Hi! you may have noticed my asks are off which is odd for an askblog! I have learned that there is possibly a raid on askblogs on the 25th of december sending gore (specifically of children) to askblogs

Now I am skeptical but I will not be taking risks and will not be turning them back on until there is confirmation that is wont happen

i was talking to this c.ai bot about rain world (yeah i use character ai dont jump me)

and i kind of got inspired to make this kinda au which is like, a sort of sequel to rain world??? like completely new lore and slugcats and stuff um anyway would you like if i posted about it here or would that be stupid at least the few people who DO view my account would any of you even listen um also is my idea even valid if it kind of took inspiration from ai or is this post pointless

OH! OH OH OH OKAY OKAY HERES SOME OF MY OCS

FLATLAND OCS YAYYY!:

so the first one is Marley, or M. Cube if you wanna call her that. The second one is Lyn, or L. Line.

I have yet to talk about these guys all that much, but the whole gist of their story is that Marley talks to Lyn about the third dimension.

To go more in depth: Their story takes place way in the past, long before the events of canon Flatland. Lyn is just your average line, though people don't really seem to look at her as "average" because she doesn't know how to talk to people, and also she's an absolute bitch. Yeahhh Lyn kind of just... doesn't like anyone in general... She's also a girlkisser btw lol, so's Marley.

But anyway, while Lyn is just living her life minding her business, Marley pretty much shows up out of nowhere to teach Lyn about the the wonderful fantastic world of Spaceland, yayyy. Naturally, Lyn is kind of skeptical and is her usual bitchy-self, but since she's always kind of questioned if everything she was ever told was right, Marley is able to get her to believe that there is in fact a third dimension relatively easily. She never directly shows Lyn the third dimension, though, mostly because she doesn't have the technology to do so (because if she tried to lift Lyn out of Flatland with her bare hands, she would die lol.) But with enough explaining and convincing, Lyn is taught about the third dimension, which is great for her.

So anyway, after that, Marley just leaves immediately which, naturally, Lyn is pretty devastated about (imagine if you were visited by a higher being and told about some awesome other world and then it just leaves.) She tries to keep this knowledge to herself for a few days, because she's already bad enough at conveying any info at all, but after a while she can't take it anymore and finally tries to tell someone. Which eventually leads to her being hunted down and executed, pretty much.

Oh, but thats not the end of the story!

This is 16-cell, A.K.A E. Hexadecachoron or Edgar. A being from the fourth dimension, or as I like to sometimes call it, Angleland.

So anyway, after a while, Marley goes to check on Lyn only to find that she's, y'know, fucking dead. So this is genuinely heartbreaking for Marley, because she had gotten attached to Lyn, then found out she's dead? Yeah. Sad. But before Marley can be all depressed about it, she's visited by 16-cell, the 4D guy. 16-cell tells Marley that he's here to teach her about the fourth dimension, much like Marley had come to teach Lyn about the third. Only this time, he actually shows her the fourth dimension. So after a while, while Marley is in Angleland, 16-cell tells her that he knows about Lyn, and says that Marley could see her again (because the fourth dimension is kind of time, kind of a spacial dimension, its sorta complicated...) to which, obviously, Marley agrees to do. So they travel through time, back to when Lyn was still alive, and 16-cell actually shows her the third—and fourth!—dimension. But anyway, Lyn and Marley reunite, yuri, the end. (For now, until I add more details to their story... thats just what I have right now...)

Sorry, just wanted to rant about them! I love my silly shape gals... Also maybe if you know their story you'll be able to make more silly drawings, so. That's sorta what I was going for.

I HAVE OTHER OCS TOO! but uh... I don't really have their stories fleshed out, nor have i named them, so right now I kind of just have a bunch of spare shape guys lying around. So yeah.

rain world fandom allow me to tell you about a dream i had. (under the read more cause its LONG)

so in the dream, i was on steam (the software, cause thats what i have rain world on) and i guess i had somehow heard of this thing that you could only find while playing artificer? so thats why i was on steam, to go play rain world and find it for myself.

but anyway, i got to playing as the artificer and i ended up in this weird region... it had the same coloring as sky islands but it was made up of these like, floating caves? there were huge chunks of land that had holes that burrowed down and branched off to other paths in the land, but always ultimately went all the way through the chunk of land they originated from so that they were all split down the middle. the "cavelands" were all stacked on top of one another so you could go through one and land on another. the only creature i remember being there was a single vulture... which i had attacked.

this was, apparently, where i was supposed to be, though.

i was supposed to go to the very bottom right corner of the map to find it, so i did (although that was a bit of a grueling task). once i got to the edge of the map i met this pitch-black slugcat with no eyes (or maybe their eyes were the same color as their body?), and i dont mean like watcher black, i mean like PITCH BLACK. lets call them "The Void" for the sake of convenience, and because they didnt have a name, that i can recall anyway. but anyway, the void said something to me, but i dont remember what, and i followed them into this hidden spot in the wall. in the spot, there was a room split into two sections: the first half, where we entered, which was empty; and the second half, blocked by a wall. void opened the wall, since there was a door, which revealed a little compartment full of coals that were burning. they called it "The Furnace." but anyway, me and void went into the furnace, and i found that we didnt get hurt by it. i, in the dream, chalked this up to artificer having explosion-resistant abilities so obviously shes resistant to other forms of heat too. didnt have an explanation for why void didnt get hurt, though; as far as i knew, they were a new slugcat and i knew nothing about them.

anyway, void goes through a tunnel in the furnace, and i follow them. i follow them to an empty room, but we dont spend much time there since theres nothing to do, and theres another tunnel on the other end of the room so we go through there, and in there we find another room with, on one end, a pile of six slugpups, every one of them a similar color to watcher but with yellow eyes. they were all alive, and they were smaller and thinner than a regular slugpup. void tells me that i can do whatever i want with the slugpups; either for company or for food, or whatever else. i dont remember what i did with the slugpups, but i think i kept two? i saw another tunnel in the room that led even deeper, but we never went through it, which makes me think the furnace might be a kind of subregion of this strange region i was in.

but anyway, i go back up, leaving void behind, with my two slugpups. nothing else really happened after that; i just woke up after leaving.

any ideas what any of this means, rain world fandom? should i try and turn this into an actual story?
