Ok, the headcannon of Eddie liking Chrissy since middle school, cool buuuttt what about

Chrissy having a crush on Eddie since middle school. That middle school talent show, yeah she definitely remembers! She remembers that sweet boy who saw that she was so nervous and who made her laugh and was funny and cute and played guitar! So cool. Then he left for high school and he was always in the back of her mind and on the first day of freshman year. Boom! There he was standing on a lunch table, just like that, the crush came back! ( I imagine at this point, Eddie has decided to be true to himself and wear the title of Freak like armour. )

He was cute in middle school but highschool. He was hot, a junior and he had long hair and wore leather and looked like everything her parents hated and yet he looked so sweet with garret and Jeff. Freshman like her. While she had made the cheer squad, she was still a freshman and not very high on the totem pole.

So while the rest of the girls talk about Jason or even Steve, all Chrissy can think about is Eddie Munson. Mrs. Chrissy munson was all over her diary. It's the end of the year and Chrissy has finally worked up the nerve to talk to him. See if he remembers and thank him for being so kind to her. Maybe they can become friends and who knows, maybe more even someday. Except he's talking to some junior girl who looks like a woman and is dressed like him. ( I can't imagine Eddie was the only metal fan in highschool, seriously. Or it was the beginning of his drug dealing.)

A freshman who looks like she's in middle school. Eddie is gonna be a senior, and is so cool compared to her, a little freshman who is still going through puberty. So when her tells about a rumor that Jason is gonna ask her out, she thinks why not. Yet she still can't help when her eyes suddenly wander over to that table at lunch or in the halls. Eddie Munson who has no idea she even exists, is her What If?

Seriously, you expect me to believe no one liked Eddie, he had tattoos and wore leather and denim. Yeah he was nerd but he was in a band! Maybe he wasn't the boy who you brought home to mom but he was definitely the one you were daydreaming about doing things with. Hmmmm😈
