ive seen people say that will was insensitive and too demanding when it came to nico not sharing enough with him, which strikes me as an odd complaint, because he had multiple moments throughout the book of reassuring nico that he doesn’t have to talk about painful topics, and nico appreciating that but insisting he’s ready to share:

There was the one moment where will snapped at nico by saying “(i don’t know what you’ve been through) because you won’t tell me!” but this came up because nico was expecting will to be sensitive about things he didn’t know of, which is a point of growth for nico in the book.

will never pressures or guilts nico into sharing more than he wants to! but at the same time, he can only be sensitive and responsive to nico’s trauma if nico talks to him about it. nico learns to adjust his expectations of will AND he gets to a point of being more confident and comfortable opening up to him. it’s a nice arc for their relationship development that’s worth appreciating

Idk if its because of Mark, but I really feel like a lot of the criticisms Rick got for how he handles trauma were listened to, and I really think Nico is going to be a great protagonist.

So I was working on tomorrow’s prompt (first impressions!!) and I was wondering about the general consensus on Aizawa’s Hero Academia lol

i think he started on the hero course because for him to be with hizashi while they got names they would need to be together in first year (like the current students) and because he claims to be bad at fighting and is extremely self conscious in the vigilante flashback which would not make sense if he had won the sport festival or he had done good in it because even his teacher doesn't seem to see the potential of his quirk also by making him win the sports festival we are missing a lot potential of literally making the entrance exam anything we want i don't think we are ever told if the entrance exam is always the same but if not then you could make it as crazy as you want like you are telling me you want to keep the same exam with robots for 15 years?
