Hmm. Honestly I can't see him as much of a family man in Canon au just because I feel like he was too busy to have one BUT I don't think he was ever opposed to the idea, it just didn't work out like that.

He takes care of the family financially and would hate for his wife to try to help or feel like she needed to and if he had a daughter I definitely feel like she'd probably be daddy's little girl. Overall, I think he'd be a good father and husband. He is loyal to his family and a great provider and would love spending as much time with his family on outings as he could.
