And at the end of the interaction it’s “Bye, Mrs. Morales, Captain. I’ll make sure I have Miles home by 11.” And suddenly the situation is completely diffused because THEIR Miles dating someone so polite ? Someone that looks like every parents nightmare, but still. And the more Hobie is around the more they love him.
