ohhh the shit im cooking with my sydleo bro
DPXDC prompt( cause it's consumed my life)
Bruces takes 1 day off every year. From Work, from Batman, from everything. He disappears for 24hrs.
Once the rest of the Batfam catch on to this. They decide to investigate. Placing a tracker on Bruce they follow him... deeper into the cave, very deep, to a secret room.
Inside the cave is a man with white hair resting in a glass coffin.
They watch as Bruce talks to him and cries. Then Bruce's watch let's out a beep as it strikes 12am, and they watch as the dead man Bruce was crying to wakes up.
Basically, Danny is cursed to sleep all but 1 day a year. Why. Because Danny is Gotham, and Gotham is cursed, and so is Danny.
Bruce loves Danny/Gotham, his husband. He just wished they had more time together.
So, a lot of people have suggested Danny meeting Klarion, as Klarion in a way could be classified as a particularly mischievous spirit. Well, I propose Klarion, Danny, and Discord meet.
After all, Discord was introduced as a spirit of Choas. Not to mention a Lord of Choas. Would that mean he would have more jurisdiction over Klarion or would it be the other way around?
Maybe, since Clockwork is Danny's pseudo-dad, Discord could be Klarion's pseudo-dad. And Clockwork and Discrod set up a little playdate between the two.
To add on to the lantern core being older Danny through time nonsense this scene from adventure time came to mind, where Charlie merged with her older self to obtain her wisdom without living to achieve it.
change it to Danny & older Danny and its a fun concept

Okay so this might be nothing, but I've been thinking about it.
So, DC × DP world, yeah?
Phantom isn't really a big time hero yet, he's still focused on Amity, but he's being scouted for the Justice League, and he notices something.
Is... is Green Lantern firing ecto-blasts? Because those really look like ecto-blasts.
It takes him a while to actually get close enough to confirm, but yeah, those are definitely ecto-blasts, but Green Lantern isn't dead. Also, there's a whole group of them, so what gives? Are they using ecto-weapons? How? Why? They seem convinced it's some kind of alien tech, but Danny KNOWS what ecto-blasts look and feel like.
Obviously, he has questions. But as a minor hero like him, you can't just go up to a founder of the Justice League and start asking questions like that.
But, he can do a bit of his own research, right? The Watchtower has some files he can access, and the rundown on the Lantern Corp seems... familiar. Energy blasts and powers fueled by strong emotion, that's definitely ectoplasm. It can form shapes, act partially intangible or not, all things Danny has seen in the Ghost Zone.
Okay. But there's other Lantern Corps, different colours. But Danny knows that Ectoplasm can take different shapes and colours, he's definitely encountered pink before, and his own ghost powers sometimes show up as blue. So if the different emotions corrospond to the different colours, it would make sense.
The rings are powered from something in space, he knows that. He's not sure WHAT, he doesn't have access to those files, but he knows the rings need to recharge from it. If it's something like his parent's tech, than maybe it needs to re-up the ectoplasm every once in a while, like a phone battery.
So, Danny is 99% sure that Green Lantern uses ectoplasm, but what can he do about that? What should he do? Green Lantern is a senior hero and might not even listen, and would that even matter? It's not like not knowing has caused problems, but still, knowing something GL doesn't is making Danny anxious.
And for a while, he doesn't do anything. He goes on missions, he protects his town, he goes to college. It isn't until a massive threat sweeps across the earth that he finally does something.
The Lantern Corp is down. All of their rings are drained, they don't have time to charge them, but the League only just figured out how to stop the threat, and the Lanterns would be the best way to do it. They're all arguing in the Watchtower, trying to decide who to send in instead, when Danny finally blurts out "I can recharge the rings!"
Everyone goes a bit quiet, then start yelling all at once at him. He only manages to get them to listen by yelling over all of them again to be quiet.
Eventually, he explains, and watches as Green Lantern goes from disbelief, to bafflement, to determination. The rest of the Justice League seems equally surprised when Danny channels some ectoplasm into the ring, and it starts glowing again.
They defeat the threat, with the Green Lantern Corp and Danny fighting side by side. It's the biggest role he's had in one of these fights, and he's nervous, but when they all get back to the Watchtower for the debrief, he gets a pat on the back by Green Lantern, and a nod from Batman.
Danny discovers his DNA was used to stabilize Connor long after he and Clark have reconciled. What follows is a Cold War full of passive aggression as the two parents fight for favorite dad status.
A little after Clockwork adopted Danny he decided to throw a "family reunion" to introduce him to his new siblings and nieces and nephews. Admittedly, he did forget that he never apologized for the time he went crazy with power and ate his kids until he received a response from his oldest, Hestia, asking him if this was a plot of some kind. (She also seemed to be open to reconciliation though, so he was hopeful)
Wonder Woman had been chatting with Hawkwoman when a glowing green envelope appeared on the table in front of her with her name on it.
There’s something wrong. Ever since that accident with his parents’ new device, Danny can’t transform into his ghost form.
Heck, he can’t even his powers at all. Not even the ghost sense.
Even with access to his parents’ ghost hunting devices (which have helpfully (if inexplicably) stopped targeting him), can he really protect Amity Park like this?
………
There’s something wrong. Ever since that accident with his parents’ new device, Phantom can’t transform into his human form.
And to make things worse, he has no idea where he is, either. He’s never heard of “Gotham City” before, nor has he been able to find Amity Park on any of the maps he stole borrowed unofficially from the library.
He might have better luck going on a computer, but they’re currently locked down for the night and he wouldn’t exactly blend in during the day. Even with invisibility, someone could still notice his actions on the computer.
He could maybe overshadow someone to use as a disguise, but that could bring attention to him too, even if he tries to make it quick.
The last thing he needs is ghost hunters after his head. Sure, he’d probably win, but it’d waste time and there’s no reason to risk it in a situation like this.
He’s already waiting for the other shoe to drop and some ghost to come at him for entering their haunt unannounced. A city with emotions as heavy as this must surely have some ghosts. (right?)
Well, no matter what, he has to pick a course of action soon. He can’t afford to leave his haunt Amity Park unprotected for too long. The mere thought of his haunt home at risk while he wasn’t there to help burned at his core.
He shoved the anxious feelings down and forced his form to stabilize. His emotions were running higher than normal here, but he could control himself.
He was fine. He would find Amity Park. He would get back. He would.
He had to.
His obsession couldn’t take any other outcome.
Danny has a space core, in the beginning he thought he has an ice core, but it turns out that because he had been highly stressed since his death his core had been underdeveloped and only showed certain aspects to keep him healthy.
Years have passed his 14 birthday (death-day)
He was now 17 and had grown into his core which had revealed a lot about him.
For example, being the Ancient of space distorted his entire view of everything. After all space was everywhere and ever growing, expanding more and more.
Danny could feel himself in his physical halfa body,
But at the same time he was watching people on the other side of the planet: laughing, dancing, celebrating, crying, being born, dying, mourning, and going about their day.
That was only on this Earth he could see every Earth that exists.
Earth was such a small part of space.
He could feel & see entire solar systems, galaxies, nebulae.
More & more
Just continuing to expand
Never ending
As he got older he could understand more his connection to everything.
Being able to help life be born on other planets
Moving moons towards planets
Creating star nurseries
Everything at his grasp
~
This would cause him to let his mind wander away from his physical form, which just looked like he was spaced out.
His human form slipping slightly when he does: freckles gaining a glow and moving to form different constellations, his hair moving like if it were weightless, and his eyes
Don't stare too long at his eyes
After all the eyes are the window to the soul
And his hold too much
(Look away)
~
Danny casually watches a meteor shower hundreds of light years away, spaced out: Ooh pretty!
The poor goon who taught he could mug a careless teen and stared at his eyes for too long: *Twitching on the ground foaming at the mouth*
~
Danny who hasn't blinked in a few minutes: "The pretty space station with heroes in it just made a full orbit on top of us again!"
Tim next to him who's just waiting in line for a cup of coffee or 3: *panicked side eyes him* Wh-What?
~
Batman: "We have to find who's taking out all these criminal."
Danny who looks like a Wayne kid therefore getting regularly kidnapped (or at least attempted), focusing on making a good star nursery: " Shhh! I'm concentrating"
Villain & his goons dropping like flies: "Mercy!"
~
Just an Idea
Red Hood has been spotted doing something that made his reputation take quite the hit.
Walk around with a teddy bear riding on his shoulders.
Now, did Jason give any fucks about his reputation right now? No, not one, because he found a friend that he thought he wouldn't see again.
You see, after Jason died, he manifested as a ghost in the Infinite Realms, there he met a sentient Teddy Bear that he became fast friends with.
After having been revived, however, he no longer saw them. At least until today, where they appeared out of nowhere and looked exactly the same as he saw them last.
A shoulder ride, for old times sake.
The deal in question: "The sand is rising high into the sky, winding up into the form of death, mercilessly taking away the moisture of life in the other world of Aaru.
The young Horus gazed at the being at the center of it with a twinkle in his eye.
The incarnation of the storm, known as Seth, notices him and, with a wave of his staff, controls the storm.
Horus: Uncle!
The backlight obscures the expression on Seth's face as he slings his staff over his shoulder.
Unlike himself, who was still a little chick, the figure looking up at him was defiant and solitary.
And I remember him picking me up in his arms, not caring about my sand-covered feathers.
He was always present at family gatherings, a grown-up figure with a suspicious, picaresque charm.
He didn't seem to care for the estranged looks of his own parents and siblings.
Horus: Uncle! When I grow up, I will stand next to my uncle who fights alone.
Horus: Right now my parents are being difficult, but we just need to make sure that no one has anything to complain about.
Horus: So, for uncle's ring finger and the position of his partner... You will make an advanced deal with me won't you?
When I said this, Seth smiled and I smiled too. I didn't understand the meaning of that smile back then."
The first time she remembers seeing him, is when she is guiding the soul of Dr. Jazzmine Fenton. The world renowned author and psychologist.
Jazz had lived a long life, it only been a few days after her 87th birthday. She had passed gently in her sleep.
Death of the Endless was used to the people she guided having some questions or confusion.
Jazz was a rare one. She was quiet. Just giving Death an understanding nod and her arm.
At the end of their journey, before Jazz entered the Sunless lands. She stopped.
Turning to lock eyes with Death, the woman spoke.
"HELP HIM".
There was weight behind her words, this wasn't a request.
Before Death could answer, Jazz had turned and entered the sunless lands.
It was the heavy weight of the womans words that had Death returning to where she had collected the soul of Jazzmine Fenton.
There she met him.
Sitting next to the cooling body, holding her hand as tears silently ran down his cheeks.
He couldn't be more than 14. His sickly pale skin and fluffy black hair reminded her fondly of her brother.
To her surprise, the boy turned to look at her. Could see her.
The heavy sharp look behind his eyes reminded her of Dream as well.
"She's gone". He spoke quietly.
It wasn't a question, she nodded anyway.
He looked back at the body, gently placing the hand he held back on the bed. Standing up, he kissed her forehead and stepped away.
"Can you take me too?" Barely a whisper.
Her confusion continued. She shook her head. " it's not your time." She replied gently, laying a hand on his shoulder only to startle back as she felt his soul. He was dead.
The surprise must have shown on her face as the boy let out a defeated sigh. As more tears filled his eyes.
"Then when, it's been decades."
Gathering herself, she put both her hands back on his shoulders, looking down at the dead child. She didn't understand herself. The boy was one of hers, yet she hadn't given him her gift, and she couldn't guide him. There was no path for him to be guided down.
Softly she rubbed the boys shoulders and gently smiled before replying.
" I don't know," she paused, "but we'll figure it out".
She took the boys hand as she led him away from the room.
Time to cash in on the favour Dream owed her. She had a feeling her brother and his immortal lover will have a positive affect on the sad young boy, while she figures out why the boy is stuck.
Part 1??
