It’s really really really hard to love yourself. This I know like the back of my hand. But I’d love to get people to love themselves a bit more. So I’mma start.

AYo wassup this is me and you know what??? I’m proud AF about who I am. I’m Hawaiian, Samoan, Mexican, and (this I just found out) Chinese! That’s a hella mixture man! For the longest time, I’ve been sensitive/ashamed of my round face but yknow what. It makes me look cute af and helps my hair stand out. My eyebrows are bushy—but the arch game is POPPIN!! I have no cheekbones yeah but that’s helped my makeup game a lot because now i know how to contour, highlight, etc. I’m pansexual and I know I’m capable of love and someone loving me, I’ve had both girlfriends and boyfriends, I got this. I’ve learned from my mistakes and I don’t allow myself to be in a toxic relationship with a parent/friend/sweetheart because I know I deserve better than that. My highest GPA has been a 4.7 so yeah, imma get into college. I got scholarships so you betcho ass that I know I’m smart enough to make it in this world. I know these things and it’s hard to admit because I feel conceited or that I’m boasting but this is me! And I’m proud to be me.

I love you guys a whole lot and I want you all to know that you’re beautiful/gorgeous/handsome just the way that you are. You’re unique so be proud of it! You are so worthy and so amazing, I can’t even put words to it. You can get into a relationship, you can pass that test, you can do whatever you put your mind to! You’re smart, you’re so very special, you’re talented, you’re a piece of art that should and will be admired by everyone (including me bitch tf). Try to say something a little positive about yourself everyday, it goes a long way I promise!

I’m seeing some people defend the Russo’s by saying shit like “it’s not as if they started shooting the funeral scene as soon as they stepped on set they had a day to rehearse”

THATS NOT HOW ACTING FUCKING WORKS. NOT AT A HIGH SCHOOL PRODUCTION LEVEL AND SURE AS FUCK NOT AT A HOLLYWOOD LEVEL

1. Part of the reason rehearsal takes a while is to learn lines, but

2. Then it’s learning the delivery of the lines

3. Then it’s getting into the headspace of the scene and knowing which emotions to convey

4. And if they’re an especially talented actor, they’ll be acting with body language and facial expressions too, which also take time to get down

5. And some actors are method actors, meaning they get in character and stay in character off set and live their life as the character to really get into what makes that character tick. MANY of the marvel actors are method to a degree. Even rdj has admitted to going home still in the mindset of tony.

You absolutely cannot spring a surprise scene on an actor, give them only hours or a day to rehearse, and expect their best. You can’t even expect exceptional. It’ll be good and decent at most and that’s fucking tragic when you’re part of the most anticipated film of a goddamn decade.

It’s stressful as fuck for actors to work under conditions like that. Bad enough if a director or writer decides to change a couple lines at last minute. Being blindsided by an entire scene? Jfc I can’t even imagine.

This goes for all the other fucking bullshit the Russo’s pulled like not telling people who they might be fighting, what some cgi thing looks like, or who they’re even gonna be on set with until the day of. That is not and has never been how acting works and I gaurntee if this had been any other studio most of them would have refused to act under such conditions. But since it is Disney/marvel and the studio does all but own their soul on paper, they have to.

Rdj is about the only one who gets to do what the fuck he wants since without him there is no mcu, and certainly not endgame. But even he isn’t immune to this. The Russo’s ganged up and pressured him into things he originally didn’t want to do and was uncomfortable with. They aren’t the first directors to do that to him, either. At the end of the day, he seems fine with the results. And that may be the absolute truth of it. But we can’t really know for sure ANY of their real thoughts and emotions about it all because either it’s literally in their contract that they can’t speak ill of anything under the studios umbrella or it’ll be twisted around on them and become a much bigger thing than they’d want it to be.

Which is why when bad shit happens on set actors are typically quiet about it for years to come, until they’re safe from major reprecussions. No one is immune to this. Not the richest actors, not the most beloved ones. Which is why the union exists but even then there is only so much it can do.

SO. When people say the Russo’s are shitty for what they did, that is not an exaggeration. When people say it’s unfair to the actors, that is not an exaggeration. When people say they cared more about the product than the story they were trying to tell, it is not an exaggeration.

And I sincerely hope a decade from now when endgame is old news and these actors are long out of Disney/Marvel’s clutches that we hear from them just how unfair it really was.

tony stark loves peter parker and just want to protect him

when tony meets peter, he shows interest in him, he tries to find out if peter is a good person, before recruiting him 

peter was already spiderman and tony just gave him more protection with a new suit

he believes in him when no one does

he brings peter into fight because he thinks captain wouldn’t hurt him, and he hoped they wouldn’t have to fight

after all the sufferings he’s been through, after being betrayed, after seeing his parents get murdered, and after being left alone in siberia, the first thing he does is taking peter home

tony is scared for peter, so he creates him a suit with everything he might need, to protect him

he puts a parachute in his suit because he saw pepper and rhodey almost die falling, and doesn’t want it to happen to peter

he puts a heater in his suit so that peter is not to suffer the cold as it happened to him

he puts a tracker to be able to find peter wherever he is, because he knows what it’s like to be lost

he puts the baby-monitor protocol to be able to watch over him and act if something goes wrong

and an ai to help and support him

tony didn’t just “put a instant kill mode in a 15 years old child’s suit”, he protected this mode with the training wheels protocol that peter broke

he takes care of peter, he often asks happy how peter is

and listens to the messages he leaves him

he watches over him, protects him, saves him, he asks him to stay away from danger..

he wants him to concentrate on his studies, he suggests to get him into MIT

tony’s arm is shaking because he’s about to have an anxiety attack because he’s scared for peter ( it breaks my heart )

he supports peter

his dad never gave him support so he tries to break the cycle and be there for peter, he doesn’t want to reproduce his father’s mistakes

tony listens to peter, and calls the FBI as soon as peter warns him about the villains

peter made a mistake he almost got himself killed and other people so tony takes the suit back

he wants to teach him to take responsibility for his actions

he would feel so guilty if anything happens to peter, he don’t NEED that on his conscience. he already blames himself for so much things, even when it’s not his fault..

and he doesn’t want peter to have to live with deaths on his conscience. people always blame him and he always blames himself for everything, he doesn’t want peter to live the suffering he’s going through

when peter proves that he is ready, that he has learned from his mistakes, and learned that he can be a hero without the suit, tony offers him to become an avenger and gives him the suit back

how can people say things like “protect peter from tony”?? tony is the best thing that could happen to peter. he’s the best mentor he could have had. he loves peter so much and does everything to protect him
