So, I'm going through the last section of the quest story, and I want to share what made me cry

I really liked Schneider from her first appearance in the story. i relate to her with a lot of empathy and sympathy. i was very hurt and bitter and bad when she died

and now I know about her family. how they just wanted to find a shelter where they could stay safe in the midst of all this chaos, but the foundation denied their request. i.e....Schneider was a HUMAN, and she, as well as her family, needed SHELTER. THE OFFICIAL AUTHORITATIVE ORGANIZATION literally said to them «paupers, f**k off», WHY??? WHY?

LITERALLY those DAMN foundation people sent her a this letter, WHY? WHY DID SHE DESERVE THIS? and the excuse was "uh, we don't have the capacity to accept people from all over the world" YEAH ????? REALLY??? it's SO cruel, it's HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE

If she and her family had been given shelter, she would be alive. but because of.... I don't know what was in people's heads...but she is dead, SHE DIED horribly and unjustly because she had nowhere to go

I sat with my face in my hands and curled up into a ball, and cried after all this, and then my head was empty

REDRUM: Eagle's Skin Reference

In the skin titled "Sixth Sense" on Eagle, you can easily notice a reference to Stephen King's book "The Shining" (or its adaptation by Stanley Kubrick).

In the book, one of the key characters, a boy named Danny Torrance, sees the word "REDRUM" which reflects as "MURDER" in a mirrored surface. In the film, Danny writes the word on a door, and his mother, Wendy Torrance, sees it in a mirror reflection.

The skin's description states: "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." It's believed to be first documented in James Howell's proverb collection in 1659. The plot of the book involves the father of the Torrance family, named Jack, spending a lot of time writing a book, metaphorically leading to his severe burnout. Instead of working on his book, he repeatedly types out this proverb.

You know, I'd really go out with her to collect cute little frogs on the street near school, and we'd carry them in our pockets and hold them in our hands. I'd give all the frogs she'd bring in different silly nicknames!!! and we'd also collect pebbles together and collect them! we'd really have a big collection of pebbles together!!! and I want to bring her taffy and lots of different goodies and whatever she likes!!!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
