I honestly love their dynamic and wish we got more of it, there’s a ton of untapped potential with Clayton, a father in his 40s, and Kana, an exiled samurai in her 20s.

(It’s also hilarious to imagine Clayton fretting over her like a concerned parent whilst she towers over him, both in height and muscle.)

Thank you OUAW/LoA Tumblr for motivating me, I have finally done it and written out a oneshot for this idea!

"Frost Waits." (2,769 words) - an AU in which Frost takes Torbek's place when the crew doesn't do the trade for one reason or another.

I'm not 100% happy with it, but, hey! I wrote it! It's done!! And I knew if it wasn't a oneshot it was never getting done- but maybe in the future I'll do something more in-depth with it. I hope you enjoy it regardless :D
