Leah.
âWill you be my girlfriendâ you smiled at you up in her arms
âHuh!â You said over the loud rain surrounding you
âWill you be my girlfriend!â She said louder
âGirlfriend?â You asked clarifying. She nodded fast. You just pulled her in for another passionate kiss. âOf course I will Leahâ you said as she spun you both around before your lips met once again.
ââââââââââââ
Sheesh this one was actually long for me
But might be one of my favs

Alexia Putellas x sisters best friend reader
Warnings: fluff, slight angst,
Alexia hadnât always liked you let alone love you, to her you where her little sisters annoying best friend who would do anything possible to annoy her daily. She would huff and roll her eyes every time you would bounce over and ask for her to watch a dance both yourself and Alba had just come up with, or slam her bedroom door in your face anytime you knocked, you where a constant pain back then.
But to Alba you were her best friend who had been there for her through her worst and best times. Alexia and Albas father had died when Alexia was 18 and Alba was 15 with you still being 14 and you had been Albas constant being there from the beginning of their worst nightmare until Alexia decided to shut you out. It was something you always brushed off stating it was understandable you werenât family and Alexia simply wanted to mourn such a massive loss with her sister and mother in private much to Albas dismay who constantly stated she needed you and Alexia had no right to push you away in that manner, especially when she knew how much you loved her sister.
Alva had been there for just as much as you had for her especially when her sister had began to date her teammate Jenni Hermoso breaking your heart in the process. Alexia didnât know of your feelings swearing Alba to secrecy but her constant show of affection towards Jenni at the Putellas family home saw you avoid the house much to the older girls delight.
Alexia didnât think she could dislike you anymore until in her words you âtried to take Alba away from her home.â You had been accepted into the Paris Opera Ballet School at the age of 18, she had screamed at you much to your, Eli and Albas horror, once again you had left the Putellas house on the older girls wishes only this time you didnât return, instead you said goodbye to your best friend and boarded a plane. A year later Alba flew out to you and never looked back instead she began flying around the globe with you as you began your professional Ballet career stating you need a reminder of home (her).
But now at the age of 25 you where heading home for the first time, you where taking a well deserved break before your next contract started up opting to travel home to spend time with family and friends.
Thatâs how Alexia found you relaxing on the couch in her family home âY/n.â You turned looking at the eldest Putellas smiling softly âHola Ale.â Alexia looked at you stunned âyouâŠyou are home.â You nodded âSĂ for a while I have a break in my contract so I thought why not.â Alexia nodded unable to take her eyes off of you âwell eh..itâs nice to see you.â You smiled brightly at her âitâs nice to see you too Ale.â Alexia let out a nervous laugh before rushing into the kitchen to find her mother as Alba trotted down the stairs âwhat was that.â You let out a huff âthat was me realising I might still have feelings for your sister Al.â Alba smacked you laughing âdios mĂo, y/n you told me you where done with her the night you left.â You shook your head âI know but Al, I forgot how hot your sister was.â Alba through a pillow at you head as you laughed.
You spent nearly every day at the Putellas house like the old days only this time Alexia didnât seem to care as much, maybe it was the fact she had her own place now but you often found her sitting watching movies with you and Alba or sitting at the dinner table having coffee in the morning. What blew your mind altogether was when she invited you on a night out with her teammates, âAlba will be there, but I just thought I would ask you know incase you wanted to meet them or just go out for the night.â You smiled happily nodding âIâd love to, eh Iâll be here at 7pm.â Alexia couldnât help the butterflies in her stomach âsounds good Osa.â You couldnât help but blush at the nickname remembering back to when the word adesoso used to follow after it.
You had been panicking since 4pm on the phone to Alba âI donât have clothes Al.â Alba huffed âyes you do amor, wear the black corset and trousers you know the leather ones and your boots you look hot in them.â You rolled your eyes âok are you sure.â Alba rolled her eyes âyou could wear a bin bag and Ale would think you are hot.â Three hours later you were stood outside the Putellas house nervously talking yourself up to ring the doorbell looking up suddenly when you head Alexiaâs voice âJoder, eres preciosa.â You looked down as your face reddened âGracias Ale.â You finally looked up staring at the older girl âwow Ale you look wow.â Alexia shook her head before grabbing your hand and pulling you in the door shouting out to Alba that you were here and ready to go.
Arriving at the club you scanned the room before catching eyes with Barcelonas best known defender âMapi.â Maria turned on a dime laughing as she ran to scoop you up âBebĂ© pequeño.â You laughed at the nickname you kissed her cheek as she put you down not turning as you felt a hand on your back thinking it was Alba âhow are you amor, what are you doing here, oh I have someone I want you to meet.â You laughed at Mapiâs excitement âMĂĄs despacio,Maria.â The hand left your back as Mapi dragged you towards the crowd âMi Vida I have someone you have to meet.â You froze slightly at the sight of the tall Norwegian until she smiled brightly at you âMaria did you kidnap a ballerina.â Mapi looked confused âeh no, this is Y/n mi BebĂ© pequeño.â Ingrid shook her head âno you kidnapped one of the best Ballerinas in the world.â You laughed shaking your head before putting your hand out to shake Ingridâs hand âHola, Iâm Y/n.â Ingrid looked surprised as you leaned into Mapi âhow do you two know each other.â You both looked at each other and laughed âAle and Alba.â Ingrid looked even more surprised before you began to explain âI grew up with Al, and then when I moved to Paris to study Alba followed me over a year later.â Ingrid looked stunned âI canât tell you how many times Iâve watched you perform either live or on screen you are incredible.â You felt your cheeks reddening at her compliment before a hand grabbed your back again, once again assuming it was Alba you relaxed into their arms âMy friends are actually trying to organise seeing you in Vienna.â Finally the voice behind you spoke causing you to stiffen âVienna.â You turned looking at Alexia âsĂ, I leave in two weeks to begin rehearsals and then my next show is in Paris and then my agent said something about dancing in London.â Alexia felt her stomach drop âso when are you coming home.â You looked at Alexia confused âprobably not for a while, why you arenât going to miss me.â You laughed half heartedly but stopped at Alexiaâs frowning features âof course I will.â You shook your head âyou hate me.â Alexia sighed âI donât hate you Osa, Iâve never hated you.â You wanted to push further but Alba grabbed your hand âCome on show off those moves we all know youâve got.â You couldnât help but look back at Alexia eyes softening as you looked at the frown spread across her face.
You had been dancing for hours getting lost in the moment with Alba like you both normally did, although this time you couldnât help but look for Alexia sighing every time you noticed her talking to someone else before shaking your head and going back to dancing. You stiffened suddenly as an unknown hand wrapped around your waist before someone began speaking to you âHola, guapa.â You turned looking at an unfamiliar face before smiling nervously âhola.â You turned looking for Alba before seeing her talking to a girl âitâs ok sheâs with my friend.â You looked at the strange woman confused âehh ok.â You quickly looked at the table of Barcelona players trying to catch someoneâs eye but finding no one, you couldnât help but squirm uncomfortably as the girls hand stayed on your waist squeezing it before you turned to Alba grabbing her hand âAl Por favor.â Alba simply brushed you off to busy batting her eyes at the girl she was flirting with âAl.â You tried again only to feel the random girl pull you towards her âhey why donât we go get a drink.â You shook your head âno gracias.â But she wasnât taking no for an answer as you put your hands on her shoulder trying to push her off you. You gasped quickly as you were pulled into a different pair of arms relaxing immediately as you took in Alexiaâs perfume unable to stop the gasp you let out âAle.â Alexia ignored you pulling you before she grabbed Alba âAl we are leaving.â Alba turned to argue before she caught your eyes and a worried expression spread across her face âwhat, what happened Y/n.â Alexia huffed âyou would know if you took your head out of that girls ass and stopped flirting with her.â Alba huffed pulling her sister back towards her âwhy do you care.â Alexia shook her head âleave it Alba, Iâm not doing this here.â Alba shook her head not taking that âno we are, you have hated Y/n since our friendship started, you havenât made it a secret so donât try to deny it.â Alexia huffed âI donât hate her.â Alba cut her off âyes you do.â Alexia was getting angry âno I donât, I love her.â Alba looked at her sister surprised âI love her, Iâm in love with her.â You looked surprised at Alexia âyou love me.â Alexia turned to you shocked âwellâŠ.iâŠ..ehm.â You grabbed the older girls face pulling her into a searing kiss âIâve wanted to do that since I was four years old.â Alexia laughed kissing you again âlet me take you home Osa.â
You groaned lightly turning to see Alexaâs relaxed features as sleep took over her body until she groaned at the sound of the knock on door until Eli pocked her head in âGracias a dios, you grew a pair Ale.â You couldnât help but laugh âhi Eli.â Eli smiled at you âPapa would be so happy.â Alexia looked at you smiling softly âI know, he told me if she wasnât going to be his daughter in law he would disown me.â You laughed pulling the older girl into a kiss âslow down mi amor, you only admitted to your love to me yesterday.â Alexia sighed happily âyeah but I know this is forever.â
i donât have an actual plot idea for this but could you write something with leah williamson x russo!reader?
Oh. Oh yes.
Is that alright? (Leah Williamson x Russo!Reader)
âLee, stop. I have to goâ you protested as she placed another kiss to your neck.
You were facing her bedroom door as she was trying to drag you backwards towards the centre of the room.
â5 more minutes, pleaseâ she mumbled, increasing the volume of kisses being pressed against you.
âCurfew was already an hour agoâ you huffed.
âSo, whatâs 5 more minutes then?â She smirked.
âAnd how will you explain if Kei or G just walk in?â You teased, eventually turning around so you could be face to face with her.
âWell firstly, I would remind them we have a curfewâ Leah laughed as you pushed her away from you. âOr maybe I would finally tell them that you are my girlfriend and have been forâ she held the last syllable while she dramatically looked at her watch. â2 years, 11 months, 30 days, 23 hours and 20 minutesâ
âI knowâ you got that she was hinting that you should stay. It was your 3 year anniversary and she wanted nothing more than you to just spend the night in her room. Regardless of the rules of camp and her being the captain of the team, the person who was meant to strive for excellence and be a good role model for the other players. But none of that mattered when it came to you.
âFine, but just tonight. And if we get caught I am telling them you kidnapped meâ you rolled your eyes as she cheered quietly.
âCome on thenâ she smiled taking your hand and leading you to the double bed placed in the centre of the room.
Kei
Come to my room
Now
G
Iâm in bed
Kei
NOW
It was the next morning when you woke to Leahâs never ending alarm.
âTurn it off Leahâ you groaned loudly. You hated that stupid alarm, it was the worst noise in the world.
She reached over and smacked her phone. She was unsure if sheâd turned the alarm off or broken her phone, but either way the alarm had stopped.
âMorningâ she smiled tiredly and placed a kiss on your lips.
âHappy anniversaryâ you kissed her back.
âHappy anniversary, loveâ
âHave you anything romantic planned?â You teased.
âI was thinking of jetting us off to Paris?â She smirked.
âHow convenientâ you giggled.
It was travel day, over to play France in Paris in a few days time.
âI should probably go and start packing then, should I?â You kissed her cheek.
âIâll be over in a few minutes to helpâ she smiled, full well knowing that was a lie.
âOh my dear sweet Leah, you know Iâll be back in a few minutes to pack up this messâ you moved your hands around the room, reiterating the state it was in as you burst out laughing.
âYeah, yeah. Well hurry back. Bus is in an hourâ she smirked as she stretched back into the bed.
You went back to your room, quickly sprinting the few doors down and started packing. It was on your way back to Leahâs room that you bumped into your sister and Tooney.
âMorningâ you smiled.
âGood morningâ Alessia beamed, wrapping you straight into a hug.
âWhere you off to?â Ella asked looking you up and down. You were just in a pair of shorts and a hoodie.
âOff to help the messiest person alive pack her bagsâ you rolled your eyes.
The pair knew you and Leah were close friends, but not that youâd been dating for 3 years.
âHer shorts would probably be better off in the bag than on youâ Ella laughed as you looked down at Leahâs number displayed on your thigh.
âOh no, maybe sheâs rubbing off on meâ you groaned making the two girls laugh. âAre you both packed?â You asked and they both nodded.
âY/n, can you hurry up?â Leah grunted from her door.
âDuty callsâ you saluted them both.
âMorning Lessiâ Leah smirked.
âMorningâ she smiled innocently back.
âI wonder what she would think if she knew how I made her sisterâ she whispered to you as you got closer and you pushed her into her room before she could finish her sentence.
âDonât you dare finish that sentence. You know sheâs terrified of you as it isâ you laughed, shaking your head.
You began packing her big bag neatly, before you told her to go and get your bag from your room.
She wheeled both of them down to the lobby while you were scrolling on your phone. You were now both dawned in matching tracksuits with each otherâs numbers on the opposite person, accidentally.
âMaybe just permanently switch numbersâ Ella teased as she tapped the printing on your chest.
âIâm the captain nowâ you done your best Leah imitation as she gave you the finger and went off to speak to Georgia and Keira.
âNice number, Russo number 3â Georgia laughed at the blonde who punched her softly when she stood next to her.
âSleep alright?â Keira asked with the slightest upticks of her lips.
âYeahâ Leah smiled. Probably the best sleep sheâd had all camp. âYou?â She asked as Keira fully smirked.
âNot reallyâ she shook her head. âI was just saying to Georgia actually, maybe if the walls were thicker I would have slept betterâ her and Georgiaâs smirks were growing wider as Leah gulped.
She knew Keira was next door to her room.
âBut at least none of us were out of our rooms and in someone elseâs all night, right?â She asked.
âAnd none of us have secret girlfriends to have in our roomsâ Georgia pointed out with a laugh.
âCan you two shut up?â Leah pleaded as their giddiness was starting to make their voices grow louder.
âWhy? Did you have your secret girlfriend in your room all night?â Keira asked bursting out laughing, making Georgia also fall into a fit of laughter.
âLeah looks annoyedâ Alessia pointed out as you looked over.
You knew that whatever conversation was going on over there, that she was fit to put one of their heads through the closest wall.
âDoesnât she always?â You joked, trying to lighten the mood and forget what was happening.
âIf you two stop laughing, I will tell you everythingâ Leah huffed as the pair tried to stop laughing.
âWe just have one questionâ Keira said and Leah nodded at them, indicating they could ask.
âWho is it?â Georgia asked quickly, getting in ahead of Keira.
âWhat?â Leah laughed.
âWe couldnât make out who it wasâ Keira sighed.
âYou canât both surely be that thick?â Leah frowned before she pointed at the number on her chest.
âOh fuckâ Georgia shouted as she slapped Leahâs chest.
âOw, G. Fucking hellâ Leah winced, rubbing her chest.
âYou and y/n? How long?â Keira whispered.
âItâs actually our anniversary todayâ Leah smiled.
âWhich anniversary, you idiot?â Keira huffed.
â3 yearsâ Leah replied.
âYouâve been with her three years and you didnât tell meâ Keira was slapping Leah playfully to the beat of each syllable that left her mouth, making the captain laugh.
âNobody knows, so can you please keep it down?â Leah asked.
âNot even Less?â Georgia frowned and Leah shook her head.
âEspecially not Alessiaâ
Only one person knew about you and Leah, and that was Alex Scott. Leah and Alex were out one evening in a nightclub, when theyâd randomly bumped into you and your friends from outside of football, who had no idea who the pair even were.
That was the night you and Leah first kissed, and a few weeks later she asked you out.
âYou know Alessia wonât object right? Sheâs already afraid of youâ Keira laughed as Leah rolled her eyes.
âWe just donât know how to tell herâ Leah shrugged.
âLadies can we get a move on? Onto the coach pleaseâ a member of staff shouted.
You made your way out to the bus with Ella and Alessia while Leah made her way with Georgia and Keira.
It was just a quick trip to the airport but that didnât stop Leah frowning when she realised Alessia had taken the seat beside you.
âLessi, donât leave Tooney all aloneâ Leah smirked. âGo on, up you getâ she said as she younger blonde scrambled to her feet and rushed beside Ella.
âLee, be niceâ you warned. âYou know she gets nervous flyingâ you pouted, looking back at her anxious little face.
âLess, I was just joking. Sit here if you wantâ Leah called but the blonde shook her head.
âI donât get why sheâs so mean to me all the timeâ Alessia frowned.
âProbably cause sheâs friends with y/n. Itâs harmless Lessiâ Ella shrugged.
âStop being mean to her or I will out you as the little spoon that you areâ you whispered with a smirk.
âBaby, you promised to stop using that as a threatâ Leah pouted as she sunk into the chair next to you. âActually, Keira and Georgia knowâ she said nonchalantly as she stretched in the seat.
âIâm sorry?â You asked.
âApparently the walls are stick thin in Saint Georgeâs Parkâ Leah laughed as you blushed in embarrassment.
âLeah, thatâs so humiliatingâ you groaned. âWhy didnât you deny it?â
âWhat was the point?â She whispered with a frown.
âWe agreed only Alex was allowed to know. What if Alessia finds out?â You anxiously rubbed your hands together.
âSo what if she finds out?â Leah shrugged.
âLee, Iâm not arguing about thisâ you groaned.
âNo youâre happy to just keep me a secret foreverâ she huffed as she stood up and moved to sit beside Lucy, who was a few rows behind you. Keira and Georgia were down there too.
She walked by your sister who she gave a stern look to before turning away.
You swung your head back in frustration before you put your headphones in and pressed against the window.
âDo you mind if I sit here?â Niamh asked.
âSorry?â You took your headphones off as she smiled at you.
âCan I sit here?â She repeated.
âYeah, of course Niamhyâ you smiled.
âYouâre normally stuck with Lessi or Leah on these tripsâ she pointed out.
âWell, I guess youâre stuck with me todayâ you laughed.
âI wouldnât call it stuckâ she shrugged. âOnly if I have to sit beside you on the plane tooâ she smirked as you punched her arm.
âIs Niamh and your sister flirting?â Ella laughed, looking over at both of you.
âThatâs hilariousâ Alessia burst out laughing, which caught Leahâs attention. She followed Alessiaâs eyes, which were drawn on you and Niamh.
She went to go and walk towards you before the bus started moving and Lucy pulled her into the seat.
It was a quick drive, you and Niamh had just chatted the whole way to the airport.
You stood up and got your things together as Niamh moved off the seat.
âSee you on the planeâ Niamh smiled, as she jogged to catch up to Esme and Lauren.
âYouâre sitting with her on the plane too?â Leah frowned as she watched you take your bag and shuffle off the bus. âY/nâ Leah groaned, walking after you.
âTrouble in paradise alreadyâ Georgia laughed quietly to Keira.
âLee can you just stop? You could have sat with me on the bus but you were acting like a childâ you rolled your eyes at the girl whoâd just stopped protesting about you sitting with Niamh on the plane.
âWhy were you flirting with her?â Leah frowned.
âGet a grip Leahâ you huffed, walking towards the nearest place to get a coffee and a treat for the plane.
It was clear to anyone watching that you were arguing.
The only ones that were watching was Keira, Georgia and Alessia, although she was stood separately to the other two.
Youâd eventually gotten away from Leah, leaving her in the queue for coffee, and started walking towards the gate.
âHere, I can take thatâ Niamh offered, trying to take your bag.
âItâs fineâ you waved her away.
âNo, give me itâ she laughed, taking the bag as you both continued to walk. âDo you want a coffee or a smoothie or something?â She asked.
âHereâ Leah pushed a coffee in front of you, exactly what you wanted right now. âDo you mind if I steal her for a minute?â Leah asked Niamh who frowned, shook her head and walked off.
âThank you for my coffeeâ you smiled.
âIâm sorry for acting like a dickheadâ she began. âIâll speak to Keira and G, but please stop winding me up with Niamhâ she huffed.
âWas it because she took my bag?â You smirked.
âObviously, thatâs my jobâ Leah protested. âCan you sit with me on the plane?â She pleaded as you nodded.
A staff member called for you all to board the plane, when Leah headed over to Niamh. You watched her say something to the brunette who smiled and nodded.
âSit in your assigned seats. You can move once weâre in flightâ the staff member shouted.
You shuffled in beside Georgia and Keira who both smirked at you as you sat down.
âDonât startâ you rolled your eyes at them as they both laughed.
Leah checked the rows and pushed into the seat beside what she thought was Alex.
âAlright?â Leah asked as Alessia whipped her head around.
âHiâ Alessia anxiously replied.
Leah was taken aback that it was your sister she was sitting beside, but quickly got a bit protective as your sister looked a mess.
âYou okay Less? You look really paleâ Leah whispered, turning to face her.
âI hate flyingâ she shook her head.
âYeah, I knowâ Leah nodded, remembering all the times youâd had to keep her calm on a plane. âCan I do anything?â She asked as your sister looked at her funny. Leah was never nice to her, always teasing her in some way or another.
âCan you just make sure when we take off to get y/n or Tooney?â Alessia asked as the captain nodded.
As the plane went up, Alessiaâs heart dropped and grabbed Leahâs hand and squeezed it tightly.
âItâs okay Lessâ Leah rubbed her hand with her thumb.
Meanwhile, you were completely missing this interaction due to being quizzed by Georgia and Keira.
âHow did it happen?â
âWho asked who out?â
âDo you live together?â
âDo you love her?â
âWhat are your intentions with our Leah?â
âCan you both pleaseâ you groaned and sighed in relief as the seatbelt sign went off.
You saw Leah practically jump out of her seat, scanning the plane until eventually her eyes settled on you. She gestured you over quickly.
âDonât keep her waitingâ Georgia smirked as both of the girls fell into a state of laughter again.
âEverything okay?â You asked the girl, touching her fingertips briefly with yours, before looking at the seat sheâd just jumped from. âOh my god, Lessiâ you pushed Leah out of the way and jumped in beside your sister.
She had always been an awful flyer.
âCan you stay for the rest of this?â She asked, still pale as a ghost.
âOf course, just try and relax. It will go by so quicklyâ you smiled, grabbing hold of her hands. âLee can you get her some water?â You asked as she went down the aisle to ask the hostess for a bottle.
âHere kidâ Leah handed her a bottle of water as your eyes gestured to the seat next to you. Leah slipped into the seat, understanding thatâs what the look youâd given her meant.
It was a bumpy flight, but youâd thanked the heavens youâd gotten Alessia asleep and she was sleeping comfortably against the window, or so youâd presumed.
âSome anniversaryâ Leah mouthed and playfully rolled her eyes.
âWell, I heard weâre sharing rooms in Parisâ you smirked. âAnd I think youâd like my roommate, sheâs just as mean as youâ you teased.
âIâm not meanâ Leah huffed.
âYou know you areâ you replied, your tone slightly serious.
Due to Alessiaâs eyes being shut, she couldnât see the smiles or the touches you two shared. She could just hear the conversation.
The plane eventually landed and all three of you woke up simultaneously as the plane hit the ground.
Alessia was asleep on your back, due to you being turned and cuddled into Leah. Your hand quickly broke free from where it was holding Leahâs as you checked on Alessia.
You got off the flight and boarded yet another bus, where you went back to sleep against Leah.
âBaby, weâre hereâ Leah whispered ever so quietly so nobody could hear the pet name. Although, it was just Georgia and Keira behind you.
The plan was for a light training session and then back to the hotel to chill for the rest of the night.
You and Leah, like usual, paired up together. And in typical Leah fashion, she teased the life out of you.
She teased you during training, she teased you on the bus back to the hotel and she teased you while you were sitting on the couch in a room that you were all relaxing in.
You donât know in particular what caused it. Maybe it was you rolling your eyes for the 500th time today, or just overall frustration, but Alessia snapped as she watched Leah drive you demented.
Leah was so harmless though, you did not mind her teasing at all. It was just the way your girlfriend was.
âDo you ever fucking stop?â Alessia proclaimed loudly, making you almost jump out of your skin.
âSorry?â Leah turned with a smirk, slightly amused that your sister was riled up.
âCan you not just sit quietly? Or maybe not make my sister the brunt of your jokes for a change?â She hissed.
âLess thatâs enoughâ you said sternly as Leah laughed.
âNo, sheâs always mean to me too. Why are you even friends with her?â Alessia was furious, but now so were you.
âI was nice to you on the planeâ Leah said lowly, like she was trying not to ruin her reputation of being stern.
You forgot the entire team was in the room as you stared at your sister. She either forgot or didnât care who could hear.
âI said thatâs enoughâ you repeated.
âRight, maybe letâs just calm it downâ Keira stepped in.
Leahâs smirk was still there, but mostly due to how anxious she was about the ongoing heated conversation. She always laughed or smirked uncomfortably when she was anxious.
âYeah, Less letâs just go for a walk or somethingâ Ella tried to take Alessiaâs hand but she freed herself from her best friendâs grip.
âWould you not rather be friends with someone who actually cares about you?â Alessia questioned.
âI do care about herâ Leah mumbled. It was on the tip of Leahâs tongue to tell your sister the truth and you were so appreciative that she hadnât just spat it out.
âWell maybe stop acting like a cocky little dickhead all the time thenâ Alessia shouted.
âAlessia, do not speak to her like thatâ you snapped.
âWhy do you care so much aboutâ
âLeahâs my fucking girlfriend, thatâs whyâ you cut her off as everyone in the room froze.
You heard whispers around the room and thatâs when you were brought back to the realisation that the entire team was in here.
âSheâs your what?â Alessia stuttered.
âOkay, okay letâs all just take a deep breathâ Georgia now spoke, trying to defuse the situation.
Leah jumped to her feet, guiding you quickly out of the room and all the way up to your shared room, where you collapsed on the other side of the door.
âHey, breathe, itâs okayâ she cooed as she sat infront of you and held your hands tightly.
âThis is all my faultâ you sobbed.
âBaby, câmere. Itâs going to be okayâ Leah reassured you as she pulled you against her and let you cry.
Keeping Leah a secret had been so hard, but after just one argument with Alessia, youâd ripped off the band aid like it was nothing.
âSheâs going to hate meâ you cried.
âSheâs your sister, sheâs not going to hate you. Me, maybe. But not youâ Leah laughed.
She always knew how to make you smile, even if you were in a bad situation.
âLetâs go talk to herâ Leah said, standing up and taking your hand.
You took her hand as she helped you up. She tucked your loose hair behind your ears before kissing you gently on the forehead.
âLove youâ she whispered.
âLove you tooâ you smiled. She went to grab a bottle of water beside the bed as you wiped your eyes quickly.
You opened the door to reveal Alessia, stood on the other side.
âLove?â She asked as you practically yanked the girl in and closed the door. âYouâre in love with her? How long has this being going on for?â
âLess, I just didnât know how to tell youâ you softly said.
âHow long?â She asked again, a bit more sternly.
â3 yearsâ Leah frowned. âToday is our anniversaryâ
âYou kept this from me for three years?â Alessia pouted. She thought you two were as close as sisters could be. âYou told Keira and Georgia and not me?â Alessia was angry now.
Youâd started crying again. You felt a horrible wave of guilt wash over you.
âCan you cut her some slack?â Leah grunted.
âStay out of itâ Alessia hissed.
âNo, actually. Youâre making my girlfriend upset and unless youâre going to stop shouting at her, Iâm gonna ask you to leaveâ Leah raised her eyebrows. Your sisterâs new found confidence for standing up for herself was now lost.
Maybe not with you, but Leah could turn serious and intimidating in the space of a few seconds.
âI told Keira and Georgia this morning, the specifics as to why donât matter right now. Your sister decided to keep it between us, and you need to just respect that. You know nowâ Leah was soft spoken but stern.
âLessi, Iâm really sorry. I know I should have told you, I just, I love Lee so much and I didnât want anybody to get in between that or any pressure to be on usâ you shook your head.
âSo you two are actually together?â Alessia asked, looking a bit stunned.
âIs that alright?â Leah smugly asked and Alessia nodded.
âIf youâre not okay with this, please tell meâ you pulled your sisterâs hands so she would look back at you.
âShe canât tease me anymoreâ Alessia huffed.
âI canât agree to that, thatâs who I amâ Leah argued.
âLeahâ you grunted and stared at her.
âFine, okay. Yeah, I can lay offâ she shrugged.
âIâll see you in the morning okay? We can talk then, aloneâ you whispered as you gave your younger sister a hug.
âIâm not angry. I love youâ she smiled as she pressed her forehead against your shoulder.
âLove you tooâ you smiled sweetly.
As Alessia opened the door and left, it was like something clicked in Leah as she ran out after her.
â2 seconds, donât follow meâ she said as she sprinted by you and out the door.
Before you could even get her name out of your mouth she was gone.
âLessâ Leah shouted after your sister.
âYeah?â The girl asked as she stopped walking and turned to face Leah.
âIâm sorry if it came across to you like I didnât care about herâ Leah began before clearing her throat. âI really love your sister and I care about her more than anything in the worldâ
âWell, itâs clear she really loves you tooâ Alessia smiled before turning away.
âWait, Lessâ Leah pleaded as the girl turned back around looking confused. âIâm sorry if it seemed like I was picking on you. I was just trying to get along with you more and I didnât know it was upsetting youâ Leah pouted. âItâs just the way Tooney is with you, that I didnât think you mindedâ
âIâve known Tooney my whole life, thoughâ she shrugged and Leah nodded.
âIâm sorry, I hope thereâs no bad blood and we can be friendsâ Leah stuck out her hand.
âCome here you big softieâ Alessia chuckled pulling Leah in for a hug who immediately wrapped her hands around the blonde forward. âWeâre okayâ Alessia added before letting Leah go and walking back to her room.
Leah got back to the door, where you were stood in the frame.
âThank youâ you smiled.
âYeah yeah, get insideâ Leah smirked.
The floor of the hotel was silent, even with girls sharing rooms. Due to flying and training and the dramatic reveal in the chill out area earlier, most people had opted to head straight to sleep.
âYou awake?â Leah whispered as she felt you wriggle in her hold.
âYeahâ you replied quietly, turning to face her now. Instantly smiling when you saw her.
âI got you something for our anniversary and I completely forgot about it until now. Do you want it now or in the morning?â Leah asked.
âNow. Obviously nowâ you giggled as you sat up and she laughed with a shuffle to get to her feet, turning on the light as she left the bed.
She dug around her bag, the small one you hadnât packed, until she eventually got her hand on a small box and pulled it out.
âHereâ she smiled, handing you the box and sat anxiously on the foot of the bed, hugging her knees.
You opened the box to reveal a keyring attached to a key. You knew it was the key to Leahâs house that you already had, because youâd drawn a little heart on the side of it.
âWhatâs this?â You laughed. âYouâre regifting me my own key to your house?â
âLook at the key ringâ Leah whispered, hugging her knees even tighter.
It was a picture of a little house with writing underneath that read
Y/n and Leahâs
You stared at the keyring before you looked back at her.
âWill you move in with me?â She asked.
âYes, yes oh my god Lee, yesâ you squealed as you jumped to hug her.
âOh my god Georgia, wouldnât it be so bad for a certain couple if the walls were also thin here and everyone heard themâ Keira dramatically shouted from the next room.
âOh yes Keira, it would be terrible for everyone. And I repeat, everyoneâ Georgia shouted louder.
âGod I hate them so muchâ Leah groaned.
âWe wonât have this issue at y/n and Leahâsâ you smiled and kissed her again.

Niamh Charles x Chelsea! Canadian! Reader
Warnings: fluff, cocky! Niamhy, suggestive.
__________________
You were quite new to the team, only joining the Blueâs side in July, but it felt like you had known Niamh for a lifetime.
You were Canadian, but you grew up in Manchester with your parents, playing in the City Academy before playing professionally for them until your move to London. Because of this, you knew Jessie and Ashleigh well. You grew up playing alongside Jessie at the National Camps, debuting for the Senior team in the same year. Winning the Olympics was a dream come true, especially with girls you have known since you were little.
Manchester City was a dream worth chasing. You were friends with Lauren Hemp, Ella Toone â before and during her move to United â and all the rest. When you found Chelsea interested in you, it was undeniably difficult to say no. While you had grown up in the North, the move down was something that ignited a certain thrill within you.
You met Niamh at your first training session. Jessie had been partnered with you for drills, and you were in the middle of introducing yourself to Guro when the brunette came barrelling in. Her flyaways were barren across her face, cheeks nipped red from the cold weather. Her hands stuffed in her pockets, she nearly tripped you to the ground at the speed at which she ran towards you. You had known her from previous matches against her, both for Canada and City, but something about being on the same team with her felt distinct. Sure, you had admired her beforehand, but it was different now.
âJeez, Charles, give her some room, will you?â Guro scoffed, playfully pushing the girl back a bit. You watched as she nipped the inside of her cheek, looking at you so intently that you struggled to keep eye contact.
Niamh held out her hand, grabbing yours and shaking it. You could hear Jessie giggling from behind you. âMy nameâs Niamh.â She announced, continuing to shake your hand. âIâm Niamh.â
Her nervous state was apparent, and Guro was in a fit of laughter at the interaction she was watching.
âHi, nice to meet you.â You replied, hoping your dismissal of her apprehension would cool the flames in both your cheeks. âIâm Y/N.â
âNice to meet you.â She gulped, obviously baffled at what to say.
You couldn't help but smile, nodding. âErm, yes, you too.â
âFuck, let go of her hand, Charles, you're âgonna tear it off.â A voice called from behind. You turned to find the Australian Captain trampling over, slinging a welcoming arm over your shoulder. Her laid-back persona made it easier for introductions. Unlike Niamh, who was a worrying mess in front of you.
âRight, sorry.â The English woman muttered, tearing her hand away and shoving right back in her pocket. Her cheeks seared with an even deeper embarrassment, and you shook off the motion with a tight-lipped smile.
âYouâre alright, really.â You smiled, hoping the reassurance consolidated the girl.
It must've, since Niamh gave you a wide smile back, shuffling by your side ever since.
All of the Chelsea girls were lovely. You had no problem fitting into the Grove there. After a few weeks of making scare appearances as a super sub, you became a regular starter for the Blues. Your presence on the field was noticeable, and fans reeled at how you brought more opportunities down the field and into the back of the net.
âWould you be able to give this to Niamh for me, please?â One fan said after a game, handing two matching friendship bracelets with your names on one of them each. Erin was beside you, signing off the posters, when she caught a glimpse of them. Without a second thought, she waved over Niamh, who wasted no time in sprinting towards you.
âHello.â She spoke, trying hard to discreetly slip her arm around your waist. You leaned into her side, showing her the two bracelets.
âLook how cute.â You smiled, ignoring the way some fans had started recording. You slipped a hand into Niamhâs jacket pocket, holding out the present with your other hand.
Niamh picked up the one with your name on it, slipping it on her wrist and displaying it to the little girl who had made it. âVery cute. I wish we could wear them during games.â
Subconsciously, you put yours (Niamhâs) one on too. The two of you were pretty much hugging at this point. The wind had sent chills through you, your kit doing little to warm you up.
The two of you took a photo with the fan before calling it a day and trudging off back to the changing rooms. You shivered as the wind picked up, holding your arms over your chest tightly as you tried to fight the cold.
Without much thought, Niamh shrugged off her jacket, hauling it around your figure and zipping it up for you.
When you got back to your apartment, engulfing the comfort of your bed after a hard-fought game, you opened up your phone to find hundreds of people tagging your account. You managed to click on the video, smiling to yourself at the sight of you and Niamh huddled together, talking to the little girl with bracelets adorned on your wrists. You clicked on another image, this time a photo, of you blanketed in Niamhâs jumper, your arm wrapped around her waist with one of herâs around your shoulder. The photo was everywhere on social media, including the Chelsea Account. ïżŒ
After a couple more months, you ended up extending your contract until the end of 2027 by Christmas. You loved it there. Your friendship with the team had grown all the more closer. You felt a sense of home and solidarity that you had never felt before.
Your relationship with the team was selfless. Jessie and you had never been closer. Sam and Millie had taken you under their wing, calling you the baby of the group, since you were the shortest between you, them, Guro, Niamh, Erin, and Jessie. Fans had taken a ripe liking to you all over social media. But not just you by yourself, but with a certain brunette in your wake.
You and Niamh had grown very close over the time you spent in London. She wasn't as shy as she made herself out to be when you first met. She was cunning, confident, funny, and easy to be around in any environment. All of your teammates teased the living daylights out of the two of you, especially Niamh, who didn't waste a second in making sure you were always okay.
She would check on you when you went quiet. She always ran to you for partner work during drills, after goals, and when the full-time whistle would blow. The two of you had a habit of huddling together in any setting, holding each otherâs hands or waist, cuddling their side or touching you in some way.
Everything you did with each other was full of love and adoration. It was only you two that didn't see your friendship blossom into a relationship. You weren't daft, you knew the speculations surrounding what the two of you were. There was no denying the physical acclimation you had around each other. Hell, Sam sent at least two memes a day about how whenever you were seen together, you were always touching each other.
Over Christmas, Niamh asked you out. She was a nervous wreck, which reminded you all too well of when you first met her. It was after a game, in the changing rooms. She had been given a bouquet of flowers by a group of fans, who told her to ask you out with them. She was reluctant, not only because she didn't want you to feel uncomfortable or pressured by the media to say yes, but the mere fact of ruining the relationship you already had with each other made her hesitant enough.
Of course, you said yes. It was a no-brainer, and after a few more dates you were officially together. It wasn't any more public than before. Only your close friends knew, but the public was already quite content with the PDA you already showed each other before you were dating. The only thing they needed was confirmation, but Niamh and you were happy to keep in vague.
After you said yes, the two of you became inseparable, both on and off the pitch. Niamh ended up extending her contract as well, and the chemistry you built made for an unstoppable case on the field. By the time the season came back after the break, you had moved in together. The happiness both of you felt was indescribable.
Today, Chelsea was up against Manchester United, your old rival team. Ella Toone was one of your childhood friends and was who you were marking. Not only was ManU a competitive, difficult team, but it was a team you were familiar with. They were always pushing in the midfield and up against the forwards. Their chances during set pieces were worrying to any defensive back line. With the combination of Mary Earps and a sophisticated midfield variation, you knew that you were in for a ride.
When Sam did her ACL, people started to underestimate Chelseaâs shot at winning the league. Everyone was starting to wonder whether the Blues were even contestable for the semis. After a poor attempt last week against West Ham for the FA Cup, you were adamant about proving yourself to the people who were doubting your ability to win. You were a midfielder, and while you had masterclasses in the centre field, your stats didn't excel in goals. You had many assists, but never many goals.
You were tying your laces when you felt your girlfriend's arms curl around your waist. You were leaning against your cubby, back facing Niamh. You were slightly bent as your finished the knot in your shoe, feeling the women behind you grasp your hips with a slight squeeze.
âYou ready to smash it today, baby?â She muttered, her lips shadowing your ear, sending shivers down your body. You held composure well enough, straightening up and letting her wrap her arms over your abdomen.
âMh, bit nervous, but yeah.â You replied, relishing Niamhâs pattern of breath. âHow âbout you?â
Niamh pulled your body to face in front of her, your back now flushed against the wall. You managed to make eye contact with her dilated pupils, feeling one of her hands make their to the back of your neck.
Before she spoke, your eyes filtered down to the fabric that wrapped around her arm, the word âCaptainâ sprawled across the armband. Niamh watched the way your eyes widened, and how you bit your bottom lip at the sight. Niamh smirked in response, pressing her front into yours so that most of your body was hidden to the rest of the room.
âWhat's the matter, baby?â She gloated, rubbing a hand up your side. Your cheeks flushed when she refused to break eye contact, holding tranquillity at the sight of your girlfriend as captain. It was a sight you weren't used to, but it was something you couldn't get enough of.
âNothing. I'mâ we should go line up in the tunnel.â Your breath hitched. Niamh was staring down at you while groping your waist.
Neither of you said anything until you were out on the field. You could hear the crowd cheering in anticipation. You shook your opponentsâ hands aimlessly, your mind sauntering on the previous sight of your girlfriend.
âEarth to Y/N, hello?â Jessieâs voice snapped you out of your trance. She must've watched you wander to your position in a haze, since she was smirking knowingly at your flushed cheeks. Erin came up behind the two of you, laughing when she caught a glimpse of your state.
âShe looks like she's already played the ninety minutes.â The Scottish woman quipped, bringing her hands up to play with your cheeks. You pushed her off playfully, gushing at the ground. âShut up, you two.â
âGod, if this is your reaction to Niamh in an armband, I wonder what Niamh would do if she saw you.â
âGo away, you pricks.â You snapped, flanking them away with your hands, trying to cool your cheeks before the game.
After the team photo, you ran back to your position, jumping up and down as the whistle blew.
The game was inevitably tough, but something had ignited inside of you at the sight of your girlfriend. As embarrassing as it was to admit, you were running up and down the pitch with the one endeavour to make your girlfriend watch you.
Chelsea was controlling the game for the most part, and it didn't take long for Guro to find you inside the box.
The crowd erupted in cheers, your teammates sprinting over to where you stood starstruck. This was one of the scarce amount of goals you had scored that season.
As you were making your way back to the middle, you felt a familiar figure creep up behind you with her hands soothing the tension in your shoulders.
âMaking me so proud today, aren't you, baby?â Niamh whispered, running back to her spot in defence before you could reply.
The first half ended as quickly as it started. United had sent a flyer into the back of the net just before the whistle blew. You avoided Niamh like the plague in the changing rooms, knowing you would cave to her touch as soon as she laid hands on you. In any other circumstance, it was you who would tease, but it always ended with Niamh taking over. The two of you were strict in keeping your private life and career separate, but no one seemed to mind your change of game when Niamh was Captain.
You were having an absolute masterclass of a game by the sixtieth minute, scoring your second goal on seven minutes in. Chelsea was now up two-one, and Man U were starting to bring on subs after a close set piece that almost led to a goal.
You made a break down the wing after Lauren sent a cross-over to the field. You sprinted down the line, trying to find a way into the middle. United were tight in keeping you out, and by the time you had made it down the line, attempting to pass it to one of your teammates, you felt a pair of boots collide with your own, sending you face-first fo the floor.
The ball was long forgotten by the ref, who blew the whistle immediately, medics were sent over. While your muscles started to strain at the energy of the game, you didn't feel instantaneous pain from the fall.
You were rolling onto your back, wincing as you got up, when you first heard your girlfriendâs voice boom over the hustle of the crowd.
âAre you alright there, Zelem?!â She scoffed. You watched a smug Katie Zelem trampling off from where you sat. She didn't look like she meant the tackle, but the heat of the game left her feeling less apologetic than usual.
âOh, let it go, Charles.â Zelem clapped back, walking towards Ella and Millie, who were tense at the sight of Niamhâs uncommon anger. âShe's fine.â
âI don't think you understand.â Niamh marched towards her, grabbing the girlâs jersey, and forcing Katie to face her. âYou get the fuck off her and the rest of my players. Don't be salty cause weâre winning.â
Katie rolled her eyes at that. âDon't be salty cause your girlfriend can't handle a tackle.â
Erin and Jessie were surrounding Niamh moments later, dragging her away from the United mob and towards you.
The medics have already cleared you to keep playing, and you were already up and ready to go by the time your girlfriends grabbed your hand.
âAre you sure you're okay?â She asked, taking in your flustered appearance. What she didn't know was that you were overwhelmed at the way Niamh looked just then, not by the absolute mouthful of grass you just inhaled.
You could only muster a nod, squeezing your girlfriendâs hand once before slipping away from her touch. You were now hungry for not only Niamh but that third goal. You wanted to prove yourself to everyone that you could do it.
And so you did.
It was a Chelsea corner, and you made the run from outside the box near the open post, where no one had thought to mark. You jumped as high as you could, feeling the ball hit your head in the right direction. You fell to the ground before you knew where the ball was going, letting the movement and relief of the crowd pull you to your feet. You ran to the corner of the field, taking in the shouts and cheers of the crowd and letting your teammates engulf you from behind. The weight of everyone sent you down as more and more girls piled on top of you.
This was your first hat trick ever at Chelsea, and you were relishing the feeling of the euphoria for the rest of the game.
When the final whistle blew, you nearly collapsed from exhaustion. Everything you wanted to go right in the game went right. You were reeling at the win, looking across the field for a particular someone.
âGuess I know what to do to make you score some goals.â Niamh chuckled, grabbing your waist and lifting you into a spinning hug. You gripped onto her and giggled, letting her twirl you around.
âThanks, Niamhy.â You smiled, gazing up at your girlfriendâs proud eyes. âYou looked so good today, baby.â
âYou think so?â She asked, though both of you knew she was just egging you on.
âMhm. Looked so good.â
âYou always look good, my stargirl.â The taller girl grinned, looking down at you slyly. Her lips met your ear, her voice sending chills down your spine. âBut I guess Iâll need to reward you for doing so well. Show you how good you were for me.â
You didn't get to respond, feeling Jessie pull you away with the Player of the Match trophy shoved into your chest.
You knew youâd see her soon⊠you were looking forward to it.
