I didn't think there'd be this many of you guys, but thank you for staying for the ride! as a TW, the twitter thread response briefly mentions the spam of adult material, death threats, and hate speech that happened in the server- Tamar and co owners let it all happen, while claiming none of it happened on their watch. They were apparently very on top of it all.

a brief reminder, Charlie is the person who made the twitter thread and exposed Tamar, Tamar is the server's owner

Essentially, Tamar has come fourth on the server and explained herself. Still claiming to be a zionist- while also saying she doesn't support the genocide. She brings up the initial twitter thread from yesterday, demanding proof from Charlie. Even though Charlie was apparently "never part of the server" and the server is currently still on lockdown. How is Charlie supposed to get proof? Easy! Ex staff members and ex partners have provided many screenshots and testimonies to Charlie to post in response to Tamar. Many countering her claims that staff members were never banned (many were) while some were countering her claims of nothing happening behind the scenes (stuff did happen and it is in many of the ex staff's testimonies to Charlie). All proof can be found through the twitter link above.

What's worth noting is that she never refers to the genocide as what it is, a genocide. She'll always refer to it as a political matter. She only uses the word genocide when someone else refers to it as such or remarks how she supports it.

Another thing, Tamar only apologized in two screenshots for her actions. Not in the server announcement itself. Not anywhere else. Not in her twitter post. Just in two screenshots. In which she also explains she supports in the expansion of an Israeli nation, but to give her some credit-she makes it clear she does not support violence. While also supporting in the expansion of an Israeli nation okay Tamarrr, great thing to say during a genocide? Another note here, I'm not sure why Tamar chose to include a minor in her post? She doesn't bother to hide her username and refers to her by name. I've made sure to censor the minor's name and pfp. Idk why an adult is using a minor's remark to self victimize herself and make it seem like everyone just started bashing on the zionist for being a zionist. "I don't know why my own staff is turning on me". Shut up Tamar jeez

I only wish to make more people aware of what is happening in one of the biggest art discord servers. Or, if they were like me, to help current or past members to be aware of the current situation in the server. I will continue to update if needed, for others and myself.

I don't know who else needs to see this, I know there are many artists here who might not have twitter or are currently unaware of the situation. I will leave a link to the twitter thread I got my information from.

The discord server, Art & Commissions, is essentially on a lock down and getting cleared of all pro-palestine members. I'm literally watching members get kicked as I type this. The owner and co owners are zionists and are refusing to acknowledge that what is happening is a genocide. They keep referring to it as "political" and are now on a "this server is only for comms and art" tangent. The server was meant to be a safe space for artists of all backgrounds but they're now making it an exclusive space for pro-zionists/anyone who doesn't comment about Palestine. The server itself is pretty big, over 50k members, and they accept donations from it's members.

Amongst other issues, I've learned today they have minors as moderators. The owners are adults. The youngest mod I have seen as I look through the server is 14. Claiming their dms are open. Something alarming I found while going through the server for any screenshots needed before I left.

The twitter thread is currently getting popular, 5.2K reposts and 11k likes. I am happy people are sharing and exposing it. I only wish to extend it to tumblr and make this situation aware to anyone on here who wishes/needs to see it. Especially if they're like me and weren't active on the server/had it muted. I wasn't aware of this situation until I saw a friend repost the thread on their twitter.

I will also say this: being Israeli or Jewish =/= a zionist. Tamar has declared herself as a zionist.

A bit of a vent below heheeee- nothing major just work stuff grrr

Trader Joe's dropped some mini canvas tote bags- which-- don't get me wrong they're cute! I have one cause an employee saved me and my coworkers one each! But... these people stood in line for HOURS to get 4 bags, the limit was 4. For a small 2.99 tote bag. AN ELDERLY WOMAN COULDN'T GET BY- SHE WAS IN ONE OF THOSE MOTORIZED WHEELCHAIRS- SHE HAD TO DO A U TURN AND TRY A DIFFERENT ROUTE!! CAUSE PEOPLE IN LINE WERE BEING DUMBASSES AND NOT MAKING WAY FOR ANYBODY!! OVER A TOTE BAG???? I work right next door to a trader joes- and these people didn't make space for my store or other retailers?? They blocked off all of our doors>:0- The store I work at is a pet store- so some people left with big bags of food! But nope! Had to go all the way around!!! Some workers couldnt even take their lunch in peace cause this stupid bitch ass customers YOINKED the chairs from the outside tables!! To sit in while waiting for the TOTE BAGS!!!!! CAUSE OF A FUCKING TOTE BAG!!!! WE HAD SIGNS UP TO LEAVE A GAP FOR OUR DOORS- SO CUSTOMERS COULD PASS THROUGH- AND MY MANAGER KEPT TELLING THEM TO LEAVE A SPACE FREE FOR THAT REASON- BUT NOBODY FUCKINGNSJAJCNDIZJC LISTEEEENNNEDD :'[

I did grab mine before they released it to the public tho-- and I waved that bag around once I was back inside at the store I work at. I popped open that paper trader joes bag and waved THE TINY ASS TOTE BAG AROUND-- though I'm not that brave and had my back turned-- IT WAS SATISFYING TO WAVE IT AROUND WHILE PEOPLE STOOD IN LINE WAITING FOR THEIR'S- AND TO JUST TURN BACK AND WATCH THEM DO A DEEP HEAVY SIGH BE ALL IRRITATED- AUGH MADE MY DAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!! >:D
