somebody write a joel x reader fic where reader had been taking care of ellie since she was a baby (maybe even was her stepmom for a while??? before she was born anyway) for like a solid decade but they got seperated and then when ellie meets joel they’re interrupted by reader being like "oh my god!!!! look at you!!!"

and ellie’s like so happy to see her but also like "girl calm down…i need to look tough….don’t squish my cheeks i swear to god" or i’ll do it goddamn it
