This is a good take. I love writing pining. I love writing romances where the two are absolutely devoted to each other in life and death and everything in between; even if they don't explicitly say it, and they have no hope of any sort of gain, you see them quietly and consistently working for each other's good behind the scenes for nothing but the sheer love of that person.
we think pining is romantic because fidelity is romantic. the reason it pulls at our heartstrings is less the idea of a longing that can never be satisfied and more the idea of someone being faithful to their love even when they’re not getting anything from it
theyre the really annoying PDA-loving couple in high school that use obnoxious pet names like shmookums
I came across a complication of clips from old vlog-like videos with Ian and Antony from SMOSH, and while I never actually watched their skit videos much, I thought I’d maybe find an interaction in one of the clips that would fit with Donald and Reese. Sure enough, a clip came on where the two of them are about to eat some pizza. Antony opens the box, only to stop mid-sentence and notice that a slice is already gone. And the audio that you hear is the rest.
Originally it only features the two people which is Ian and Antony, but I thought it’d be funny if I added in @toothpaste-dragon’s character Cricket to give Reese someone to try and put the blame on! I don’t think Donald’s going to buy it though… 😂
Also I keep ending up switching the styles of the eyes sometimes when I do animations. 😅 I mean, I know that it can be done on purpose for effect, but… I usually don’t do it intentionally. Oh well. 🙃
I've decided to take place in #inktober this year! I don't know if I'll get through all of the prompts, but I think I'll be uploading the ones I do in little batches like this. 😊🦇♣️♦️♠️ Which one of these three little ink doodles is your favorite? My favorite ended up being the little bat with his boots!
sometimes a theme recurs in your work without your permission. and sometimes it reaches a threshold where you're like. well now i think this is saying something about me against my will. don't know what though
Me, drawing Sonic fanart in 2024? It's more likely than you'd think! I used to draw quite a lot of Sonic fanart back in the day... way back in the day! I have recently been hit with a resurgence of Shadow love. A character whose main themes are grief, loss and redemption? Of course I love him!
A little comparison of little gremlin to adult gremlin! I hope you enjoyed this week's installment of 'Slices of Gremlin'! I am going to continue updating every Tuesday, and if you would like to support the comic and get early access, you can sign up to be a member of the 'Little Creature Club' on Ko-Fi!
If I had a single flower for every time I think about you, I could walk forever in my garden.
