james won’t hesitate to hex anyone who shows him disrespect and he won’t hesitate to stand up for others either

however, regulus is there to protect james in the ways he can’t protect himself:

when people start taking advantage of james’ giving nature, or asking too much of him; when regulus can see that james is stretching himself thin- that’s when he gets involved

i pity anyone who tries to use james potter without actually caring about him
