Being trans does not make you immune from being called out when you say the literal exact same things about trans men and transmascs as TERFs do.

I’ve seen TERFs call “he/they females” “grossly misogynistic” and would you look at that, trans folks also use “he/theys” as a noun meaning “misogynists.” As though not wanting to be called “she” makes us sexist instead of, yknow, just transgender. Transmasculinity is not misogyny. People act as though transmasc transitions mean climbing up the gender ladder and kicking women on the way down, when in reality so many of us including myself have it worse than before.

It is not true that there is no way for us to transition without Joining The Side Of The Oppressors. We are still marginalized for our gender identity, just in new ways now; we do not suddenly stop being oppressed under misogyny once our egg cracks. Nobody is saying trans men and transmascs can’t weaponize misogyny, everyone of every gender can, but we are saying it is not required for our manhood and masculinity. We are saying we do not categorically benefit from misogyny the same ways cis men do. Please stop believing the radfems when they say the only way for men to exist is in opposition to women.

okay but if you ever see a male creative who had a string of great work and then everything else he did was dogshit, go to the "personal life" part of his wikipedia and look at his relationships. you'll either find a major tragedy he didn't recover from (completely understandable) or, more likely, there was a woman in his life doing uncredited shit editing his stuff or contributing generally and she's not there anymore.

I told a friend about this phenomenon in literature and he called me weeks later like, I remembered what you said about women doing uncredited work when tim burton came up. he made a string of bangers then everything else just was nowhere near as good. the timeline matches perfectly to when he was with this german visual artist (lena gieseke). he's done some good work in collaboration, but if things were dug into I suspect we would find she did a lot more than people realise.

so yeah whenever you look around like wow women didn't work in history, or, women aren't auteurs, or, there just aren't as many great female writers - societal reasons for that aside, half the time they absolutely did.

the US education system isn't even that bad. many countries have objectively worse-funded education systems, but don't display the same belligerent idiocy as them. the fundamental issue is that USAmericans have no real reason to care about the rest of the world, as it will never meaningfully affect their lives unless they decide to go on vacation or take part in an invasion. their lack of intellectual curiosity is because the rest of the world never really registers as a real place.

but fr I'll never take it seriously when someone says "i was abused by men, I'm allowed to hate them and anyone trying to show love for men is an MRA" like you know how many of us were abused by our mothers and it's still (rightfully) considered not okay to say that women are all abusers just waiting to kill their children. If you blame violence on someones gender instead of the societal mechanisms that encourage and allow violent and harmful behaviour you're perpetuating that cycle.
